Old school place that does it right. i had the bbq brisket sandwich and it was perfect. competition caliber brisket, would highly recommend. service was good, food was ready quickly. limited hours but worth making the effort to fit it in your schedule!

Service started out a little mediocre. we found out it was his 1st day working on his own and by the end of our service, he was doing great. there was a gentleman that came and sat at the bar near us and smelled like he poured a bottle of cologne on. the hostess gladly moved us to another table. the food was delicious! had the brushetta to start and center cut sirloin and delmonico. they were cooked perfectly and tasted wonderful!

Came in this week for a company christmas party this week. my first time here…. food was great. appetizers. pizza, chicken shawarma, stuffed mushrooms, charcuterie board, etc. everything tasted great. our server was wonderful. actually, the entire staff was great. nice spot. definitely have to return for dinner.

I have absolutely no complaints about this place. we went on a whim. upon walking into this place, you smell the it leads the way. we sat indoors since it was a bit cool, but the food wouldve heated us up quickly cause we dove in immediately! the pita chips that some with the spinach artichoke dip are amazing. fresh! crispy! theyre the best ive ever had. the spinach artichoke dip was very chunky. not the way i prefer it, but it was still good. the bbq pulled pork was finely shredded. i get so tired of getting chunky pulled pork when i order it, so it was very nice to have it shredded to my liking. fyi, i did not ask that they do it. the sauce was so-so, but it didnt take away from it being good. the ribs literally melted in your mouth. they didnt give you that fresh off the grill or smoker kind of feel but still top-notch. my friend got the brisket & said it was by far the best she has ever had. the cole slaw is homemade and delicious. cole slaw is very subjective because everyone has their own take, but #winning. the fries were great. and they give a hefty amount of everything. the pizza looked amazing. it will definitely be ordered next time. long story short, i will return.

Yo this place slaps! came from columbus to check this place out after visiting the cleveland museum of art. well worth the drive. we went on a monday around 3pm and service was quick and efficient. the food was great. def a place to return for a meal.

Ordered the papo s combo and it was really delicious, a not to a huge portion of food. the roast pork and meat pies were great. also want to mention that the staff was very nice and accommodating!

I have had many burgers in my life and made some phenomenal ones myself. this place, however, topped my expectations. i had the jalapeno burger. what an amazing place!!! dont judge it by the outside appearance.

Fantastic food and service. i highly recommend the cajun seafood boil. its a huge portion and good variety for anyone who enjoys a mixed seafood dish. they have a nice selection of beers on tap and good bar. appetizers are great and parking is easy. theres a nice outdoor section for when the weather is decent.

The atmosphere, service, and food are wonderful here. its a chill, upscale restaurant with a diverse menu and tasty food. the staff is attentive and friendly. the food is delicious; i recommend any steak and the mashed potatoes. good vibes with private booths and tables, light music playing in the background. the menu is a bit pricey, but a perfectly cooked quality steak is what i was served. will be back!

Astoria cafe & market is for sure a cleveland must try. the service was quick and welcoming and the atmosphere was very relaxed. i ordered a variation of lamb tacos, and baklava for dessert. both items were a complete 5/5. the lamb tacos were filled with flavor and perfectly executed. the baklava was the best i have had in my life. i cry now that i must return home, but have saved this spot on my list of goated foods.

Absolutely amazing experience. the food was amazing and they had such a wide variety of sauces and add-ons for your meats. the staff were all attentive and kind. the hostess was very kind and everyone wished me a happy birthday. the menu was tailored for a birthday celebration and i was offered a free dessert at the end of our meals. the food came out fast and hot. the sides were shareable which we didnt realize so we ended up with so much food . the restaurant was nice and quiet and everyone seemed to enjoy their time there. the restaurant itself was beautiful and well decorated. valet was super nice and was $20 to park. we will definitely be back for future celebrations.

We came for just a few glasses of wine and some appetizers before doing dinner elsewhere and were immediately greeted warmly. we got fried brussel sprouts and fries for apps and they were so good and the vibe was so cozy we switched to getting dinner at the place! it was super tasty, well made food, and the wine was excellent and very reasonably priced. we are huge fans and will be back!!!

