My wife and i weren t that hungry but we decided to try somewhere new, mama s place had some great hamburgers. they were only $5.38 that ended up being probably one of the top three hamburgers i ve ever had in my entire life, and their candied yams, well, they were the best i ve ever had in my life and my wife said it was just like her grandmothers, it been forever since you ve had some like that. we will be back and look forward to trying everything on the menu here!!!!

A very pleasant surprise! i saw there sign as i was driving by and decent to stop for lunch on my way back through. i walk in and was promptly seated. our waitress was very friendly and quick to serve our drinks. after a bit of debate i settled on fish and chips. my company ordered the garlic steak sandwich. the fish was very tasty with an excellent crunch on the outside. the chips were tasty also. great portions sizes, definitely expect to take some left overs home. i ll definitely be back!

Stumbled upon this gem coming in from wi for a golf trip. absolutely excellent. massive football burrito for their lunch special. steak was outstanding. cheese sauce on top was phenomenal. great service. huge place decorated real nice. highly recommend!

I had the pleasure of chatting with mrs. hattie marie today while i waited on my food. it was one to the best talks that i have had in a very long time. i reminisced of times when we would sit around the table talking with my grandmother. just being in her presence made me feel loved, welcomed, and home. the atmosphere was very inviting. as i sat there, talking and watching, mrs hattie greeted everyone who came through the door. people from every walk of life. she spoke and waved like she knew all that entered her establishment. her staff takes pride in the way that they greet and communicate with customers, their appearance was neat and presentable, and most of all they looked as tho they were all estatic to be at work. (nowadays, thats not always the case). i ordered 2 dinners ( one for me and one for dad), and we both had enough for leftovers! the smells emitting from the kitchen were heavenly, the food was absolutely amazing, and the portions were very gracious! i highly recommend visiting hattie maries. hopefully, you will get a chance to meet such a remarkable young lady! sn: i overheard mrs. hattie telling another customer that remarked, ill see ya next sunday. mrs. hatties response was, no, we will be closed, they (the employees) need a break. [ next sunday is easter sunday] i gained so much more respect for her in that moment. its not always making money its also important to value your employees. now i understand why they all look so happy .

The old porkys is back! we got a pizza and some other stuff last night that was so good we had to call and ask what was different. highly recommend again. locals will recognize the great dough and taste. support porkys. buy local.

I am such a big fan of wendys. wendys has one of the best burgers in the u.s.a. and their fries are no slouch either. they have one of the best menus in the country and their prices are as reasonable as any food establishment.
