I just stumbled across this place in a rush to find something for lunch. it was so good. amazing philly cheese steaks and crispy fries. fast, delicious, and its a small place with a unique environment.

** military & veterans: support this business – ** my aunt had me here twice out of my 3 day visit – very fresh food & flavorful. i stopped doing buffets , right before c19. . . i am so glad my aunt dragged me here. welcoming staff , mgr & owner. food was so fresh & hot (mid-week yall ) – both visits. wont lie. i wanted a 3rd round , lol – . . . tuesday was military day so that was a nice touch. the owner doesnt have to do that. esp. in this economy. so that was a cherry on top. . . thank you sir ! oh & waiter frank & sheila , never change :^ )

I eat at a lot of bill millers around san antonio, but i have to say this may be the best! super friendly staff, extra delicious food, good portions, and a clean, lively atmosphere! if youre in the area, id definitely make it a point to stop here!

Small place with great service and excellent mexican food. tried the morning monday special. two breakfast tacos with coffee. the price was super and the tacos were even better! inside it was clean and nicely decorated.

***update*** i came back and ordered the plate i originally wanted. i will tell you that i was greeted with kindness as i walked in the door. felt like family. water took seconds to get refilled, and the food was wonderfully tasteful. the pork chop had such great taste i was happy. i was hungry but had to rewrite this review, because the food was so tasty. i applaud the cook on his cooking. i had an amazing experience here and i recommend this place. your taste buds will thank you! ———————————————– it would have been 5 stars but cheese was melted and they didnt have a plate i wanted that was on the front window. the food was good, but im usually upbeat. id say its still a good restaurant to eat at, but the vibe can be changed to enhance my experience here. all in all if your hungry and cant find somewhere else to eat, this place is a decent place to consider. i couldnt find anything around the area so thats why i popped up here. let me know what you guys think if you try it.

Youre not going to this place because of how pretty the burgers look. no, youre here because the burgers are good! the restaurant itself is nicely adorned with license plates from all over the country. there are plenty of vintage signs used as decor as well. and you may even find old articles from defunct newspaper companies. the claim that their burgers are the best in san antonio is true… but what they dont tell you is that the title was earned around thirty years ago. obviously a lot has happened since then. even with the stretched truth about having the best burgers in san antonio, the burgers are indeed quite good. well seasoned beef patty, proportionate amount of veggies and condiments, and even the bun, albeit literally smothered with poppy seeds, is light and tasty. definitely no longer the best burgers in town, but still remain in the competitive side of things for one of the best.
