My husband and i come here for the fantastic steaks. one of the managers in the back, cate, always takes the time to help us find the best possible steaks. we live closer to another location, but come here specifically because cate runs a great kitchen! never had a bad experience. we don t like whole texas atmosphere, but choose to come here over other places purely for the quality steaks!

Amazing seafood! bang bang shrimp and calamari appetizers were excellent. my baked scallops were perfect. exceptional service speed, quality, friendly, sincere staff. huge heart, great views, perfect new england seafood stop. highly recommended.

The blue duck has to be the coolest place i ve visited in new london so far! it has trendy vibes with unique foods on the menu. i wasn t sure how i was going to feel about peanut butter and jelly wings, but i ended up really enjoying them! the lobster mac was definitely a highlight too. they have a nice patio area that i definitely have to come back in the summer for. i ve been telling everyone who asks me for recommendations in the new london area that the blue duck should be at the top of their list!

The host, the waitresses, the chef everyone were friendly and supper accommodating. they even went out of their way to make some akra for us, even though it was not available on the brunch menu. the drinks were super yummy. overall we have a great experience. we were traveling from out of town, and only had 20-30 min time to spare before our flights and they assured us that they would get our foods out fast, they didnt lie. i would highly recommend going there and whenever im back in town, ill be back.

My wife said it was the best lobster roll she ever had. she liked the scallops too. lightly breaded. the line went pretty fast. worth the wait! luckily for those of us who dont eat seafood there are some good choices too. the cheeseburger was great and affordable. the chicken fingers i didnt care for as much. fries were great.

Husband and i were visiting from out of state and found this place on google. we figured we would give it a try. we went on a thursday night, they had live jazz, great drinks, & great food! hannah was wonderful. everything was delicious. they also have non-alcoholic ipa. highly recommend, very chill atmosphere. we will be back.

Skip the casino food and make the drive. surprisingly good meal at very affordable prices. after checking on the availability of options in the mohegan sun, we decided against the long wait times and make the 15 minute drive to the recovery room. absolutely worth it! parking is available and there is a long bar at which you can eat. the waitstaff appears to be all very young, but they are well trained and work very well together to provide delicious food like the arincini, clam casino pizza and fried calamari that my table shared. the burgers are also outstanding and the fries at just the way i like them. if i m in the area again, this will be my first choice. dietary restrictions: gf pasta is available for an additional fee.

Damn this was good. in our never ending search for wonder indian food here in ct, we tried spice palette and it was awesome. big portions, excellent flavor, perfect service, clean restaurant. it was so good we couldnt stop eating! well be back!

Unexpectedly stopped in and had one of the best meals! authentic guatemalan food as if we were there and it was home cooked. the food was fresh and delicious and reasonably priced. the service from angel was excellent. we will return and we will bring friends!

Went here for dinner at 630 on sunday night, called in to reserve the night before. it was a great experience overall with great food and great service. the young servers we had was very attentive. our food did not take long, despite sunday night it was not too busy so maybe that was why, but it was raining and gloomy outside so weather may have impacted lesser crowd situation. we had oyster for appetizer. i normally do not like oysters, at all, but i actually liked it here! we then tried chocolate martini drink, wow,it was delicious! my main dish was the anti pasta shrimp dish, it was enough for me as my dinner meal. it was 4 jumbo shrimp with bell peppers, fried bread of some sort underneath. the shrimp was very flavorful and it was the best shrimp i had from a restaurant!! i had a lot of shrimp dishes(i love shrimp) but this really was the best . oh, the free bread and dipping sauce was good!! overall, the food was the best italian food i have ever had! i definitely would come back here again.

A beautiful coffeeshop thats spacious with plenty of seating arrangements, fairly priced food options, and a beautiful view of the harbor and the train tracks. the decor hints of seaside and sports themes, and when i was there 70s & 80s music was playing. they even had a jukebox, but i couldnt tell if it worked. the food is quite delicious, and service is decently fast with drinks and pastries served almost immediately! i had the hummus sandwich, and it was a lot even for me, but it was well worth the price! overall, the atmosphere alone makes this my new favorite coffee shop, the staff are fantastic, and the food is equally as delicious! this place is pretty popular so expect a lengthy line to get in if youre not getting in early!

Jake took our orders without writing them down, i love when places do that. very homey little diner. jake and his diner are definitely a stop you should make if youre in the area for a meal.

One on my favorite places to eat, food come quick and taste great. the the prices for everything is great. definitely recommend

The beautiful bartender greeted me as i stepped in and i knew that social bar is a place where one s satisfaction is guaranteed. i ordered the mr. nice guy burger with a side of brussels sprouts. the burger was good but the sprouts were perfection! back to the bartender, after giving me a glass of water while i was waiting, she proved that she knows her products at the bar. i asked her why jameson whiskey was also stout. she explained it so simply that i, a teetotaler, understood the process. all in all, great place, great food , and outstanding staff!

Had a chicken gyro which was incredibly delicious. staff were pleasant and had my order out quickly. unfortunately, i watched someone become the victim of domestic abuse outside while dining, but otherwise very pleasant. 10/10, bring the whole family.

Chowder and gyros were both good. the pizza smelled amazing but i did not get it.

The bartending staff is very personable and charming. i have no complaints on the food. i always ordered a cup of chili and some beer and along with the dinners both times they were outstanding. shout out to the mother and daughter bartending