We stumbled upon this place by accident. uncle scott (the host) was so inviting, personable and upbeat! his smile is contagious! the brunch food is absolutely delicious! we had the cheddar chive biscuits & gravy and brunch burger! the outside atmosphere was excellent! the only reason i gave 3 stars for atmosphere is due to the upstairs bathroom; the only negative was the upstairs bathroom decor. if i would have saw it before we got our food, we likely would have left. i realize it ties to the name of the venue; however, it was vulgar and satanic. i am curious as to the history behind the restaurant name.

The service was very good, and the food was even better. it was hands down the best 16 oz ribeye id ever had. the portions of sides are also tremendous. we would definitely recommend red steakhouse!

New favorite mexican spot the food is top notch & service is great! we ve been here two time in the past two months and both times have been amazing! fantastic and quick service, great cocktails and an awesome happy hour. love the ambience, music and vibes here!!! can t go wrong with their entrees & tacos are great recommend the chicken chipotle!

Stopping in ohio for the weekend and was craving bbq. this place was incredible! as soon as you walk in you can tell it s going to be good! the staff was wonderful! everything we ate was heavenly! we shared the cornbread appetizer with the honey butter. for the main course i had the 1/3 lb brisket, the 50/50 sauce, mac and cheese. the brisket was so tender it just fell right apart in the best way! my partner had the full rack of ribs and the belgian fries. all of it was so wonderful we wished we lived closer! anytime you are in cleveland this place is a must stop!

I had a delightful experience at this restaurant! the atmosphere was modern with great seating, creating a pleasant dining environment. the aloo gobi and paneer tikka masala with butter naan were incredibly flavorful. the aloo gobi tasted like home cooked food, which i really enjoyed. the hostess amulya was very pleasant and very attentive, adding to the overall positive dining experience. i highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning. vegetarian options: panner tikka masala mali kofta aloo gobi panner makni and more parking: street parallel parking.

Great sunday special with chicken pesto. also, the waitress was spectacular even with being the only server.

The restaurant is a small, cozy place to enjoy quality homemade italian dishes!! had dinner with my friends at brunos for the first time and enjoyed every bite!! portions are generous and food was delicious. staff were pleasant and attentive. my only complaint is that i wish it was larger. reservations are recommended.

Crazy creations and delicious dogs! macaroni and fruit loops or pineapple and eggs?!? well those are just a few of the combinations possible on there seemingly endless amounts of mix and match options. two of our favorites from our visit were the pulled pork hot dog with coleslaw, pineapple, bbq and honey mustard and other toppings to recreate one of there recommended hot dogs. we also were really surprised by just how good a fresh egg could taste on top of our bacon and cheese packed breakfast themed hotdog with alien relish. happy dog also offers a great beer selection both canned and draft. micro brews to old school brands you just don t see much anymore it was a fun list to pick from. while an acquired taste the cranberry tart they had on draft was sour but delicious. the staff was friendly and helpful too. i can t wait to return and maybe hopefully even catch some live music. if there isn t a band well at least i know there will be pinball! vegetarian options: vegetarian and vegan options both available kid-friendliness: we went around 4:30 and it was still a very friendly vibe with several different families dining. as the night goes on though it definitely seems like they will attract a more adult crowd.

Hosted a bridal shower for ~20 people. brian & the team were amazing and so accommodating – brought everyone drinks as they needed refilled, let us bring in flowers / our own desserts. the food was a huge hit with all of the guests. everything was perfect!!!

I love this place for the fact alone that the server dared to have a tattoo of a cross on her neck. this is going to be my new lunch place! update: ngl…i left the above review as sarcasm to another review, before i ever tried their food. but after visiting…. amazing! the rodeo burger was delicious and the ladies at the counter were awesome and courteous! i will definitely be a repeat customer!

Have gotten lunch here 6 or so times. every time the food is hot and delicious, not too greasy, and no grill char. they have great staff here which you don t see often with chain restaurants. they are friendly, quick, and keep the dining area clean.

