One of the very best steakhouses i ever been. service was outstanding the food even better. shawn the manager personally visited every table. he is the man every manager strive to be. the food was exceptional in every way. a visit to daytona to us has always included a visit to hyde park and it will continue in the future. a truly amazing restaurant.

I havent been in years and this was my first time at this location. wonderful food. our waitress, courtney, was fantastic. looking forward to my next visit.

Shay was our waitress, she is totally awesome!!! matter a fact we can t say enough awesome things about her. we were a party of 9 celebrating a friends 75th birthday. one of the girls order french onion soup. when the gentleman delivered it, we look at the burnt soup then at each other. she took one taste shay came to the table took one look at the soup took it and said i ll be right back. she returned with a new bowl of soup which looked totally different ..and was actually hot! another meal had a hair sitting right on top. she was so upset when she found out the food was delivered like that she couldn t apologized enough!! we go out to dinner every month as a group. this was the best service and time we have ever had and that was because of shay. she laughed with us, talked to us and with us!! she made our whole experience wonderful! i know waitresses don t get raises ..but you should give her some kind of bonus and recognition .she surely deserves something. we will definitely be calling and requesting shay on our next visit.

We found the pier house based on reviews online and are so glad that we did! the location isn t the greatest, and you can tell that the restaurant used to be something else, but the service and the food were spectacular. we arrived and walked in and were surprised that the location didn t seem to match the menu we d checked out online, but we sat down anyway. one of our group ordered the calzones cocktail, and the server mentioned that they grill the cactus to make the puree for it to order. with that level of detail, we had great hopes. our drinks were great, we ordered appetizers, including the mozzarella planks, which were perfectly fried, and caprese salad, which was so fresh and delicious. as a native of new england, i ve had my fair share of chowders- this clam chowder was so flavorful. for dinner, we had steaks and seafood. the steaks were all seasoned well and cooked to the perfect temperatures and the house vegetables were cooked but still had a great texture to them. overall, we were very impressed with the food and the service. i d definitely go back again.

Tom made our experience at the chart house this evening wonderful. the food was prepared perfectly. the atmosphere was inviting. we can t wait to go back. i ve been dining at this location for over 30 years, they never disappoint. we ordered from the early diners menu, we were very impressed with the portions and presentation.bread service was wonderful. the molten lava chocolate cake was phenomenal as always. this is the best salad bar too. everything was fresh and delicious. the only downside to our dinner was the drinks. i had a cosmopolitan martini, it was the worst cocktail i ve ever had to date. it was almost impossible to drink. it was not very cold, and tasted like pure rubbing alcohol, it burned so badly i could barely swallow it., i drink cosmos all the time this was by far the absolute worst.i didn t complain to the server because it s not his fault , it was bad enough to start the evening off on the wrong foot, but i just let it go. the mojito flight was ok, it looked better than it tasted. the presentation was beautiful. that was the only issue, the drinks. i hated that we had to pay for them, they were not worth it, i know our server would ve got us something else, i hate to offend anyone, so we didn t say anything. everything else was spectacular.

My family and i had an amazing holiday experience. chester was our server and he was kind, funny, and attentive. i had drove 7 hours today to visit family and the food was much craved. i know my mom and her husband can be particular, but chester s attentiveness and fast pace kept up with her. lastly, i can t remember the last time i went out to restaurant and my mom didn t complain about her food. she raved about everything. also side note: one of the bartenders tonight looked like wylie dufresne.

Magnificent atmosphere and phenomenal 360 degree panoramic view. our waitress victoria was great and very knowledgeable and sweet! i truly enjoyed the view of daytona beach and all the city lights. it gave me the big city vibe which i love. definitely a well hidden gem! gorgeous! i will definitely return during the daytime to experience the full view of the city, river and ocean ! in love with this place! first time eating kangaroo and it was delicious! lamb lollipops were really good as well! overall great!
