This location has now been visited by us twice. this time was just as good as the first years ago. the food was heaven. every. single. dish. the waitress (kasey) along with the staff that brought out the food and even doggy bagged it were respectful, polite, had enough personality that there were laughs and that means a lot. we had a great night and we appreciated the services there. we recommend it! make a reservation!

Alex our waiter was nice and upbeat. it was extremely busy the parking was a little hard to find but it was okay at least they have plenty of parking. the food was delicious we ordered the steak potato stuffed potato and potato soup my daughter loves potato soup and their bread is soft and delicious. the atmosphere was nice the people were very nice it was fast and the food was delicious highly recommended.

This is my partners favorite spot. went there around 7 pm, and it was empty besides a family at the patio. the service was fast, and the food was amazing!!! my child had the seafood broil for the 1st time, and he finished the whole thing. the owner, alex, came to greet us and made sure we had everything to enjoy our food and time. music was super dope; they were playing old skool r&b. definitely recommend this spot for couples, families, and friends.

A friend brought me here for my birthday for the first time and i was most definitely impressed. good food, great service, and a great atmosphere. definitely will be back soon.

Recently, while traveling and stopping by a friends place, we stumbled upon a newly opened restaurant and decided to give it a try. we ordered the chicken wings and lamb over rice, and they exceeded our expectations. both dishes were served piping hot and fresh, bursting with flavor. the chicken wings were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, while the lamb over rice was incredibly tender and savory. needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be returning for more. highly recommend giving this place a try! hey! a big shout out to the young owners of the franchise!! really nice people!!

I ve heard for many years how joey garlics is really good, i m a good distance away and don t go that direction. this weekend i was finally able to try it and it did not disappoint. i had never had eggplant fries before and let me tell you they are addicting!!! nice green salad came with the meal and the penne a la vodka was one of the best sauces i have had in a long while! my mom had the marsala which she said was super good. our server was also fantastic. good portions, good food and nice service all around!!

Great customer service and selection! so glad this popped up in the neighborhood because we needed a good sushi spot! we have only had the opportunity to do pick up orders but the price point is good, portions are as expected and correct, presentation is good 99% of the time (weve gotten a roll or two that was kind of messy but taste was not affected!). this is definitely our new spot!

If you are looking for a good vibe and lively experience this the place. live latin jazz was playing and everyone as vibing. the service from the host and till we left was on point. very accommodating and super friendly. the food is tasty and the drinks were delicious. i highly recommend you experience it at least once parking: i got lucky and was able to find parking right away. kid-friendliness: lively atmosphere that s suitable for kids. decent kids menu.

My experience at goldburgers was exceptional in many ways. once you enter the store you get that nostalgic feeling as if you entered a space in time and have gone to a classic burger place of your childhood. i order the bacon, egg, and cheese burger, blue and gold burger, large fry and drink. everything was incredible. the only thing i was bummed about was the price of price of fries. i paid $10 to add a large fry and drink with my meal. so if i was eating a large meal for myself, it would be $21 for a combo. that s a pretty steep price, so when i come back i think i ll just get a burger on its own. parking: there is limited parking in front and more parking in the back

Hidden in the corner, somewhere in newington. tokyo cafe was a pleasantly delicious and wholesome surprise. my partner and i decided to venture out and try somewhere new and we may have just found our new regular spot. the dining room doesn t have too much seating (6-8 tables max) and i would definitely consider it an intimate but cozy vibe. we frequent sushi of all calibers, this isn t meant to be compared to nobu or other establishments of the sort. it is an excellent neighborhood sushi restaurant. the food was fresh and delectable . my partner really enjoyed the kani salad as an appetizer. she said it was unique in taste and refreshing. i had a house salad with ginger dressing and the miso soup which was just what i wanted and what you would expect. we also shared the pepper tuna tataki absolutely delightful. i must mention all from the dressing to the consistency of the kani salad, this wasn t the generic all you can eat, run of the mill spot. the very nice lady that waited on us was very attentive and put care into her work. the sushi itamae delivered with a beautiful presentation and construction of the sushi sashimi combo 4 us . we finished the meal off with some fried ice cream and left happy and full. i would recommend this place and we will be returning.

