Food was fresh, hot and delicious! my ribeye was cooked to perfection and melt in your mouth tender. loaded baked potato was perfect with all toppings fresh and tasty. asparagus was cooked perfect, tender with a slight snap. and salad was brought before my meal and made with all fresh ingredients. my server kayla was attentive and made sure i had everything i needed during my visit. the margaritas were absolutely perfect and delicious. the restaurant is older but clean and well loved and visited! will definitely be back and sooner rather then later!

Absolutely delicious. come for the rolls and cinnamon butter alone. the fried pickles were great, and the potato skins were great. all the bites were delicious. our waiter, mike, was excellent. the bbq chicken is surprisingly delicious if you re not a steak person. the broccoli was not cooked well, even after a second attempt at cooking them. but i won t count off because they re a steakhouse, not a broccoli house.

Edit to say, tonight i enjoyed a new favorite, parm ribeye amazing. our server was beverly- she was attentive, made sure our drinks stayed full, she offered to go boxes and dessert, not every server remembers to offer dessert but she sure did! i highly recommend asking for her as your server! i have shellfish allergy and this restaurant is very mindful about it. love this place! ill be coming back again, and when i do, you can sure bet we will ask for beverly! we spent around around $100 and enjoyed two very nice steak dinner, alcoholic beverages, and appetizers. very wonderful meal, fantastic service, very clean, enjoyable atmosphere.

Based on other reviews, we had to try the bacon cheese grit puppies and we were not disappointed. then we went with sandwiches. my wife was very happy with the chicken philly. i was equally happy with the pimento cheese burger. one warning on these choices; they can be a little messy to eat. but that shouldnt stop you. it was good to see a medium doneness request of a burger come back as medium! menu had many other meal options that sounded very tasty, and many other reviews commented as such, so well see what happens when we go back. service was very fast and friendly. we had beer to drink and they have a good selection of local breweries on tap

Was really disappointed in the food. prime rib was awful, stringy, gristly without any seasoning or taste. couldnt cut it with the steak knife, took it home to the dogs. $11.95 for caesar salads that were nothing but a pile of dry lettuce with a couple of croutons. seriously??? had this not been a birthday meal for my granddaughter and her friends, i would have pitched a fit!!! brussels sprouts were delicious. server was good, but will not spend that kind of money for that kind of food again. a real shame; this used to be our special place, but no more!!! wheelchair accessibility: diff

What a wonderful experience. i am not originally from the south and just moved out here. i have a high allergy to onion (even the spice), we had let the waitress caitlyn know this and she helped make sure all my food was safe for me to eat. she answered all questions very politely. i loved that she was a little different than the normal women out here, made it feel more like it was an accepting atmosphere of all people! when asked who our cooks were tonight she had let us know it was john and mitchell. thank you three so very much for ensuring my food had nothing i was allergic to. i was happily able to eat the full meal without any reaction and left so full and satisfied that i will always be coming back here for our date night dinners. thank you three so very much for this wonderful experience and amazing food!

We sat at the bar and received excellent service. the bourbon list was extensive and pricing as expected. the food was very good as well. i recommend the putnam room for good food and quality drinks!

Went for dinner to finally try the famous chicago style pizza. amazing! the best pizza we have had in a long time! tj was our server and bartender and he was absolutely phenomenal. we had such a great evening and already can t wait to go back. can t say enough good things about this place!

Wife and i were in town to pick up some furniture, we passed this place and it peaked our curiosity. so on the way home we decided to stop by and try it out, and were so glad that we did. the waitress was super friendly and very helpful recommending what some of the popular dishes and sides are. she also offered to let us sample some of the beer to decide what we wanted to drink. the pretzels and beer cheese/mustard were awesome definitely recommend them, the mustard had a bite to it that i loved. it felt like there may have been some horseradish in it that kind of made it taste like a powerful dijon mustard. i ordered the cookeville hot chicken sandwich and it was very good, however it was described to me as being similar to a nashville hot chicken sandwich and it was not even close. it was more of a buffalo sauce which is totally fine with me. i also asked for extra pickles and they hooked me up. the duck fat tater tots were as good as everyone else say they are and the ranch they were served with was amazing. wife ordered the flank steak covered in a chimichurri sauce and it was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the chimichurri sauce complemented the steak very well. her sides of brussel sprouts and smoked gouda cheese grits were also great. if we lived in cookeville itd be a regular eating location for sure. nothing negative to say about our lunch visit.

