We had an amazing time at oak & ember. we sat inside where the ambiance was classy and calm. our server santiago was very attentive and did a great job. the food was really delicious. i also loved that they blowtorch the steak at the table a really nice extra that adds to the experience. highly recommend!

My husband and i came to morton s for our anniversary, and it was the most wonderful experience. the manager john created our very own special menu wishing us happy anniversary, and took a picture of us and even printed it out and put it in a beautiful morton s photo folder. it was such a special touch that made the night that much more special. our waiter jp was extremely helpful with the menu, and made great recommendations. our steaks were the best we ve ever had, the sides, sour cream mashed potatoes and the corn souffle were full of flavor and the perfect dishes to accompany our steaks. they gave us a complimentary lava cake and words can t describe how delicious it was! we were so incredibly happy with our experience, the manager and waiter were extremely accommodating and efficient, service is top notch, we were so impressed. thank you for making our anniversary so special!

Came in on a tuesday to find a mostly empty bar. i had made a 7pm reservation a few days prior but arrived at 6:30. the bartender was kind and gladly served us pre dinner drinks. we were sat promptly at 7 and had a nice waiter (didn t introduce himself so not sure of his name). the food was fantastic. service was good, but not over the top. they had live music that was wonderful and not too loud. the steak was perfect, as were the sides. salad was a bit underwhelming. we enjoyed our experience and will be back. i d say 4.2/5 parking: valet and free lot available

Absolutely delicious dinner and the best service. our waiter tyrone was excellent, and spent a lot of time with us on recommendations. you could tell he was passionate about the food which was so flavorful. so glad we stumbled upon this restaurant for our trip to fl. was a small little place inside but cozy and the dining experience was very worth it. i had the octopus appetizer and scallops entree and left not a morsel of anything on my plate! dietary restrictions: were knowledgeable and extremely accommodating of my dairy sensitivity.

Really nice dining experience overall. the atmosphere has ambient dark lighting with relaxing decor. the servers were very attentive and pleasant. the food was amazing, cooked to perfection and high-quality. we ordered the seafood tower, tuna/jasmine rice entree (the roasted sesameseeds on top added an extra crunch that was , steaks, spinach as a side and drinks. all of it was delicious and consistent.

Delicious food, including what might just be the best bread pudding ive ever tasted. the service was exceptional, thanks to jennifers amazing recommendations. a truly wonderful dining experience that comes highly recommended!

It s hard not to give this restaurant 5 stars! the service was amazing, the food delicious, and the atmosphere sublime. the only negative was the porterhouse steak being $250. i somehow was not expecting that. highly recommend the bone-in ribeye, asparagus, and waffle fries. the mushrooms were great as well. the ceviche was good and blue cheese wedge should not be ordered. yummy soft & warm garlic bread make sure to get the mezcal + orange drink! wheelchair accessibility: elevator to entrance

Our first time visiting this gem..and it wont be our last. our waiter pedro was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable regarding the menu. he guided us to the most amazing steak (im sure there are many others on the menu) the 16 oz. ny wagyu strip, which we shared. it was perfect, melted like butter in your mouth with every bite. scott, the manager, was also very helpful in securing an additional reservation for 8 on a very busy friday night later in the month. they have an outdoor seating area that is very pleasing and covered along with two bars to sit, one in and one out. the atmosphere is elegant with a side of sexy! i highly recommend you try.

We tried one of the best brazilian bbq buffet by the pound. nice place and very friendly service. they have very tasty beef ribs, picanha, sausages, hot food, salad bar, desserts, etc. must try. kid-friendliness: yes

The seafood, especially the lobster dishes are great. we also ordered steak and grouper for entree and it was good. the service was excellent. i wish the noise level was not so high. the tiled ceiling didnt help either

Tried the location in ny before the boca location opened. now that it s opened, me and my wife have been twice and love it just as much as the ny location. food is 5 stars, but so is the service. brian, cassie, and joe were a superstar team. couldn t have had a better team to be sure we had the best experience. it was my birthday, and they made sure to make it feel special.

We visited j. alexanders for late afternoon cocktails and appetizers. i really enjoyed the elegant and spacious ambiance. both the food and drink were superb, as was the service! our waitress even took the time to hand-write some of her best recommendations for our upcoming visit to key west.

