Its been a while since i visited yakiya, but the memories of that fantastic dining experience still linger. from the moment we arrived, we were promptly seated, a testament to their efficiency. i was particularly impressed with how quickly the staff ensured tables were cleaned between plates. the kitchen team deserves special mention too, as they kept the scrumptious dishes coming without any unnecessary delay. the star of the evening was, of course, the meat. each cut was not only delicious but also richly flavored, a testament to their meticulous preparation. the presentation was nothing short of artistic, a feast for the eyes as much as for the palate. while the essence of the dishes was deeply rooted in japanese culinary traditions, i was pleasantly surprised by the subtle touches of korean fusion in some. it added an unexpected, yet delightful twist.

Met up with a life long friend on my birthday for the thursday steak and lobster special and happy hour. great friendly service, the food was delicious. highly recommend!!!

Authentic dongbei dishes! must have the cold noodle appetizer! red bean buns! stew goose is the best! will definitely come back again! the waiter lion was extremely nice and helpful! kid-friendliness: our friend s 10 months old was having a blast crawling around the private booth!

This restaurant is the go-to for our family dinners and celebrations. they used to have a location in san gabriel but have since closed. we are lucky we still have this location to go to. the teriyaki chicken is the best i have ever tasted. my family likes to order the sauce and put it on rice. they also have a small dessert menu but its a good one! try their fried ice cream!

Ive been craving for salmon carpaccio, and this place satisfy my craving, the salmon carpaccio was sooo good, the portion was bigger than any other sushi places, i eat with the sushi rice, and its just hit the spot!!!! i also got eel sashimi, it was good as well… the service also really good, even there is only one server but he pretty fast and attentive.

Better than i expected. the restaurant was clean. the service was excellent. i enjoyed the bourbon chicken skillet dinner and it was delicious. the outside is not very attractive but inside is very nice.

I ve driven past this place sooo many times, never everrrr considered eating here till one day i noticed how busy the parking lot was, it wasn t until i looked closer then realized they have parking in the back too and yes it was filled. wanted to give them a try and no better time than on a taco tuesday. they do have table service but you have to order your food first which is fine. the chips and salsa delish except i wanted it to be spicy it was flavorful but no spice. ordered 2 asada tacos (tts taco tuesday special) partner got a chicken burrito! the portions are good, i could ve eaten another taco but i didn t want to get too full. i wish i looked at the specials prior. the burrito and tacos were delish!! better than tepeyac restaurant on crossroads!

The food is so good! the waitress and waiters are so nice and very fast. the atmosphere is nice and clean. we eat so comfortably and the price is so reasonable. this is our new spot!

I recently visited boiling point and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. unlike other similar establishments, this boiling point location stood out to me in several ways. firstly, i found the taste of the food to be superior, which made my dining experience even more enjoyable. additionally, i appreciated that the waiting time was relatively short compared to what ive experienced at other places. this made the entire dining process more convenient and efficient. most notably, i was satisfied to discover that i could order unlimited rice and receive double the amount of meat. this added value to my meal and left me feeling very satisfied with my dining experience. overall, i highly recommend boiling point for its delicious food, short waiting times, and generous serving options. i will definitely be returning for more!

Kind of a hole in the wall, but i love this place. ive gotten their karaage which are giant chunks of chicken which are juicy and crispy. the spicy beef ramen is an irresistible umami bomb, the hiyashi is perfect refreshing dish for a hot day, and the katsudon reminds me of home. you cant go wrong eating here

Very nice clean small family owned/ operated restaurant with excellent quality fish and tasty udon soups. lots of great beer and sake options as well. these are the best neighborhood sushi restaurants i always prefer.

Im always on the search for good sashimi restaurants in the 626. this time, i discovered this spot, which is located in a small plaza in hacienda heights. the chef here creates sashimi platters using the freshest seafood that day, and i also love their wide variety of sushi rolls they offer. definitely recommend this hidden gem!!

Great variety of tacos at a really reasonable price and killer deals on certain days. the staff is always fast and amazing different choices of meats to choose from and make sure to be ready to wait in line. this is a very popular spot so i usually come later in the night or early definitely recommend.

Another food place rating back at it again, this time the all-time best fast food place, in-n-out burger. to begin with this amazing experience, i ordered the animal style burger from their not so secret menu found on their website. the burger was very delicious, 0 flaws. however, the fries were a bit stiff and not so soft. i like my fries soft. other than that, the salt was perfect. moving on, if you didnt know, you could ask for a hat or some stickers, and they will give you one for free, which is exactly what i did. the hat was cool and fit perfectly and could be adjusted. i also ordered a strawberry shake, which was amazing and was pretty easy to drink/slurp. the final thing i will rate is the atmosphere. it was alright. the only thing i did t like was that my foot got gum stuck on it when i walked to the dining area. overall rating of place, 9/10

I love the del taco here, food is always good when i order. never had a problem with the new management i would say they have or new team but back year or two back got my food messed up but since the new crew everything comes out good & fresh.

Wow i went to this place years ago with family-friends and i am so happy to say that they are as good, if not even better, than when i first tried their sushi here!! their baked scallop rolls and baked salmon rolls are to die for! literally some of the best sushi i ve ever had the lady special roll with soy paper is also very refreshing and i would highly recommend it as a pairing to some of the denser rolls :) the service here is wonderful and the chefs are so kind! they have even waved goodbye to me before! the atmosphere here is the literal best and specifically set up for calmness and relaxation with green vines creating a little privacy for guests and a warm light that really helps you settle in. my favorite sushi restaurant and a real treat for someone who you d want to share it with! :)

Used to know the previous owners well and loved their food growing up. i still wanted to try this place with the new owners because there are some dishes that are the same from before. the food wasn t the same but the house special chicken seemed similar and the other foods were very good too. we just didn t like the black sauce jajangmein, it s definitely not korean chinese style like before but everything else was good. there are many chinese restaurants in this plaza but only this place has many customers. remember they are closed between 3-5 pm. we had dessert first at meet fresh waiting for them to reopen.

Love this place. portions are generous. big eaters will enjoy. normal eaters can gaslit split plates in two. try the nachos or the 3taco/2 taquito plate.
