If you can manage to get a reservation, texas roadhouse never lets me down in terms of food quality. the buns and cinnamon butter are a staple of the dining experience and something we look forward to every time! this trip i went with the 20oz bone-in ribeye, medium rare, with sauteed mushrooms. for sides i chose a caesar salad and chili. the steak was cooked perfectly, but like every other steakhouse it needs some finishing salt. nevertheless it was delicious and it came with plenty of mushrooms. the caesar salad was more heavily sauced than some other places which was definitely welcomed. i was surprised by how good the chili was! it was definitely a more bean heavy chili, but still had enough meat that it wasnt disappointing. loaded with spices, it had a little kick and packed with flavor. id recommend getting it with some sour cream on the side to mellow it out a bit. overall i was very pleased with this visit, although we did wait for 40 minutes at 2pm, so plan your reservation accordingly. i recommend this restaurant.

Our first time here. youre treated like royalty. i asked for a sample of every meat that was brought to our table. my favorite by far was the filet mignon, but there were certainty many others that rose to the occasion. wed heard the place is pricey, but for all that meat.., $53 per person seemed reasonable. the boys ate their fill and i feel gave them a run for the money. i personally cant see myself going there again as ive never been able to eat much in a sitting so prefer places where you can take leftovers home. the second pic posted is of the wasted meat that i just couldnt finish. i didnt ask for any seconds so while i understand a place like this wouldnt want to encourage doggy bags, they might want to consider people like me who didnt take advantage of their service and allow a one sample per item to go home with the consumer. that is my only reason that i wont be in any hurry to go back. the service, ambiance, and food were top notch. if youre like me however, and cant stand the thought of throwing good food away that technically, you were entitled to…. its a no. my hubby and son? heck yes theyd gladly return!! another thought for the restaurant is to nix the side serving of potato salad that came with the bread. what a complete waste. stick it on the salad bar with the rest of the delicious treats. makes me wonder just how much food gets tossed night after night. again, the place, staff, and food are 5 star. i just hate seeing so much amazing food go to waste. disgusting. parking: location is within a shopping mall so plenty of parking!

The food and service were outstanding. the server knew about all the dishes we asked about and had details about the cocktails and champagne. he also was well versed in the hotel and surrounding area. from the appetizer to salad to our steaks everything came out as ordered and was delicious. highly recommend!

Wow! this place is amazing. we are from the minneapolis area, visiting le claire, and decided to try ruthie s. the entire experience was 5 stars. our server, amber, is a true professional – and sadly, that s a rare experience, post covid. she knew her menu, made good recommendations, and had everything timed perfectly. we started with french onion soup and it was delicious, lightly herbed, not salty or overbearing beef flavor, the cheese was amazing. next, fillet mignon (ordered medium), with the house marmalade. my compliments to the chef, it was a perfect medium, tender, juicy, pink, good flavor. loved the marmalade but it was sweet, which i like, but others may not. it isn t overbearing, so it doesn t mask the flavor of the steak, but it is sweet. we shared the fries and they were fries, nothing special. we ve had better at other steak houses. we d definitely come here again, even if it s a 5-hour drive from home, it was that good. and the view! spectacular, top of the building, floor to ceiling windows, a great place to catch sunset or moonrise.

We had an amazing time!! our server, alex, was awesome and on point the whole time!we had all ordered steaks, and they were all cooked to perfection! nice and tender and seasoned well! definitely had an excellent time!

Stopped in to try this new restaurant and everything was great. been there about 4 times since and no disappointments! sushi is really good and the hibachi is also. each time i have had different cooks, but each time the meal didnt disappoint. they have chinese food there as well; i havent tried that yet. mostly because every time i go there, i cant not get the hibachi. i do want to try the chinese food at some point. briefly spoke with owner has he walked around the restaurant. he seems like a nice guy that really cares about his guests. if you havent tried it yet, you should. just keep in mind that it does get a little busy on the weekends (its a new place) so maybe allow yourself a little time.

Stopped in on a road trip from texas. glad we did! very good food and great service. plates are huge, very shareable. your daughter will not finish her food. food

The fish was just as i remembered when we had our frontier again in clinton! and the cole slaw was the best ive ever had! even better than kfc!!!

We came to duck city bistro to celebrate a birthday. we began with a bottle of pino noir to toast our celebration. our waitress was patient, knowable and helpful in selection of our wine and offered suggestions for apps and dinner options. we first had a crisp salad which was fresh. then we each chose the filet and let me tell you that filet was one of the best we have had in quite awhile. melt in your mouth with a such great flavor. slightly caramelized crust on the exterior and pink but juicy interior. great job chef! we highly recommend duck city bistro for that special event or date night out with your significant partner. was a bit pricey but felt for a special event was well worth it. bon appetite!

Wonderful place for a date night or special occasion. we celebrated our anniversary for dinner and had the filet, cheese tortellini, bruschetta, and peanut. butter chocolate cheesecake. everything was incredible. from the hand crafted cocktails, live piano music, and wonderful staff you cant go wrong. we will be returning soon, highly recommend!
