Cocktails were terrific! best irish coffee! the bartender sean was great, friendly and paid attention to detail when mixing up his drinks! chocolate bundt cake dessert was also fab! highly recommend.

We hadn t been to cottonwood since before the pandemic. i d heard it had struggled but it is definitely up to prior standards. the brussel sprouts were a delightful surprise, sweet and cooked with apples and bacon. i had the ginger carrot soup which was strong on the ginger, my husband had the french onion soup which was really good and not too cheesy. my salmon was so big i almost couldn t finish it- all the portions were large but this was the largest cut of fish i ve ever had in a restaurant. it was perfectly cooked and had a really nice seasoning. my husband had the short ribs, also a good size portion, and he said it just melted in his mouth. if you haven t been, cottonwood sits on the old town hill by the hilltop sign and at night you over look old town truckee, all lit up. it s a great view, very chill atmosphere and great food. good wine list too! vegetarian options: not a lot of vegetarian options, but there were a couple including the meat loaf.

We had a great time at moodys! we sat in the bar area to watch sunday football – really fun, inviting, and cozy kind of atmosphere. our service was excellent and attentive. we ordered the special (not on menu) 13oz wagyu ribeye, medium rare, it had a variety of veggies with a glaze, on top of a tomato puree with blackberries. i wish i knew the exact description of the dish, because it was beautiful and delicious – sorry! we also ordered the truffle deviled eggs, truffle & parmesean fries (to-go), and the bourbon vanilla bean creme brulee. everything was amazing. absolutely recommend, will definitely be back!

Exceptional! we made reservations for my boyfriend s birthday. we got the price fixe menu and the wine pairings. every single dish was fantastic and we learned a ton about the wine we were tasting. wine pairing = 2.5-3 glasses of wine matched with the courses you choose. i wish there would have been more california wines on the menu (i m biased!) but the wine did not disappoint. price fixe menu = four choices with two special treats from the chef. exceptional flavors and presentation. there were at least five different wait staff we interacted with, and the host, all lovely and helpful. total cost of the meal including tip and tax came to $635.00 for the two of us. we spent about 2.5 hours dining at trokay and most of the next day talking about it. highly recommend for a special occasion.

Wonderful dining experience for the entire family. large menu with traditional american dishes to californian fusion dishes. comprehensive wine list and interesting cocktail selections. fast and friendly service in a lodge-like atmosphere that helps to enhance the overall experience.

Our first visit and the food and the service were excellent. the bbq sample platter had a very, very generous portion of meats and ribs. all of the food was great including the soup of the day – cream of potato. however, the star of evening was the great service by the bartender (we ate at the bar.) sarah was very attendant and helpful and helped rescue my wifes white shirt after she dropped bbq sauce on it. sarah got us club soda and a cloth towel to help get the sauce off the shirt and after we got home and washed it, the shirt is fine. thanks sarah! we will definitely return to 1882 bar & grill.

Dont let the strip retail center vibe fool you. this place is pretty good! you seat yourself. the waitress usually comes to greet you within a couple minutes. there are a million tvs with every kind of sport showing. you literally cant go wrong with wings, burgers or pizza. i had the jalisco cheesesteak this last time and it was delicious.

Had a really good dinner here last tonight. recommend the marsala and the ravioli. those were two stand out dishes. the caprese salad was also excellent. we were not a fan of the bruschetta. when we are back in town we would definitely come back.

This ritz carlton is very different from the one in beaver creek. very quiet, family oriented, and not much is happening apres-ski. the good, you have the whole bar to yourself until the dinner crowd kicks in. an awesome spot to wait out the traffic and casual chat with the argentinian staff. drinks are good and the chili is worth the money when compared to the others in the resort. they also have a mini buffet for kids. i wish i was one, but i wouldnt be able to enjoy the vesper nor 1493, and its worth it! the bad, the reason its quiet is because the location is rather hidden. not near the base of any chairlift. you can only access either via the beginner lift or the gondola to get there. the ugly, price is $$$$$$$. you will need to be able to stomach the price to fill your stomach!

Sarah was lovely! we had a late lunch. we sat outside with our puppy. we have two pizzas and beers. nice spot to people watch. parking in the area is packed but we found a spot on the second time driving through the main street.