Food here was excellent. we had the truffle sacchetti and the mushroom polenta as appetizers which were delicious. main dishes including the cavalli, gnocchi and risotto were also very well done. you can get two half orders if you want to try a couple things. the service was excellent. waters and wines never hit the bottom … until our bottle was done. btw plenty of parking in the back and you dont need to valet. parking: large parking lot in the back

Talk about an incredible meal! from the moment we walked in the door we felt a truly warm and inviting welcome and could just tell it was going to be good. while the interior of the restaurant sports an old leopard print carpet and a bit of an old school mobster vibe, you are truly treated like family and provided with fantastic service and delicious, huge portioned dishes. pricing is very reasonable considering how large and delicious the entrees are and the specials can t be beat! we certainly cannot wait to be back.

I ve been to several charley s locations, and this is definitely one of the better ones. nice, updated location conveniently located in tower city center. easy to access via any of the rapid lines. sandwich and lemonade were good as always.

Excellent customer service, multiple staff kept checking in on us throughout the meal. our server was a tad bit odd, had to flag him down a couple times as he wasn t checking in with our table but none the less service was impeccable and the food was so good, talk about food coma. perfect setting for any occasion! we ordered the lobster bisque, which was nice, hot and delicious full of lots of flavor. and then the surf and turf was perfect, amazing. we also ordered the crab mac and cheese, however this dish is very very heavy on the stomach. very good but will fill you up quickly if you don t eat strategically! and then we had a birthday in our party, the birthday creme brulee was okay, nothing to personally rave about though. felt the flavor was off. this restaurant is beautiful inside and out!

We live in the area but never stopped at johnnys and wow were we impressed! the atmosphere was so cozy and relaxing. the food was incredible and the service exceptional! we will definitely be back. and the best manhattan ive ever had!

It was our first dinner in cleveland. the place is so classy, decor and atmosphere. service was very good and attentive. they knew we just moved here so dessert was complementary and super delicious and creamy. food is flavorful, high quality ingredients and portions are big. pasta is made in-house. drinks well balanced with alcohol and flavorful with a nice variety of options and mixes. valet is easy and reasonable price.

My lady studies in nc, and i study here in cleveland. she flew in and so i made a reservation here. how. freaking. awesome! the service from the staff was top tier they were all so friendly. the food was everything we could have hoped for, and the atmosphere couldn t be beat. you get a sense of how classy the place is while feeling, a sense of belonging. if you ve never been, make a reservation and rush to try it. it will not disappoint. thanks so much to laurie, enrique, jorge, and everyone else that welcomed and served us. we had a wonderful night!

My fav picked diallo s & it was a great option . we were the very first people there as we arrived as soon as they opened but our waitress aishah was very nice , & attentive to us. my fav salmon bites & potatoes. they were really good and we used the sweet chilli sauce instead for dipping . then my favv ordered the lamb chops with mac, mash, & a salad . she said the lamb chops very very delicious and the mac. she didn t really like the mash because it was too garlicky she said . the salad was amazing as well. we both ordered those . i ordered the turkey ribs as my entree with the mac & i had no complaints ! we enjoyed our food & it was served fast n hot ! we ll definitely be back! only thing we wish was different is that they has yams and greens available. those the sides we had really wanted .

I throughly enjoyed eating here. i will have to say that i ve been to many restaurants and by far this is on my list of top 5 restaurants i ve ever dined at. to start off i had the chilled oysters and and crab rangoon spring roll, for my main meal i had the pheasant meal , which was roasted breast and braised thigh, parsnip purer, marjoram , savory vegetable pot pie. which was amazing. this was my first time having pheasant . and it was cooked to perfection. the pot pie was amazing. i never tasted anything that amazing. our waiter was phenomenal, they kept our water cups filled and very pleasant. made sure our table had what we needed. even though i was full beyond words. i pushed myself and got the carmel bourbon cheesecake, and it was phenomenal. best cheesecake i have ever had. i will have to honestly give this restaurant a 10/10. this was definitely an awesome, amazing dining experience.

