I live in the ironbound, but the prices and quality of food is so much better here. the meat is of excellent quality and the service is great. if you come on a sunday like i did, get here before 1pm because it gets packed quickly. the place is small but very nice. the parihada for 2, is enough for 3 or 4.

What a phenomenal experience every time i go there. last night we had a fundraiser for special olympics. the owners, management and all the staff always go above and beyond and helped to make the event a huge success..thank you

Its white castle. you either like the food or you dont. however, if you like the food, this is one of the best white castles i have been to. the inside is large, spacious and clean. the employees were polite. the food was fresh and tasted great. wheelchair accessibility: the parking sports are right by the door and level woth the parking lot.

Love this diner. it is nowhere near me (about an hour away) and i will drive out of my way to hit this diner any chance i get. the service is always spectacular, the place is always clean, and the food is always good. all food comes with a bowl of soup and extra sides, which is brilliant for customer satisfaction – and the coleslaw and macaroni salad sides are perfect. the soup choices are excellent. i love everything about this place. if it were closer to me i would be here all the time.

Hadn t seen this place in town and decided to try it out and the food was pretty good. i thought the chicken kebab would be meat cubes on a stick; it wasn t. felt like a chicken patty/ chicken burger. it was excellently seasoned and the salad was fresh on top was fresh but wasn t what i was looking for. but it tasted good and was fresh. the owner was really nice and pleasant. he was working as a one man show when i went and i was impressed. the store was also really clean with the smell of spices and herbs that made me more hungry i hope it gets more foot traffic and busy because the food was good! check them out

Service was very good and food too… we were very comfortable there… our waiter was always coming to the table to check on us (kinda annoying sometimes, but its okay). we ordered 3 drinks, 2 appetizers and 2 meals and its wasnt expensive… would recommend… parking: a few spots only around the restaurant

I had a fantastic experience at suspenders restaurant and pub, probably my fourth time here so that means it s time for a review. the team, and our outstanding server david, made the evening memorable. the chicken franchise, bang bang shrimp, and sausage rigatoni were all rich in flavor and exceptional in quality, making it impossible to pick a favorite. i m eager to return and try the fish and chips next time. the diverse menu and welcoming atmosphere at suspenders truly make it a standout dining destination. kid-friendliness: family friendly pub.

Food was amazing crispy fries and baby backed ribs packed with flavor and full of love. service was top notch! constantly checked up on my table and were very friendly. atmosphere was amazing. full of nice people and the trivia game every week is a must try experience overall 5 starts amazing time!

I went on a thursday during happy hours. since i entered the restaurant the host was very attentive and kind. the place was clean and inviting. i got the strawberry margarita. it was a big portion and delicious. just for 5 dollars. i also ordered the fried calamari and they were fresh and also a generous portion as well. if you try this place you wont be disappointed.

So accommodating! reserved the smaller room for an after-funeral memorial and karen was phenomenal, informative, genuinely caring and easy to work with from the very beginning! the ambiance was warm and inviting, and with a bar that felt like cheers it was obvious this establishment was a local favorite. the food and service were great! thank you so much for extending all courtesies to the guests after an emotionally exhausting day. it was immensely appreciated!

Neighborhood joint with some good food. i had shepherds pie, it was a little skimpy on the veggies but an awesome meal anyway. tasty, hot, obviously prepared with care. bartender karen was very busy but stayed friendly and on top of everything. no hesitation to recommend checking it out.

If you find yourself in union with a grumbling tummy, you need to go here! you cant go wrong with this authentic soul food spot. the food is made fresh on the spot so it may take a little longer to get, but its worth the wait. anyone who says different doesnt know what good food is. i had fried chicken, collard greens, and mac and cheese with lemonade. for $25 i left with a full happy belly. the food tastes amazing! that was the best collard greens ive ever had. the fried chicken was crispy, tender, and exploding with flavor. it looks like a little hole in the wall from the outside, but dont let the cover fool you. whats inside will make you want to come back for more. thanks to the staff for being so hospitable!

My favorite portuguese restaurant whenever im in nj. i usually get the half combo. couple days ago i tried the appetizer sized cooked clams, with garlic and onions. loved it.

We were able to find parking with no issues. we were greeted and seated immediately. service was perfect. our server gave great recommendations for us and they were spot on. our food came packed with flavor, so much so that i stuffed my face and didnt leave any to bring back. the drinks were good i ordered the margherita (mango) with grand marnia and tequila. i would return for good authentic food with good company.

This past weekend, i had the pleasure of dining out with my family at this incredible restaurant that serves authentic colombian cuisine. the food was simply delicious, and i could tell that they used natural ingredients and cooked with a lot of care and love. the staff was incredibly friendly and kind, and i appreciated their hard work in providing us with such wonderful meals, snacks, and baked goods. it truly felt like i was dining in south america, with genuinely happy and friendly people eager to serve us. naturally, leaving them a generous tip was the least we could do. i highly recommend trying their beef soup (sopa de res), which comes with steak, rice, plantains, and salad. the portions are quite generous, so come prepared to eat. additionally, be sure to order something from their bakery and take something home for breakfast the next day. if youre looking for other recommendations, i suggest trying their fresh juices (orange, passionfruit), espresso, pan de bonos, pan de queso, and chicken and beef empanadas. overall, i highly recommend this place to anyone who happens to be in town!

Tasty portuguese style barbecue chicken, which in my opinion is the best kind of barbecue chicken. once you have portuguese barbecue chicken, you won t wanna have other kinds of barbecue chicken. anyway, this place was pretty good and the prices are reasonable. good selection of drinks in the fridge, but in the future, i would prefer to call brand before i get there because they are busy. parking: this place is right off route 22 and there were enough spots for parking. i was there in the evening so i had no problems but maybe during busy times and lunch there may be problem parking not sure.

The food we had ordered was super good. got deep fried tofu, mango red curry, jasmine rice, drunken thai noodles. all really good and worth the price. fresh vegetables, served hot to table.

Hands down one of the best peruvian restaurants in the area, dare i say the entire state! truly authentic, attentive to detail, quality ingredients and a lovingly warm atmosphere. this is a family-owned business that truly cares about its customers and gets out of its way to ensure you are enjoying every detail. most peruvian places in the area, in my experience, are focused on volume as opposed to quality. here, the primary focus is the customer. thank you peruvian flavors.

Very good place to stop in for some peruvian food. my two friends are peruvian and they come here often . they finally invited me and i must say the food did bit disappoints the seco combinado was good m. ceviche, and passion fruit juice was very tasty and juicy. i would come back.

I had the patty melt that was absolutely delicious and disco fries that were perfect! the carrot cake i have for dessert was almost perfect, maybe just a little more icing than i would have preferred. our server was perfect although i waited too long to write this to remember her name unfortunately sorry.

I had a wonderful dining experience at mambo s. the appetizers were absolutely delicious, and the drinks were spot on. our waiter, christian, provided excellent service with a friendly demeanor. the only downside was our seating arrangement, as our table was placed near the entrance and waiting area, which was a bit distracting. people were practically standing by our table while we were eating. nevertheless, the overall food and ambience made for a memorable evening.
