My husband made reservations here for my birthday. everything was perfect from the greeting we received upon entering the establishment to the service we received from our waiter, james mccoy. he was amazing. james was very personable from start to finish with dish recommendations and making sure we enjoyed what we ordered. i would definitely come back and ask for james.

Fantastic steakhouse. the service was phenomenal the servers answered our questions and were very professional. when we asked about how the lobster mash potatoes were made, the owner came out and explained the process to us. for the entree we ordered the tomahawk steak, which was cooked perfectly, and for a side, we chose the shareable lobster mash potatoes. the live piano player was a nice touch as well. great experience

As soon as we walked through the door we were pleased with the beauty and ambiance of austin s. we had a reservation at 5 and were seated right away. the chocolate martini was among the best that i ve had. i had the seafood grilled plate which was very good with a substantial portion of food. my fork went through the scallops like going through soft butter. my boyfriend s crab salad was filled with chunks of crab. there was no skimping with the amount of crab. chris was our server and was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. he was very attentive. this was our first time to eat at austin s and we are already talking about going back. this restaurant is on point in every way. keep doing what you re doing mr. ed. because it works.

Lexie, our server was very polite and kind so we were able to enjoy the meal. i ordered the texas t-bone steak. it was very tender and delicious.

This was such a pleasant meal for our vacation! the kitchen went above and beyond for our baby and split open a grill cheese to look like a pizza. our server jennifer was on top of our needs and riheem the manager came by to check on us. fantastic job all around. food to service! parking: so many front and back kid-friendliness: catered to a picky four year old within their means~

We were invited to dine with friends at brasa churrasqueria and were not certain what to expect. our server was great, explaining the cocktail offerings in detail. the menu was varied and the food was quite good. i am not experienced with brazilian cuisine, but the taste was great and everything we had was very good. i will definitely return to try some of the other offerings. vegetarian options: some non-meat choices dietary restrictions: staff will try to assist with restrictions you make them aware of parking: free parking lot out front kid-friendliness: more an adult environment wheelchair accessibility: fully accessible

Wonderful dining experience we had the surf and turf. the steak was like butta and the lobster was the best lobster ive ever had, hands down… even without the butter. the service was top notch, you can tell that attention to detail was a priority. everything was just amazing.

What a wonderful dining experience! my little princess and i dined on duck gumbo, raw oysters, crawfish meatball, mediterranean catch, fried oyster platter, onion rings, and lobster mac and cheese. the food was excellent as were the old fashioneds. service by collin was attentive as well. a short drive from downtown, but the better location and worth the drive. go early, or deal with a wait and parking issues. dont miss this wonderful restaurant!

We popped in here looking for a burger and a drink. the bartender was super nice and our food and drinks were good.

Made reservations for 12:30 but was late due to traffic. they were very accommodating. the service was very professional. food pricing was reasonable. everyone enjoyed the food. signature pasta w/salmon, bang bang shrimp, bang bang tacos, fish tacos and shrimp tacos. with and extra price i had shrimp added to my dish. had enough to bring home for dinner later. delicious!!

Great local italian place. brittany our server was knowledgeable and very friendly. the hot crab dip was the best. all of the food was fresh and delicious. we recommend this place for a great time. also the poker machines paid out when we played.

Our food was fantastic! these thai ribs never disappoint. they were fresh and tender. we loved our dishes. the bread pudding was fantastic as well!

Went here for the first time because my friends said their omakase is worth the price. sat at the sushi bar and ordered carpaccio, 6 pieces of omakase, and ordered more nigiri throughout the night. it was definitely everything my friends said and more! quality of the food is fresh and delicious. service was relatively decent especially with how busy they were! waitress was attentive, and sushi chef kept making the rolls at a steady pace. i thoroughly enjoyed it and decided to return another night to eat the carpaccio and 8 piece omakase. the carpaccio did increase from my first visit of $18.50 to $19.50 on my second visit, but with things increasing, it s understandable. i believe 6 pieces of omakase is $40 and 8 pieces is $50. i hope to return and try their hibachi because i also heard great things about it. but their omakase is definitely reasonably priced! highly recommend sushi chef akashi and the following nigiri: raw sweet prawn, amberjack (kampachi), scallop, and halibut!!

Been going here for many years. metairie staple. great fried seafood, gumbo, and excellent charbroiled oysters. i ve never had a bad meal here; they have all the basics – includes gumbo, red beans & rice, po-boys, grilled dishes, etc. service is always good – even when they are crowded. had a minor gripe today, they brought me my red beans about 10-15 minutes before my girlfriend got her oysters. i don t eat until everyone is served, so my beans and fish were cold when we could eat. so, they need to be more mindful of that because what would have been an amazing meal for me was a cool/lukewarm plate of food atmosphere is very nice! always crowded, well lit (no fluorescent lighting! thank you!), and friendly. we ll keep going here but if the meals are served 15 minutes apart again, i ll let the manager know. please try not to do that, acme. thanks.

