We opened in may 2011 in the historic chamberlain building which has housed auto dealerships going back to the early 1900s. we have a large photo mural when you walk in the door. the photo is from 1937 and shows pictures of the car showroom floor. this is where our main dining and cocktail lounge is today with much of the original facade. the street we are on is locust street which was referred to as auto row. this street used to house all of the car dealerships in town. we have a two-level dining room with views of the pappajohn sculpture garden located in downtown des moines.