Food and service is outstanding. julia, our server was fantastic. my wife and i bonded with her over a tragic event close to us that many are familiar with, but she is so down to earth and provided us outstanding service. she is able to accurately describe all menu items. michael, the restaurant manager is also fantastic. he came to our table to introduce himself as he did with all tables and really made this visit extra special for it being our first but not our last visit. there are no bad choices on the menu. can t wait to go back. thank you julia and michael for an amazing experience.

Since our anniversary and both our birthdays fall near each other, weve been celebrating in higher end restaurants. tonight was ruths chris. the food was wonderful and the service was the best weve ever had. michael, our waiter, was attentive to our every need. i ordered a sangria, which came in a huge wine glass, with fruit and a straw. im barely 5 feet and couldnt use the straw, it was too high :) incredibly, he cut a straw in half! thanks michael, you made my day.

One of the nicest, cleanest spots i ve been in around here in a while! food was delicious, service was excellent. andrea was our server and was very pleasant and helpful.

Had seen the reviews and decided to check it out ourselves. we went for happy hour and really enjoyed it. dennis, our bar tender was great. super helpful and efficient. his backup had not shown up so he was taking care of the entire bar area by himself. the decor is really lovely and we enjoyed the food, particularly the sliders and my husband loved the oysters

Authentic thai food and chef! we went back to chow thai on 441 and brought friends tonight. amazing food and great service again. highly recommended! i met the thai owner / chef and she was so sweet and appreciative. it s her and her daughters running the place for 13 years. it is 100% worth the drive from east boca! small family restaurant so reservations recommended on weekends.

Their garlic rolls are incredible! i never had such homemade garlic rolls served with their famous fornello s marinara sauce. and their shrimp scampi is delicious with super fresh jumbo shrimp sauteed with fresh garlic, red peppers, onions, and tomatoes and topped of course with fornellos scampi sauce. parking: free

This restaurant is a nice refreshing surprise. i went with my boys for lunch. the staff was attentive . the portions were generous. the taste was succulent. the prices reasonable. a combination that created the perfect lunch! they even substituted our plantains for broccoli and fries. wheelchair accessibility: easily accessible.

This the half way point for meeting my brother and dad, its close to the turnpike and the food is decent. the only drawback is the booth seats to be honest i cant sit in them for a long time, but that my own personal issue. other than that love this place.

Recently ventured to sumo sushi and the freshness and quality was superb. rudy the head chef, welcomed us and advised us of his favorite rolls and fresh selection of fish. although the waitress was inattentive, the chef picked up her slack and made the experience excellent. the hamachi was melt in your mouth fresh. the diablo roll, was also delicious with hot fresh tempera shrimp inside – we opted out of cream cheese, which should never be in sushi, who the hell made that trend?!! anyways, the ikura with quail egg was our dessert + a few more pieces of sashimi salmon and hamachi. again the quality was premium melt in your mouth fresh!! ordered delivery tonight with my wife and son, everything was delicious. highly recommended.

Exceptional dining experience. from start to finish the service, food & atmosphere is top notch. live music plays during dinner but not so loud that conversation is a challenge. we ordered apps for the table. all were delicious. no complaints with main dishes ranging from specials to regular menu items. all are served hot, fresh & beautifully plated. cant wait to return.

My wife and i came to houstons on account of her dads recommendation. i never would have expected such a great experience sitting at the bar enjoying two exceptional martinis and eating one of my new favourite cheeseburgers; a must visit if youre ever looking for some delicious american food.

Had a wonderful dinner with my sister. isa took fantastic care of us. she listened to our dietary restrictions and checked in on us as we dined. we enjoyed the sea bass and the roasted chicken. added on grilled shrimp, scallops and a lobster tail. also enjoyed the lobster bisque, crab cakes and stuffed mushrooms. had the vegan oatmeal cookie for dessert. the restaurant is very cozy and has lots of parking. looking forward to our next visit. dietary restrictions: they have a specific allergen friendly menu

Nice atmosphere, very small place with a few tables outside. food and service were excellent. and surprisingly, given its size, the background noise level was very comfortable. id take off a half a star, if 4.5 were allowed, because the red wine was served too warm. should be between 60 and 65 degrees. will definitely be back.