Have been there twice now, their spinach dip is amazing. first time had prime rib, which was great and 2nd was their pasta, dont remember which, pasta was mid. their chibatta bread that comes with the pasta was amazing, fresh and buttery. food

Very good experience! the meatballs were delicious, and you have to dip your bread in the red sauce! i ordered a sangria and they made it with rum and i don t like rum and they kindly change it for me, not any restaurant does that so for that 10/10 service! also ordered spaghetti bolognese and shrimp pesto and both pastas were delicious! you want a good pasta? come to this place overall everyone had a beautiful personality so service was amazing and food amazing too, 100% recommended!

This was my first time at mr eds in bucktown. fortunately we arrived before the dinner crowd and were able to get a table right away. by the time we left the place was getting packed. our waitress was a little distracted, even before the crowds came so dont know what that was about but we all have a bad day. i ordered the stuffed bell peppers and although they werent huge in size… man were they stuffed to the gills with tasty seafood. these were not stuffed peppers mostly with breading. definitely plan on stopping again next time im in new orleans to try their chicken liver dinners, one of my favorites and very hard to find.

07mar24 ~ my first time there with a friend on his recommendation. good food, great waitress, good casual atmosphere. we both left full & happy with the experience. thank you. plenty of free parking in front of & on the side of the building. a very pleasant & family friendly atmosphere due to a most pleasant staff and the wall placards. i ordered the western omelet & my friend ordered the trio. we both cleaned out plates leaving us satisfied with both the quantity & quality of our meals. our waitress, trish, was nothing short of outstanding. genuinely pleasant and engaging, she always seemed to know when to come by, not too often & not to infrequent. thank you tic toc! parking: there is ample free parking in front of the store, facing causeway blvd., & on the side of the building. kid-friendliness: family atmosphere great for kids and good parents!

Food and service here are top notch! ordered the deep fried gator bites, chicken & andouille gumbo, grilled catfish and the white chocolate bread pudding everything tasted amazing! my server derone was really lovely and even gave me a long list of recommended restaurants to try which had non-seafood options on the menu. i ve heard this place was good from others, and i do have to recommend it myself.

We were searching for breakfast on new years day and this was one of the few places listed as open…from the outside it doesnt look like much but from the inside it was warm, inviting, great service, great people,lovely decor, large portions, delicious food and a good variety. the homemade biscuits were some of the best ive ever had! parking: there is parking in front and around back..im not sure if there was additional parking or where to park on the street..it seems like a popular place..i imagine so since the food was so good and when we arrived we got what appeared to be the last spot.

A little gem of a restaurant that is tucked away on a side street, but its definitely worth seeking out. the food is above average new orleans style italian fare. they offer a multi course option as well that is filling and the staff is very helpful and attentive.

In town from texas , this place did not disappoint . the waitress stephanie was amazing she did get real busy towards the end but made sure we were still taken care of ! definitely will come back again . seafood boil was so yummy

The burgers were so good! they remind me of homemade burgers on the grill. customized just how you want it. we enjoyed our meal sitting in the food court at the lakeside mall people watching and it was great. highly recommend!

Best seafood in new orleans hands down . also tons of interesting specials that are definitely worth trying – especially the royal red shrimp coconut donuts ! also the chicken wings had an excellent smoke . best and cleanest crawfish in town , and best seasoning .

Never expected to have legit greek food in the suburbs of louisiana. the service was also really good, my water was never empty. the food was tasty. we loved the gyro and the grape leaves . food came out fast. when we arrived at 4pm there was only 1 table but within 30 minutes the dining room was full of people.

I wanted to wait for the right time to acknowledge carrabbas italian grill -metairie. i called to arrange a special lunch date with nicole kay hurley (leopard print dress ) because she said it was her favorite restaurant and we wanted her to enjoy her final moments in a joyous way. nicole gained her wings on christmas day and i just wanted to thank the entire staff at carrabba s on 10/21/2023 that made our final outing together as special as possible . from management to the host , everyone on that shift made her feel honored and loved. thank you all.

Pure honey of a place nestled into the heart of old metairie! our neighbor suggested the burgers, she likes the quality of the beef. it is true the ingredients are quality selections and the recipes quite delicious. each dish is well thought out and the locals all crave the friendly service. one of the few old school restaurants that doesn t show its age and has stayed in the hearts of the locals for good reason.

My family has been a big fan of walk ons but we never really go to the metairie location due to us not living in metairie. service was great from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. i have to say having sandra as our waitress was definitely the highlight of our dining in experience. my daughter ended up having an accident and sandra was quick to help us in any way. she checked in on us to make sure we were okay and even made sure multiple times that our daughter was good. thank you to sandra for being amazing! also, the food was amazing so props to the chefs!

This place brings the flavor! like the menu says, go big or stay home! the almasgoof fish was well seasoned and the texture was spot on. the rice had a nice spice to it to make it interesting and i loved their hot sauce with a good mix of heat and acidity. the lentil soup was well seasoned and fun as well. will definitely be returning when i m in the area!
