Im writing this while still in the restaurant. i stopped by on our last night in newport, without the two other people in my party. they absolutely missed out. i am not kidding when i say that the raviolo – and warm bread to gather up every drop of sauce – was the best bit of food i had this whole trip. and im a seafood lover! the hash browns were perfectly crispy, and the hatch chile pimiento cheese was the perfect punch of flavor. my whiskey drink was delicious, too. i can tell that the people here are doing something special. the food is art. i wish i had another week to try everything on the menu. sit at the bar facing their open kitchen – you wont regret it.

What a gem! did a thursday day trip to newport mansions and selected red parrot based on reviews and photos. for a weekday at 1:30 it was busy but not packed. much bigger than it looks it has 3 floors with at least 3 bars! imagine they can handle a crowd! all 3 sandwiches were excellent and they easily accommodated my nieces gluten free requirements! place looks first class and charming. staff friendly and efficient! dietary restrictions: just key waitress know, they handled our gluten free request with ease.

Ive always had a great meal at tokyo house in newport! the staff are friendly, they are accommodating to my food restrictions, the restaurant recently got a remodel and looks good as well and you always know what you are getting with the food! 5-star!

We stumbled upon this place while exploring newport and loved everything about it. we started with the clam chowder and smoked chicken wings! our kids enjoyed their kids meals and they loved that the crayons were crayola! my wife and i had sandwiches without the bread and a side salad because we are watching carbs. they were more than accommodating. the service was great. the atmosphere was super chill. the food was excellent. dietary restrictions: we are eating low carb and other than the pre-sauced pork they were able to customize our order to fit our needs. kid-friendliness: the crayons and kids activity pages were great for our kids. they loved their food and the ice cream sandwich. our server treated the kids as valued members of our party.

Lovely setting for any meal. we enjoyed the frito misto, gluten free tacos, burger and delicious oysters followed by deconstructed apple, coconut crisp, maple cheesecake. omg it was delicious. our waitress julia was attentive to our needs, made us feel right at home and even had a moment to take a photos of our time there. try the grounded cabernet. hot toddy before heading out. view and grounds are a treat. go enjoy dietary restrictions: gluten free options available. parking: free valet parking.

Wonderful location on the water. great views from the dining room. came here for dinner and it exceeded expectations. small plates and entrees were delicious. we ordered the smoked bluefish rillettes and lobster/shrimp croquettes. both delicious and great for sharing. i had the scallops which was super tasty. other had the sole and fish sandwiches which were enjoyed. we also had the creme brulee which was well enjoyed at the table. i will return for seafood when back in the area.

We happened by chance to walk past and liked the menu, so we stopped in. it happened to be happy hour 12p-2p with $1.50 oysters. we had a dozen, and some clams, and some shrimp, and it was delicious! friendly staff and a fun vibe. i would come back here for sure!

The food was better than expected! especially loved the stuffed sole which had a great sweet stuffing. we also got the chicken parm as a sandwich which was also fantastic. they did it over ciabatta bread which was really good and not traditional. the made your own lettuce cups were good. the white meat chicken was over cooked and the noodles was an odd wheat udon type but the thick sauce was so good that i still enjoyed it. it could have used more vegetables to go with it. it was just chicken, noodles, and sauce with some pico de gallo on the side. the lobster bisque was okay, not great. id go elsewhere for a better bisque. the side of garlic bread was more of a crostini with mildly flavored oil. all in all, id definitely come back for the stuffed sole and chicken parmesan sandwich

Came here to announce that the speakeasy burger was one of the best burgers i ve ever had big fan of pb&j on meat and the bacon, cheese, and bread were great. the fries were next level, too. enjoyed the apa that the dude working there recommended and walked in while blink-182 were playing over the pa. solid dinner choice!

First time going there and it was a great experience . the waiter was attentive. the food was delicious. even the caesar salad was great. i had the lobster ravioli and it was perfection. my partner had the beef wellington and they enjoyed it as well . the dessert was satisfying too. i would definitely dine there again !

Amazing food and a romantic atmosphere. my girlfriend and i were able to get a reservation at the last minute. the lady in the front was very accommodating and the staff was amazing. food was delicious. the whisky selection was top notch. definitely take a date there

We came in sunday evening for a small dinner and dessert and sat at the bar. the bartender was attentive and filled our drinks quickly. it was pretty empty when we got there but packed when we left. the food was amazing. we shared the short rib special and it was so good! for dessert we had the chocolate mousse and bread pudding which were also sooooo good! the restaurant itself was beautiful. prices were reasonable. would definitely dine here again!

Im so happy my wife and i gave vieste simply italian a try while in newport food: absolutely delicious. vegetable soup was top notch. ravioli and chicken parm were delicious service: everyone was very friendly. our server was wonderful and attentive, even though they seemed short staffed. atmosphere: perfect

English bar with a super nice ambience. bar is something to admire with tons of nice spirits. cocktails were superb. the food was above average, very tasty and plentiful. the four plates our party had were great. my fish and chips was almost like being back in england. overall, highly recommend this place.

Late night snack menu was incredible. wait staff was super friendly and ok the spot to help us. cook staff went an extra step to get oysters prepared for us. they were awesome!! beer was cold. chowder was excellent!! loved our stop here.

Today i went in to have a late lunch to get one of my favorites from here honey bbq chicken wrap with fries also to get some raspberry iced tea i couldnt complain because everything came out very good and well done

This new place is delicious! i have a big family and it s nice that they have 4 restaurants to pick from and i love that when you order online, it s grouped in 1 order so my fam can pick whichever place they want and i don t have to order separately. very good food and worth the price. ps- the elvis is amazing!!

Ive eaten her 5-6 times in the last few months and usually get one of the pizzas. the food is quite good and consistent as is the service. the seating can be crowded with adjacent tables so close you shouldnt share your deepest secrets and the bar stools have no backing and nowhere to put your coat in cold weather but you put up with it. get the peroni on draft-excellent with the pizza! parking: during tourist season and almost any weekend parking is tough. try spring street or one of the hidden public lost between spring and americas cup.

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience here and the variety of oysters. i had four different kinds of oysters which were phenomenal, very fresh, and as described. i think my favorite oysters here were the davenport and wellfleet. i had the salmon with rice pilaf and roasted asparagus and my bff had the lobster roll. it had a lot of lobster but it was served on a small bun. entrees were delicious too but the oysters stole the show for me. for dessert. a key lime pie. technically its really a muffin since thats the shape it comes in, but still phenomenal and very fresh tasting. i would definitely come back here. parking: finding parking will be difficult for weekends and dinner hours

Absolutely perfect! the lobster quesadilla was out of this world! the salad that it was plated with was simple but amazingly fresh and delicious. our server recommended a combination of blood orange and passion fruit for our margarita choice. she was 100% right with that recommendation! the service was excellent and the ambiance is really special.

My first time here. i ordered a steak burrito bowl with pinto beans, spanish rice, onions and mild sauce. you get a generous portion size for your money. the dining area is neat and clean. i will be coming back. thank you so much.

Went looking for some great fish and chips and the fastnet pub delivered. its delicious great job to the chef. it was my first visit to this location, but i will be back. i noticed plenty of dartboard and a pool table as i wandered around. it was a little early for much of a crowd, but the patrons seemed to be having a good time. theres also lots of beers on tap. parking: its tough in downtown newport.
