This is our go to fancy restaurant. you can dress up but don t have to. there are lots of great options but i always go to my default renegade sirloin because it s just too good to resist and we don t go often. i was starting to think i didn t like steakhouse steak anymore, because outback steak wasn t really good anymore. they had been my favorite for years, but i found it lacking and started enjoying steak at home on a rare occasion instead. we randomly decided to try longhorn one night when i was tired of hubby s favorite mexican restaurants. it s become a family favorite. hubby gets chicken and it s delicious i tried it. we love the onion petal appetizer and the spinach dip though we aren t fond of the chips (we use the onion petals to dip in it instead). their long island drink is delicious and they are happy to substitute rum since hubby is allergic to vodka. the mashed potatoes are buttery and delicious (i don t like gravy). the staff is amazing even when you get a trainee. no complaints here ever!

My wife and i stopped in late one night after long evening at work. she ordered the cobb salad and i got the blooming onion dipped chicken. we also ordered drinks. i had a smoked old fashioned she had something sweet with rum. cant really remember the name but it taste it really good lol.

This place is great! chris was our server and he took wonderful care of us! ordered the chopped steak, took a bite and my first thought was this is delicious! and better than that other road house lol. would definitely come back if in the area again. everything was fresh, clean, and just as we ordered it. thank you!

Old time steak house, has alot of nice display of stained glass throughout the place. i got the steak and chicken dinner, with side salad and cheddar bacon mashed potatoes with a chocolate martini. presentation was great, so was food, and to top it off i paid under $40 before tip for all this. if you are not hungry this is also a good place to grab a drink in mishawaka.

For years, i had driven past this restaurant in the morning saying to myself i wanted to try it, so tonight i took the family and tried it and loved it. unlike nicks, its not either soup or salad. you get both with your meal. we ate like kings. a beautiful chopped steak and mashed potatoes. you even get cheese and crackers to start off with. our waitress was awesome, too. the best part you wont lose your wallet there. very reasonable for what you get. you wont leave there hungry. they even have things like frog legs but its not my thing. kid-friendliness: they didnt have a kids menu that i know of, but my daughter improvised.

It was so good that my boyfriend and i had to make the 45 minute drive to go back the next day and get it again. the food leaked in the bag one of the trips so the woman running the window took the time to take everything out, wipe it down, and give us a new bag. im usually not a big fan of mushrooms, but im still thinking about them 2 days later. my boyfriend recommends getting the shaved sirloin sandwich with the tangy barbecue sauce. i will be telling everyone i know about this place!! vegetarian options: i didnt expect much as a vegetarian going to a place specializing in steak, but their veggie dinner is delicious. you will not leave hungry.
