I cant give enough stars for the staff and ambiance. top notch customer service and the feeling of being welcomed was above and beyond. had 4 different signature drinks, and the maverick old fashioned was so perfect. coming back here for the april full eclipse so we were doing some recon, and now i cant wait. i live close but this is a great way to get a nice comfortable room and enjoy the band, the great food and drinks and of course excellent servers with smiles on their faces. ……oh and the graceful presence of maverick the cat. love this place.

The first time here in overall food was good service was quick and because youre in a bar there is always going to be some music playing. had philly, turkey club and cubano. reason for 4 star on food, was turkey club was a lite on meat, and lettuce was over wilted. french fries and sweet potato were great. overall a good experience, and will come back.

Very tasty! service is quick and parking in the gravel parking lot makes it for easy in and out. small town creamy feel that is great for visiting and grabbing a burger or a reuben…. and even my favorite the chicken sandwich. my family and i often swing in here when we visit canyon lake and we head to overlook park or north park to take the kids for a sunday. prices are good and theres a little park out back for the kids to play in a shaded area under the trees next to a creek that flows by the hillside. picnic tables and the shade tree had the finishing touches to this hometown drive-in. theres quite a wide variety on the menu so definitely get the fried green tomatoes and fried pickles on the side!

We came in with two tired kids and walker was so kind and accommodating to our little family! he made sure the girls had their favorite drinks and snacks so mom and dad could enjoy a happy hour beverage together. he was so friendly and answered all of our questions with joy. we will undoubtedly be back as my brother now lives in the area. location was a bonus as it s right in front of mystic quarry, the rv park we stay at. thank you walker for showing there s still good in the post pandemic restaurant world!! kid-friendliness: outside dining and we were the only ones out there so the kids felt even more free to enjoy themselves.

Food was great and came out hot and right! my philly and sweet potatoe fries were especially delightful not to mention the nacho appetizer that was devoured by the table before i could even snap a pic it was so dang good! beers came out cold and our server shayna was a rockstar. the fact that kids eat free mondays and saturdays makes this even more of an ideal spot for our family to come back to again and again.

Great home style cooking from this privately owned restaurant located in a nicely converted old house or shop. the large parking lot may be full at peak times because the food here is awesome. we were here for breakfast, but they have many lunch entrees as well. the breakfast section fills two pages on their menu, and includes various us combinations of eggs, bacon, canadian bacon, hash browns, home fries, omelets, pancakes – both regular and specialty flavored, waffles, chicken waffles, and more. portions are large and the service is friendly. come on down & get yiu some!

Flavor: a+ service: a tea: a solo dining: a this is a killer burger. i got the double ringer and couldn t finish it. and i can throw down some burger. all of the seating is outside so i wouldn t go on just any day. but the flavorful, greasy (but not too greasy) burger will be bringing me back again and again.

We were sat within five minutes of arrival. the service from beginning to end with ryan was quick and attentive. wine samples were brought at no charge, salads were tailored to our liking, and the entrees were absolutely incredible. we ordered both specials, the halibut with shrimp and lobster ravioli, and t-bone lamb and tomato rigatoni. everything was cooked and seasoned beautifully. for dessert we ordered the chocolate mousse cake and gelato which was the perfect cap to our evening.

Best little secret in the area. a true hidden gem. the brisket is delicious and the sandwich is stacked huge. sure beats driving into town for bbq that isn t even as good as this. i order over the phone and pick this up within 5 minutes. doesn t get any better than this. i know my texas bbq very well and this is definitely some of my favorite. i would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. parking: plenty of parking but it s bumpy

Stopped for a late lunch after an afternoon of hiking along the nature trails nearby. the southwest chicken salad did not disappoint and the chips and homemade salsa were also good. generous portions so i had to take a large amount home with me. the service was also friendly and attentive.

My husband and i came in from dallas to visit my grandparent s old property on canyon lake. he found d vine on a google search and it was amazing! the best chicken quesadilla i ve ever had! the atmosphere was friendly like eating a friends home we will be back!

Hands down, the best mexican restaurant! my husband and i love this place. the food is authentic, made to order, and the staff is always so friendly. homemade tortillas are my favorite. the skillet fajita is actually sizzling when they bring it out. huge plates of food for reasonable prices. you can absolutely tell that the owner takes a lot of pride in the quality of his restaurant and service. 10/10 recommend. and as a 100% mexican who lived in the valley and moved to this area last year, i approve!

Perfect spot to stop for lunch after going to the market. prices were reasonable, and the food was tasty. we got the pulled pork, smoked corn, and mac n cheese. the mac was rich and delicious, corn was juicy and sweet. meat was a touch on the dry side, but i prefer it that way. i would 100% recommend having a nice lunch outside at this little stop off.

My husband & i came here for the first time for dinner. it was busy & we had a 10 minute wait. to start the rolls tasted delicious! they came out warm & you could tell they were fresh. the calamari appetizer was on point, perfect crispy batter. service & prices were reasonable. the atmosphere was comfy. we ll be back!

The menus says we dont serve fast food so please allow time as we are preparing your food, made to order (or something like that). and they really mean it. a great hill country restaurant located in this perfect spot with wildflowers in the front. the wait was shorter than quoted. every single item we ordered was excellent. nothing mediocre about any of it! we ended up ordering multiple quantities of items as we started eating the first one. and were going back tomorrow :) service. we are all yes, paying customers. but sometimes some establishments go out of their ways to make our experiences homely. this is one of them. one example. i think a manager noticed my husbands iced tea glass was empty. she came and asked if he needs a refill and he said yes. (wait, it gets better). by the time she was walking with the iced tea pitcher, our server too was walking our way and asked if she could take the pitcher. the manager still came with the pitcher to our table and served the iced tea. old school customer service that is becoming extremely rare these days. it all happened within seconds and said a lot about the management. im sure locals already know about these guys. if youre visiting the area, please be sure to give them a try! oh, and you can take some great photos outside the restaurant :) :)
