Beacon hill review – very nice spot! beautiful inside! cozy yet upscale and not too dark. we had a great experience all around – food was nicely plated, hot, and tasty. we tried the bone marrow – highly recommend! the filet was my main and was cooked perfectly. the mash potatoes were very good, not impressed by the french fries. worth a visit for sure!

I came here solely for the warm chocolate chip skillet cookie because i saw it on a list of must-try desserts in boston. i appreciate that it was available for take-out, but i was a little skeptical as to how well it would transfer. the dessert wasnt available for pick-up until 20 minutes after the initial eta, but the pick-up process was smooth. parking in this area was difficult, though, so i suggest going with someone who can go in to grab the order. the inside of the restaurant looked fancy and large from what i was able to see. the cookie, vanilla ice cream, pecans, and chocolate sauce were all individually packaged, which was nice. based on pictures, i think i got more chocolate sauce than i would have gotten had i dined in. the ice cream did mostly melt by the time i got home, but it basically became a vanilla sauce, which i wasnt mad about because it tasted pretty good like that. the cookie was very good: crunchy all along the circumference but with a gooey, soft, chocolate-y center. as heavy as the dessert looks, it was surprisingly not as sweet as i thought it would be (it definitely was sweet, though, dont get me wrong–just not overwhelmingly sweet). this is partially because the ice cream was more toned down and helped to balance the sweetness. the chocolate sauce was also dark. there was a good amount of pecans, which added a nice, nutty crunch. overall, it was a delicious dessert, did well as a take-out order, and was a solid deal at only $14. i recommend trying it!

I want to acknowledge the amazing service from vinny our waiter and all the staff on 12/12/23. we live in ny and went to boston to spend some quality time as a couple and decided to give a try to this amazing restaurant! let s start by the gracious host at the door. i made a mistake in the reservation and he took the time to accommodate us in an amazing table ! i ve worked customer service all my life and currently i work the restaurant industry and i ve never encounter such a gracious,smart,funny and educated server as vinny! he elevated our experience ! shoutout to the bussers,runners and bartenders! it is a bit expensive but it s totally worth the money! this place deserve a 10000/10 !

We went here for an appetizer before going to the boston tea party museum.oh man it was some amazing shrimp appetizer…some of the biggest shrimp i have ever seen. the bartender was super nice and helpful i wish i remembered his name . fun place great food

Beyond 5 stars my family and i went on christmas day for dinner and w o w! phenomenal service from tim, our waiter for the evening and andrew, the general manager. we can t say enough about how amazing the food and service was. from the drinks, to the appetizers, to the main meal and dessert fabulous!!!!! you have got to go for dinner or lunch asap!

First fine dining experience in a while. service was impeccable and very detailed. from the change of plates, to the utensils to the drinks, everything was meticulously thought out and beautifully executed. price was a little pricey but the food was melt in the mouth and amazing. the desserts were soo delicious and not very sweet. the oysters were a decent size but for $4 each was it worth it? maybe for the experience. the pork was the best thing and all sides are extra. spent $176 without drinks and tip and this was all for a discount doing the dine out boston week. still a great deal and i love the vibes of a busy but organized restaurant!!! i would definitely come back! parking: we took an uber but there was valet parking available for a fee. wasn t too expensive either.

The service, ambience and the tomahawk steak were amazing! there are only about five tables and service feels personal. the cocktails are also quite good! we werent blown away by the duck fat roasted potatoes or the beignets, however this wouldnt stop us from visiting again when in boston!

First time here loved the pop overs loved our waitress (wish i asked her name) loved the bavette steak (def a better structure compared to my friends steak) great fresh fries also huge portion of arugula salad the oxtail croquettes were not my favorite as i found them to be too dry for me personally the portions was too big please consider a 6 ounce steak for the menu and both the steak and fries had way too much salt but seems a systemic issue in the us

Amazing food and excellent customer service. we had steak and surf and turf and both were super delicious. i would recommend the venue for both business and romantic occasions.

So peaceful! the food just kept coming and i was never waiting on anything. the best thing the honey cheddar. so good! mauro was so accommodating and even brought out a birthday dessert! so sweet!
