First time at blackhorn tonight. this is a 60+ yr old school establishment, but somehow always missed it. been looking to fill the spot since smith brothers closed during covid. had their lamb chops, chicken souvlaki, peppercorn steak, and rib eye special. everything was cooked to temperature and delicious. meals come with a side of fries or potatoes, veggies and salad or soup, great value overall. see them replacing both our steakhouse and greek food cravings. sorry danforth. well be back.

Got the special for 16 oz steak with side of fries. service is a 10/10, the cashier was super friendly atmosphere 9/10, personally i m into retro kind of decorations but it will depend on different opinions. some cleaning might be needed at the menu area. the fry were okay, a little bit on the bland side but i guess i can sprinkle salt myself as needed. the steak is super juicy and cook to a perfect tender medium rare. might need some salt or gravy cause it s a little bit bland

Moxies grill and bar has never failed to impress us with their food, and our recent visit was no exception. our go-to dish, the thai chicken salad, is a flavor explosion packed with protein. its consistently delicious and keeps us coming back for more. we decided to try something different this time and opted for a burger. it was a delightful surprise – fresh, juicy, and everything youd want in a burger. one of the highlights of moxies is their ever-changing lineup of seasonal cocktails, and we always make sure to try them. these creative concoctions add an exciting twist to the dining experience. while the ambiance was amazing and added to our enjoyment, we did encounter a minor hiccup in our visit the service was a bit slow. however, the fantastic food and overall atmosphere more than made up for it. moxies grill and bar continues to be a favorite destination for us, thanks to their consistently delicious offerings and enticing seasonal drinks.

Black dog pub never disappoints! we go here from time to time as it s a neighborhood establishment, has been connected to the community for a very long time and has great food, ambience and service. always look forward to coming back!

Another hidden gem in scarborough. great european continental dishes, very tasty schnitzel! elegant (but not pretentious) restaurant, wonderful location in spring & summer, with restaurant overlooking greenery in park. nice for family gatherings, friend get togethers or date night. highly recommend!

Food has good flavour! noodles can be a bit oily but still tasty. they could also improve even more with a wider selection of beers. the dining area has a decent modern design and vibe: several tvs on both sides of the restaurant for live sports with a central bar area. you can even hold a private party with enough seating for 30-40 people and live music!

Delicious hot crispy and saucy wings. we got 30 wings, 1/2 with honey garlic which was generously doused in sauce containing real honey and 1/2 with bbq sauce. we also got a seasoned large fries. these are the best wings, you wont beat the taste or value, $33 for all that. this will be our go-to wrong place from now on. thank you for the delicious meal.

Great mediterranean food! yes, its worth the hype. had some good quality shawarma after a long time. quantity is good. service was also good. price is reasonable. tip: if you are really hungry, find another place cos you have to wait a little bit to get your food here as its crowded almost all the time( which is definitely a good sign for quality food). couldve improved the seating and the air conditioning a little bit. had a tough time with the heat inside the store as i was dining. overall, sumac is a must try!! will definitely visit again.

My fav restaurant nearby! the food is absolutely amazing, so unique and delicious! especially the fish and the beef! the service is great as well, very friendly and welcome. def recommend it!

Well let me tell you, the pizza here was really good and at an affordable price which is tough to do in this city. the pizza was well crafted, nice sauce and cheese, high quality ingredients. a real good pie! the staff was super nice, pizza came out hot and fast. my only grievance would be the white garlic sauce. it definitely had too much garlic salt in it, it had the back of your throat note of raw spice. maybe less garlic salt and actual roasted garlic and this would have been an ultimate pizza experience. i got the sausage, goat cheese and roasted red peppers and all fantastic toppings! plus they have a pickup special where if you pay cash it s 8.99 for a 2 topping medium! a must go to in scarborough for real great pizza