Great tasty clean and fresh burger. the chicken sandwich was pretty good. i would definitely go back. it is a little pricey for a burger joint but the burger tastes great and the smash sauce was good. highly recommend and very friendly service!

We were 5 so we got the chance to order a little bit of everything the place is incredible, the decor gives u a super nice vibe and we bought to take home a bunch of things (highly recommend the dulce de leche and the entrana meat) we ordered ruffle pizza, seafood pasta, sweet potato fries, a sushi dish that was very creative, the milanesas and finally the mushroom pasta. to finish this feast we ordered ice cream and our heart was very full. will definitely come back! can not recommend it enough.

The space is elegant and warm. it has lovely outside eating area with a serene view of water with a fountain in the middle. my wife and i sat at the bar. the bartender tatiana was very pleasant, friendly, and attentive. she made an exceptional old fashion and made excellent recommendations of what to try on the menu. we had the tuna tartar and baked bri for an appetizer! both were very yummy! then for main dishes we had the duck in plum sauce and the beluga house burger, both were excellent!! very nice lunch and the entire staff was friendly and warm. the manager was very nice and made sure everything was to our liking. we were extremely happy with the experience and will definitely be going again and often!!

Weve needed a kosher deli in boca. im so happy to see traditions here. the menu has my favorites too. the cedarhurst..pastrami, chopped liver with coleslaw on rye. the blumin onion is really to die for. and our traditions cobb salad was a nice mix of chicken and veggies. it came dressed. i asked for thousand island dressing after we were served. the food came out fast and good. out servers were attentive and we were sitting at one of the furthest tables. not fancy but omg good!!

I was there for my birthday, with about 12 others. sophia, our waitress was exceptional . she was very knowledgeable about the menu and specials. then, the best part, we met the owner george and his girlfriend who had taken a picture for our table before we realized who they were. completely salt of the earth folk… and the food is awesome, too.

We moved from ny to florida and havent been able to find a decent all you cant eat sushi buffet where they bring it to you as you order rather then it sitting out. this place was so good and the service was amazing, our server pricilla was such a sweetheart and super attentive and made our experience that much better. the only issue i had and the reason i gave the food a 4 was because i felt the selection was a little on the smaller side for a $39 price but i definitely recommend this place to any sushi lover.

We were invited by our peruvian friend to have dinner together here as she was so excited to find a peruvian restaurant in our neighborhood. i love its open space and the contemporary deco. it was packed when we arrived before 7pm. there were however plenty of seatings outside as well. everything was fresh and delicious starting from the drink my friend ordered for me, the appetizer, the main course to the desserts. i had the advantage of having a peruvian friend giving the right advice on what to order but the owner certainly knows what to offer since she is also a peruvian. we would definitely want to come back and try their sushi and rolls.

First time to maggie mcfly s and it exceeded the high expectations i had. the restaurant is beautiful and has great booths inside. we chose to sit outside. huge awning so there was shade. vanessa was our waitress and she was amazing. super friendly and very efficient. we started off with the coconut margaritas. i had heard so much about this drink and it was in fact amazing. coconut and caramel on the rim. so original! we shared the following appetizers: ahi tuna nachos with jalapenos. very good. coconut shrimp with pina colada sauce on the side. big shrimp great flavours and texture. the calamari was crunchy and delicious. good size portion. it was not too expensive. about 79$ for everything. highly recommended! kid-friendliness: yes wheelchair accessibility: ground level. big spaces to move in.

We landed in boca for a quick business trip that ended up becoming unexpectedly longer. tried out carmela s the first day, literally ended up getting eating brunch & dinner here every single day of our stay. we were here for 4 days, so we had a chance to sample quite a bit of the menu! the salads are varied & great- we had their kale salad, peach arugula, and boca berry- each was outstanding. the fish kebabs were unexpectedly delicious, as was the blackened salmon. the cheese spinach dip was to die for. the staff was super friendly and helpful, lent me a phone charger, helped us with our varied requests, in general just super sweet. i wish i knew the names of all our servers, they all did a great job with their recommendations. jj the server & head chef mike are the ones we did get to know by name- but really all were so helpful. looking forward to coming out here again!
