Absolutely delicious! the price is average for a steakhouse, but the portions are so worth it! crabcake appetizer….delicious! my husband and i had rib eye, it was cooked perfectly, and the crust was too die for! baked potato for a side, and it was the largest potato ive ever seen, definitely worth the price. my son had shirt ribs and they were the star of the table!! so juicy and full of flavor, must get! my little one had pizza off the kids menu, and man, i swear it was one of the best pizzas ive ever tasted! our waiter was outstanding as well! if youre thinking about steak, this place is highly recommended. i will say that i was upset that oscar style wasnt an add-on for my steak, but other than that, i will definitely be back again!

    One review mentioned:

This restaurant surprised me… the food is extremely good! dont let the neighborhood vibe throw you off. they care!! started with a fabulous deep ruby colored lambrusco tradizione zanasi at $52–incredibly reasonable. the fried calamari is highly recommended as its one of the best i have had!! fried with spicy red peppers and italian parsley served with a fabulous homemade tartar. next a gem lettuce market salad tossed with a light lemon dressing was perfect! the bread, although $12, was worth it–a quarter loaf of sourdough rye with butter. the minestrone soup was rich and full of flavor topped with parmesan cheese. finally the entrees were well prepared–a respectable cheeseburger with a fabulous special sauce, caramelized onions and amazing parsley fries!! also a homemade gnocchetti with fresh mushrooms and finished with breadcrumps and thyme. service was a bit slow toward the end of the meal but the bartender jumped in and took over which was appreciated. the ambience inside is foody style smaller wooden tables with small candles. i think that table cloths are well deserved here and would be welcomed! there a few tables in the main room where the bar sits and then about a dozen tables in the nest two rooms. there is also a more casual outdoor area that is basically candle-lit wooden picnic tables. but dont worry–they care a lot more about the food than anything else and it shows from start to finish! will return soon!! parking: i read that it was easy to park and was skeptical but it really was! i parked right in front across the street.

The photo is the only dish we had that we didnt vibe with. was just not very flavorful. the corn itself was bland, so if you didnt take a bite with the beautiful display of sauce/cheese, it just wasnt good. otherwise, the hummus bi tahini was amazing. i loved the chickpeas. they were so crispy, and the gravy was amazing. the beef melted the moment your fork touched it. the rice pudding was also very delicious and not too heavy! service was great. atmosphere is so peaceful. definitely plan on going again to try the lamb!

The vibes here are immaculate! the outside seating here is so pretty and it s perfect for a date or with friends. def recommended to get a reservation before coming. the staff were very attentive and always made sure to check up on us. it was cold outside so we requested to turn on the heat lamp next to us. ours was a little janky but there was a staff member that would check up and do his best to ensure that we were warm and that the heat lamp was working. the food portions are on the smaller side but shareable amongst your friends. the pizzas were the best part of this restaurant. the bathrooms were clean and brightly lit. vegetarian options: the menu lists a good amount of dishes without any meat on them, lists the major ingredients parking: valet: brunch is $10, dinner is $12

One of my absolute favorite burger joints anywhere in los angeles, easily in the top 3 for me. the prices are very reasonable, the burgers are incredibly tasty, fries are fresh, and the kale salad is an unexpected, delicious highlight. be prepared to wait 10-20 minutes during peak periods. i havent tried the soft serve ice cream myself, but friends who have said its very good. the only cons are the available seating, which is essentially just plastic stools under umbrellas in the street, and parking (of course). if youre in the neighborhood looking for a great burger, this spot cannot be beat!

    One review mentioned:

Spoon & pork, as its charming name suggests, earns my unofficial michelin star for the evening. this quaint culinary gem impresses with its sizable flair in a compact space. our adventure led us into the bustling ambiance of this restaurant for dinner, uncovering a treasure trove of filipino soul food i hadnt realized existed until now. my partner and i indulged in a pork shank, exquisitely glazed with a blend of spicy and sweet, alongside some aromatic garlic rice, a combination that captured our hearts. the starters arrived piping hot, setting the stage for a meal where each dish was crafted with care, and the cleanliness of the establishment added to the overall positive experience. the sole server, despite being the only one attending to a full house, performed admirably under pressure, adeptly managing orders, serving, cleaning, and processing payments with commendable efficiency. despite the challenge of limited service staff, our experience was undeniably delightful.

