Ok so its expensive, lets get that out of the way. the welcome was great and the hostess took us to our table very quickly. i mentioned in our reservation that it was our anniversary and the table was decorated with rose petals, which was a very nice touch. our server was very good, prompt, helpful and friendly. was able to explain the menu options in good detail. the food came out in a good time, was super hot. the steaks were definitely cooked/grilled extremely well. they were super soft and tasted delicious. sides were good but for 13 dollars they could have put some more asparagus on the plate… overall the experience was good, the food was great and well definitely be back. this wont be a regular friday night spot just due to the price, but great for special occasions!

First time dining here. definitely glad i had made a reservation. there was a line of people who were walk-ins. the waiter we had was extremely courteous and very knowledgeable. every suggestion he made was very delicious. definitely going to make plans to go back.

After a day of traveling i really wasnt wanting to get out for dinner. often the hotel restaurants are not a good value with a captive market. johnnys was a pleasant surprise. fresh baked bread and the chefs homemade capatavi was excellent. i want really very hungry and chose a smaller entree, i barely managed to finish it. tip of the cap to the chef. i think the only thing i questioned was an upcharge to get a small caesar salad over the the side salad it came with.

We stopped in based on a recommendation made by the hotel clerk…..and wow !! what a great local place. the food out of this world and our waiter was phenomenal! we will definitely go back next time we are in town.

Very good food. fast service a little pricey but definitely worth it. waitress was very helpful and efficient. went on a friday at 5:30 and was starting to get busy. cant wait to come back.

First time here with the family 12-9-23. was looking for something new and different, definitely a different routine. the staff is great, great atmosphere with music. the food is fantastic and i will definitely come back to this place and recommend it to friends and colleagues. i liked the top sirloin it was great, my 8 year olds enjoyed multiple things also very juicy and full of flavor.

The gentleman we had as our chef was funny and made sure to keep it interesting. the food was all delicious and was served up and cooked quickly and perfect. we had never been here before but we will definitely be back. we also had the salad that is not on the menu and it was absolutely delicious!!!

Let me talk to ya yeaaaaahhhhhh !!!!!!!! this restaurant is 100% the best place ive been to ever in iowa! and i have to say……… that apple caramel cider martini omggggggggg that drink should never ever leave the menu. . secondly my alfredo was so good, creamy, and authentic, i got mines with the bacon and mushrooms, the garlic bread so delicious, soft and very full flavored sheesh my baby my man ordered that ny style strip steak medium rare, with asparagus with the de burgo butter and it made everything!!!!!!!!!!!!! taste so much better. his choice of alcohol was the fall mule, i tried a sip and said it needs a little bit more ginger and lime, because the orange definitely stood out more than anything. but again!!!!! you must try that caramel cider martini it is absolutely amazing !!!!!!!!!! and is my favorite!!!! outside details plenty of parking spaces,( free parking) wheel chair accessible, conveniently next to gas station as well. but let me stop talking i gotta let the photos talk for itself. oh update that cheese cake so freggn good and rich. the sandwiches are okay for lunch but dinner is wayy better wheelchair accessibility: yes wheelchair accessible
