Friendly family owned restaurant. service is good and food is good. when you ask for crispy bacon, they are on-point. service is above par and have a good variety of dishes to choose from. i highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

There are 10 daily specials all under $10 with enough food for two people! it is authentic, no frills, mexican food and there is a huge choice from a la carte to combination meals. stop in for lunch, you wont be disappointed.

Great tasting food and wonderful customer service! this is a really nice place to stop for lunch even if you are short on time. we were in a hurry, and they were very accommodating. the food came up very quickly – loved the tuna and egg salad – so yummy! we ve been here frequently and have never feel rushed while we are eating. every hostess we have had has been friendly. people even drive their golf carts to this location! definitely a fun place to try!

First time here. felt comfortable breakfast inexpensive. excellent food. husband and i will differently come again.

Had the italiano sandwich with fries and husband had the cheeseburger. both were fresh and cooked to perfection. the meat on both was high quality. tasted great! the restaurant is a darker establishment but the ceiling is high enough and the lighting along the perimeter walls was enough to make it feel cozy. ill put it this way….. i could read the menu without a flashlight. lol! service was great and the restaurant was clean along with the restrooms! oh! we went for lunch and our meals were $10 each. fantastic food for a great price. thank you dominics!! well be back!

This is an update based on an oct. 2023 visit which involved food i hadnt tried before. our server was attentive and didnt even flinch when i had to call her back since i decided i wanted the greek side salad rather than the house salad since i really like the olives. my friends tortilla salad looked very appealing and he finished up every crisp bit of the edible tortilla bowl–he didnt want the meat that came with it as hes a vegetarian so they gave extra veggies instead which was a nice accommodation. it was mx night and the special was the ribs which came with rice, refried beans topped with cheese, and tortilla chips and salsa: i had to lick my fingers from the zippy but not overly so sauce that covered the succulent ribs that slid off the bone. the chicken shawarma, rice, and vegetables were as tasty as always. i prefer sitting outside than in the close quarters inside, but we came early and it wasnt completely crammed so it was cozy and pleasant. they have daily specials and they are themed like mx or italian, but youll never know what they will be unless you call or read the chalkboard first, but they are creative and a good deal. remember to round out your meal with some beer, mostly bottled, but some on tap, or wine. ————————- schnitzel! spaetzle! and potato pancakes, mushroom cream sauce, and applesauce. its german night at sunset bistro and things couldnt be better. the first time i went for it a couple of months ago, they didnt serve applesauce and the spaetzle was waterlogged; however, this time the applesauce was there and the spaetzle was lightly pan finished in butter. and look at the size of the jager schnitzel! amber bock on tap added to the experience and you can dine in or out on the little patio (but since it is a small area with walls on 2 sides, if there are smokers out there your al fresco experience will be marred by stagnant smoke). caution: german night is only on tuesdays, so plan ahead. its also not well advertised so we had to ask for the special menu and they didnt have beef rolladin since server said they had too much left over the last time they made it–well geez, tell people its german night and hand them the menu so theyll know whats available! put the info on the chalkboard and talk up this special night: its something to be proud of! below is my older review which was for a totally different meal–wanted to put the above separately but seems they only allow updates. anyway, the fish meal experience was a 3 star experience compared to german nights 5 star : the walleye was succulent within its light battered crust, although at $2.50 more than the cod, it could have been larger, and ive had the cod before and liked it as much, id probably go cod again next time since once you deep fry a white fish, its hard to tell much difference. fries okay, but obviously not in-house and the chicken tenders not as good as in a previous visit. have they changed suppliers? didnt have the texture of pure whole white meat chicken like friend remembered from before. glad they have a few tap beers and not just the lites, so order a full pitcher for the best savings.nice to have al fresco dining option, especially since although it just faces a parking lot at least there isnt traffic roar like so many ill-placed restaurants have. however, because its so small it is hard to avoid smoke if others are lighting up so check your location and wind direction if you dont enjoy breathing other peoples smoke while dining. also, the metal chairs are tough on the rump so bring a cushion if you intend to linger. vegetarian options: if something has meat like the tortilla salad, you can ask for extra veggies instead

We had not expected to find this authentic italian gem ! i had gone to the center for something else with my dad and sister, we were hungry and i saw the sign so we walked over. the outdoor patio was inviting, the menu on the outside near the front door called out to me!! we went inside and wow. the atmosphere was homey yet elegant, with music in the air. the meatball appetizer was impressive and delicious. the house salad was fresh! the shrimp scampi with linguine perfectly made and plated picturesque. top notch guys !! sister and dad hadnt had italian like this, and it was more than i had anticipated. thank you for a wonderful dinner

A worker named sapphire was amazing . she s young yet was working all alone . made 9 footlong sandwiches when she first arrived to open . there were no cups stocked fit her shift , 2 of the soda machine options were out , things were not where they should be lids for salads etc . she not only took my order but she ran in back and refilled the soda machine, so i could have soda . ran in back again to look for foil to replace lid for salad , couldn t find so used paper over the top wth a subway sticker . she has amazing problem solving skills and works very hard with very little complaining. she deserves a wage increase and a promotion. also the manager is not over seeing the night crew and making sure they stock everything. sapphire is a great employee

Take out only, but boy their food will take you out. the crab angels are out of this world. the egg rolls were perfectly balanced with crunch and a fullfilling juicy interior. i got the singapore mai fun… its so full of flavor i ended up eating all of it and its a large portion.