This place is awesome. my first time here (last week) and i opted for a regular table where i had a pleasant experience eating sushi etc. my second time here (tonight), i arrived specifically to have the teppanyaki experience. what a treat! i ordered the sea and land and had a terriffic time watching our chef prepare our meals with a lot of charisma. he popped vegetables in our mouths and i drank about 60 seconds worth of sake from his bottle from about 6 away, gaining the well-earned respect of the other diners. entertaining, yummy, and worth every penny.

Absolutely amazing place to eat. we live out of town and were referred here by a local. saying the food was delicious may be an understatement. everything from appetizers to dessert was all fantastic. cool atmosphere too. my only complaint is that we dont live closer so we can eat here more often. didnt take pictures of everything we ordered, but included a few.

Ok so i went back. i went back to give outback a second chance, and i am so glad that i did. i met a waiter named tristan who was an exceptional waiter. not only that but the food that i ordered was perfect. all we did was appetizers. the wedge salad, cheese, fries, and some potato soup. we had the strawberry lemonade with it but everything was perfect. thank you for the great experience, tristan, i believe you are the one that made it all.

The croissant starters were excellent. the spinach cheese dip was fantastic, with a perfect ratio of cheese to chips. i recommend the salad with honey lime dressing. the salad was very nice. the salmon on my salad was well prepared but not very fresh, not the best choice on my part. if you want extra protein, maybe get the chicken instead. vegetarian options: they have decent salads.

The best restaurant in cookeville to celebrate your valentines day sweetheart! the violinist was a very special treat! that you mauricios for a fabulous valentines experience. if only i could give you 10 stars! you deserve it! wheelchair accessibility: its a long ramp but it is accessible.

Speechless. fine dining in a small town, with reasonable prices. melt in my mouth, ribeye steak, grilled asparagus, and mashed potatoes….real mashed potatoes, not boxed flakes. the atmosphere is rustic and elegant, with a friendly staff with a big dose of small town charm and hospitality. a must go. i will definitely be back again. its worth the 10 hour drive for me.

Hidden gem! ive tried pho from all around the globe (i travel for work) and this place makes my top 5. i live in the bay area (california) and have access to many excellent pho restaurants, yet this place stands out. the pho broth is excellent and theres a good amount of meat as well. will make this place a must stop if im ever back in the area.

This place is excellent. the service was fantastic. the atmosphere was fantastic. and the bbq was excellent. we have a favorite bbq place in kc that we go to and the blue pig is dang close to being as good. we will stop there every time we pass through the area from now on. highly recommend.

I had come here before when it first opened and didnt have the greatest of experiences but i decided to try it again. i am so glad i did. the food was great. the service was great. the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. i ordered the pickle fries, delicious. they were crispy and full of flavor. the brussel sprouts are fire, the glaze is the perfect addition. the philly was seasoned perfectly and extra cheesy. the only thing i wasnt a big fan of was the cheese curds. they were just weird. they were doing trivia when we went. so there was lots of people. ill definitely go back

This is one of those great finds that you thank google maps for! located on a corner with access from one side, it s worth circling the block to get to if you have to. friendly, conscientious, and quick service. delicious fresh food with generous portions. the tom yum was perfect. wish we lived closer so i could try everything! the sampler looks amazing but was too much food for us at the time.

This place was soooo good. the pearl is one of the best burgers ive ever had. the yellow fin, tots, and chips were excellent. the drinks were well made, strong, and reasonably priced. i was just passing through town but id be a regular if i lived closer. they had a family emergency and had to close early or we would have stayed longer. i hope everything is ok.

Traveled here from chicago to participate in r.a.m (remote area medical) w/ our students (dental hygiene). our staff & i had dinner here & everything was great! our server was attentive & provided excellent service. the atmosphere was amazing. the food was great in proportion & worth the prices. we were not disappointed. thank you, tennessee, for your hospitality.

Our son, his wife, and children moved to the area in december (from philadelphia, pa). we flew in for a visit & they insisted we have dinner at one of their favorite places, reys. this place did not disappoint and exceeded our expectations! from the staff who were happy to see us, to the delicious food, and wow the dessert! you simply have to have the churro dessert! it was the best dessert i had in my entire life of 50yrs. i am from philadelphia & have access to the best restaurants. this place beats all mexican restaurants. 100%. we will be back!

Only have good things to say for bubba gandy. the manager was very friendly and the food was great. our food was out fast and tasted absolutely delicious. we got the 1lb shrimp plate and it was plenty for 2 to split. overall great experience. we ll definitely be coming back. feels like your at the beach in the middle of cookeville.