The new location has a splendid atmosphere. the entire staff is friendly and professional, not precocious or uppity. the kobe beef short ribs had a wonderful taste and literally were melt in my mouth. just perfect. the lobster mac and cheese was the perfect blend of richness and flavor. the special birthday desert was appreciated and tasty. the flaming desert rolls with the ice cream were super flavorful. even a day later out of the freezer at home it was a splendid treat. everything was just superb, robustly recommended!

A lovely restaurant in the 6th floor of the ritz- carlton hotel, cleveland where you can have your favorite meal in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. high level of luxury. excellent service. staff with a high degree of courtesy. all in all, a very nice experience.

The food was absolutely delicious, we split the burger from the brunch menu and a spicy pepperoni pizza. the fries that came with the burger were these huge potato slices, they were so good. pretzel was amazing and the cheese was green for st pattys! atmosphere was really nice as well, we will definitely be back!

We enjoyed the all american breakfast – happy that breakfast was served until noon on the weekends. while the food was pricey, it was tasty, and we received great service from the gentleman who seated us, our server and the gentleman clearing the tables. sometimes its the people that make you want to return to a place, and thats how i felt about he 1890. gorgeous setting too.

The atmosphere and service of the restaurant were very nice! it wasnt super busy when we went so that was definitely a plus. all the food was good, but we werent huge fans of the loco moski. the hot chicken dip is a must try!

Sarah was amazing! i didn t get the gentleman s name that helped us but he was great too! the atmosphere was the best and the coffee was the best part to me because of the little extra touches like the design sarah made on the top. my daughter and i both had the shipwreck which was very filling and actually reheated very nicely. my husband had the biscuits and said it was great but nothing special. sarah was what really made driving across cleveland and finding parking worth the drive.

Amazing mod mex restaurant styled in a home! the place is small and doesnt take reservations, so try to get there early if you dont want a wait (ive heard its been up to 4 hours at times). larger groups typically sit upstairs, while couples will be downstairs where the bar is. all of the food and drinks we tried were delicious- definitely save room for dessert, too!

Came to lago last saturday morning for my boyfriend s brunch. atmosphere was very pleasant and staff were prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. everything was great from start to finish. the bloody mary s were very good, are starter was great along with our meals! they made sure to wish my boyfriend a happy birthday and brought him a cannoli with candles. we will definitely be back to try them out for dinner! i would recommend 10/10.

Sara and the young man who worked on sunday night ( forgot to catch his name ) were amazing . i had just got off and ran in with my kids not realizing they were 5 minutes from closing i m in the restaurant business and i never ever do that to anyone . late kid pick up and trying to grab something fast on the way home . anyways they were so sweet and kind 100% on customer service very friendly . we will defiantly be coming back to this location because of the good attitude and fast service the 2 of them provided us

We went here to celebrate my sisters and my moms birthday. the service was top notch. the food was excellent, especially the desert crepes! for lunch, i had raisin and walnut french toast, with cinnamon apples and walnuts on top. i love peanut butter, so for dessert, i got a peanut butter and banana crepe. very good!! the food everyone had at my table, was also very good. i dont know what they got, but they said it was really good! i took pictures of our lunches to show what everything looked like. its a small place, but we got right in because it was the beginning of the lunch hour. by the time we left, most of the place was packed. its a little pricey, but what place isnt anymore? it definitely is a place to try, though!

Loved loved loved this place! i don t know if you can tell but i loved this place. first a bit of help it is in the 5th street arcade so google maps doesn t do a good job of getting you there. just turn in at the cupcake shop off of euclid. now the food. simple well prepared breakfast food with great options to make it yours. the omelets were huge and well stocked and the home fries were perfect to go along with the wheat toast. the coffee was hot and very well made. the prices are amazing with most breakfasts options being under ten dollars. the amount of local workers coming and going here speaks volumes and volumes about this place. seating is limited but we had no problem with a late (9ish) breakfast.