Great place and great staff. the menu was amazing… i wanted to try all the different meats, it all looked so delicious. i got the fried pickles and the angus blue burger. it was juicy, cooked perfectly as ordered.. medium rare… the bun was good quality too. and the blues music was the perfect atmosphere.

This place has the best burgers. the 1lb stuffed blue cheese and garlic burger was super delicious. the fries that came with it were well made as well. will definitely be back for the burgers. i saw a few people order the pot pie as well which looked really good. i will have to try it next time as well. this place has a nice old school diner feel.

What a terrific experience. i was immediately welcomed and chose to sit at the bar. looking around it became apparent the margaritas were popular. upon looking at the menu i also realized i should partake in the taco tuesday special. within minutes i was engaged in conversation with fellow patrons to my right and left, the karaoke machine was blasting songs and the entire bar was singing led by the bartender. i left the evening having filled my stomach with delicious tacos and savory margaritas, i had a handful of new friends in many belly laughs to show for it.

Me and my friend came for dinner and were super impressed. service was great, menu well designed, not very crowded. manager was very accommodating and recommended excellent white wine which paired well with our food. we also came in the the next day for brunch. delicious coffee and french toast!!

Ok the food. we loved the sushi, the flavors were bright and fresh and the temperature was perfect, it was a whole experience in my mouth. i m particularly fond of a temperature gradient when it comes to sushi, so one of the rolls we had was a tempura style roll, it was warm and perfectly crispy on the outside but the innards and fish were still very cold it was awesome, i love that!! this might seem a weird compliment but the miso soup was also way above your standard sushi joint miso soup, it was much more rich and hearty i m actually still thinking about it. will definitely come back on our next trip!

Fantastic. first of all… mustache pretzel. how can you not order that. also it tastes great. also mona recommended the bison burger and also mentioned they sell out and they only had 7 left. i ordered it immediately and it was phenomenal. right after we ordered we saw like 10 more people walk up and ask for one. mona and katie were both super friendly and efficient even though they were slammed when we first came in.

Food was great here. despite everything closed at the northstar resort found this place. burritos were good. and the tri tip quesadilla was amazing must try. when your out here.

I love this restaurant for lunch. its reasonably priced, great portion size, and so delicious. the people are really nice, too. even when i got a wrong order, it was yummy, and they were willing to replace it. i just didnt want to walk over there in the cold again. i recommend this place to everyone who asks about good lunch restaurants in the area around my office.

The schedule was full and i went to the restaurant very late. still warmly received our group of 6 people. at the end of the meal, we were the only guests left. the service staff still thoughtfully told us to enjoy our dinner slowly.

Great family owned place for breakfast and lunch. the atmosphere is very warm and inviting and the staff is great! the traditional eggs benedict are my favorite, i believe theyre the best ive had :) the french toast is also very tasty. we will be coming back again!

Super good and fantastic staff! the cheese bread was so good. the cheese crackers things were just as delicious. i had the elevated margarita and it was so good, not to sweet! our server was busy but so attentive. we actually walked right in at lunch time but i would bet normally you need a reservation. you do have to park far away and there are shuttles to ride back and forth.

This place was very good! its a walk up and order kind of spot, reasonably priced, with some interesting things on the menu. the prices listed on their menu are just for the burger, but its only a couple extra bucks to make it a combo. good portion sizes; the regular order of fries, which i got, was massive and they also offer a large! i got the nv elk burger which had a flavorful and juicy patty, thick slice of swiss cheese, and fatty slices of bacon. the fries were large, fluffy piping hot, and well seasoned. very satisfying. it was super crowded; definitely not enough tables for the number of patrons when we went. it wasnt super clean either, though the crowd and rush appeared to be the reason why. would definitely come back here.

This was the perfect place to stop for lunch and a drink. we got the burger and grilled cheese with tomato bisque plus a 50/50 beer and the fizzle dance (gin fizz). everything was yummy (except the beer was okay)! there wasnt much seating so dont think id want to do dinner here but worked well for lunch. i think they have other seating areas open during lunch though. staff was friendly. overall great place to stop in for a delicious quick bite.

Awesome sushi bar with great atmosphere. service was fast and while restaurant was full ,dishes came surprisingly fast. better than anything was the food. amazing flavors and well crafted dishes. food : 5/5