Omakase by osen is an elegant restaurant perfect for an exceptional evening of inventive and top-quality sushi. we opted for the sushi bar-side omakase dinner, although they also offer table-side omakase. despite booking last minute, the staff were remarkably professional yet friendly, displaying deep knowledge and attentiveness. from the moment we walked in, they made us feel incredibly important, promptly seating us even though we arrived 20 minutes early. our dinner included a delightful progression of 16 courses. while they do offer sake pairings, we chose to order our own sake and beer, creating our own sake bombs. the restaurant is not excessively large, but it strikes a comfortable balance in size. the ambiance is just right, facilitating engaging conversations during dinner. i dont recall any background music, as the overall atmosphere already exuded a fantastic vibe. this was my first visit, and it certainly wont be my last. if youre a sushi enthusiast eager to experience omakase, i wholeheartedly recommend omakase by osen. booking was a breeze, and the pricing was reasonable, making it a memorable dining choice.

I ve come here a few times, mostly for dinner, and it s a great casual, quick spot. the outdoor patio is dog friendly. they have a few local beers on tap as well as a limited wine and cocktail list. they have a few vegetarian/vegan options, including the pho. the absolute best thing i ve ordered was the banh mi with grilled pork. the meat was outstanding, i ll definitely be ordering again. parking here is super easy – and it s a quick stop after a stroll around the reservoir. vegetarian options: vegan options also available parking: free lot behind restaurant with ample metered street parking on glendale blvd as well as free street parking in the nearby neighborhoods

I give this place five stars mainly because it s unique. the flavors really weren t to my liking (nor my family), but the food was good quality and i can see how some might like the food. we had the boozy milkshakes and the breakfast sandwich with sausage. it s definitely expensive and there is a wait usually, so keep that in mind. parking is also difficult. parking: parking is pretty tough here.

Downtown outpost of steakhouse that owns nick + steff s as well. had dinner here with my parents on a sunday evening and made reservations online in advance. we had an early dinner since they were catching a show at sofi. street parking available if you are willing to walk a few blocks. credit cards accepted. our waiter fitz took very good care of us and was helpful in his suggestions. we did get the bread service ($5) and there was an array of breads that included pretzel, raisin, rolls, etc. my dad and mom got steaks while i opted to try the sushi (the wagyu beef roll came with 8 pieces and the hamachi with crispy onions came with 9. we got the spicy caesar to split (highly recommend this since the dressing was unique) as well as the calamari (highly recommend this as well for the lightly fried texture). ordered some fries for the table and of course we had more than enough food. i particularly liked the wagyu beef roll and feel that the broiling of the beef helped add some nice texture. we ended the meal with the sinful chocolate cake and we had some creme anglaise on the side, which made all the difference for this very rich, heady dessert. they had live music at the bar area and there seemed to be a lot of tables celebrating a special occasion. we had a leisurely meal and took about 2.5 hours to enjoy everything. the ambiance is dark and moody, but sophisticated. we felt taken care of and highly enjoyed our meal.

Huge upgrade from my last visit, last year or so. the wait for the food is a bit long still. fast at getting you your appetizers and drinks. me and my family got the ultimate, all you can eat shrimp. it was so yummy, we had many of the different dishes, pictured you can find the coconut shrimp, linguine, and skewers. everything was seasoned well and tasted so good. we also had the lobster dip, which was mouth watering. the biscuits are delicious as usual and soft. i got the $7 riptide margarita, it had plenty of alcohol and pairs well with all the shrimp dishes. all the food was fresh and we enjoyed it. the waiter andrew was very nice and helpful. it s recommended that you save the pasta for last, the best part is that you get to take home whatever you ordered but once you box it, no more shrimp orders. highly recommended and it s very affordable. i can t wait to go back!

Really great service and the vibes were 10/10. great crowd and amazing dj for sure. also everyone working there was very nice and made it a great experience. we were 2 people so the appetizers were adjusted for our party size but the citrus salad was just 4 pieces of oranges on a plate which i attached a picture of. i was just confused because it was $85 per person so i feel like we should have got more than this, we honestly laughed a little when we saw it because of how wimpy the presentation was but nonetheless it was a great brunch experience.