I was traveling some cities on the east coast and got together with my relatives in connecticut. my cousin who lives not too far from this neighborhood recommended this sushi place and made a reservation for our family get-together. after finishing our amazing sushi dinner, i realized why he loves this place so much. everything was just so fresh and delicious. we ordered tamago sushi for the kids and the chef cut them in halves so that they can eat it easily. everyone was so friendly and nice. great food, great service. i so want to come here again next time i am in town. the whole family really enjoyed our dinner. by the way, they won many awards and they ve been around over 10 years.

Absolutely the best meatball grinder ive had in any restaurant in conn. sliced to eat and not wear, and accompanied with potato salad is a definite winner. i live ought of town and ive brought some close friends in…who are also italian, and they agreed with me how good the meatball grinder is. the wait staff is friendly and hard working and some have been employed there for years. ive been going there since the 90s. see you soon!

This diner was really good, bordering on fantastic. it was a true retro dining experience straight from the 1950s. there is counter and booth seating in the main part of the diner, in addition to the dining room attached to the back. i went in wanting a burger, but got sidetracked with a ruben. i do not regret my decision. my only disappointment was that the milkshake didnt have any whipped cream on top. that would have been the bees knees: just simply swell. the olymia is conveniently located on the berlin turnpike, if thats someplace thats convenient to where you are. if it isnt, than it isnt. for dessert, i enjoyed the mud pie. im not sure how authentic it was, but it was pretty tasty. i could wax poeticly on how eating here transported me through time to a time when the future was less chaotic, but that wouldnt be necessarily what youre looking for in a review. what i will say is that i enjoyed my meal despite how my lactose intolerance reacted to that delicious milkshake i enjoyed. mind you, i knew i would suffer for having it, but as i came here to relive memories from over two decades prior, it was well worth the sacrifice to my nights well-being. vegetarian options: there were a few items on the menu without meat, though to be honest, i didnt study the menu too studiously. there could be more than i realized. dietary restrictions: please inform your server if you have any dietary restrictions. parking: set back from the street by a little bit, there is a surprisingly large parking lot with plenty of spaces. kid-friendliness: as much as i detest to admit it, this place is kid friendly. as i was brought here as a kid, i wouldnt deny that experience to the next generation of disappointments. they have at least one high chair. wheelchair accessibility: theres a ramp in the front and tables in the back. the aisle offered wide passage. the bathroom, however, wasnt that accessible.

Great hot dog spot with tons of toppings, and lots of other food options, not just hot dogs. service was fast and friendly. atmosphere is 60s themed but fast food looking – could probably have a more restaurant-ish 60s theme that would look a little nicer. loved the hot dogs and the sweet relish is delish. reasonably priced. tables all had stacks of old trivial pursuit cards, which was cute to do while waiting for your food. will def stop here again when in the area.

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant! i m so glad i work near this place because it s a great spot to order a quick healthy meal at a very reasonable price. i can not begin to explain how tasty the churros are!! i ve ordered churros at restaurants before and i never like them but these are so mouth watering and tasty. the burritos are out of this world. loaded with whatever you want!

Awesome place for a quick pizza by the slice place. the pizza was delicious and they had a wide variety of toppings. the have some limited seating inside.

The food is really good. we love the service at the bar. its our preference. the drinks are really good too. the service of ernesto & nelson is top-notch. they are an amazing team when they work together.

Ordered ahead for 12pm and it was ready on the dot. otis made a good burger. compared to some other spots, i prefer mooyah burgers because no matter the toppings, they always seem to come out quicker, not too dry, but not overly greasy and drippy. wish there was more locations in ct. place is also strangely always empty which obviously makes things quicker.
