The cabin is a delightful neighborhood bar, that s a cut above in cleanliness and decor. staff are friendly and safety-focused, and the regulars care about the space and its patrons as though it were a second home. the cabin has created a real sense of community. highly recommend

This place is a gem! the food (chefs kiss), is phenomenal. the staff and especially the owner, great people. so much more on the menu i want to try. beer selection absolutely goes well with everything ive had so far. so long as the place is there, its going on my permanent recommendation list for german cuisine in chicago.

Really yummy sushi! loved the decor and atmosphere, service was amazing and attentive and the food induced the happy wiggle you do when you eat something really yummy! i will be back! my personal favorite was black widow, but absolutely everything was delicious!

Customer service is great. not a long wait to be seated or greeted at the table once seated. lovely atmosphere. free parking in the back. alcoholic beverages to make a nice brunch spot. and the food here is so good!! recommend trying !

It s always about the basics of cooking and wildfire delivers. hot food hot and cold food cold. ask for a medium rare steak and get a medium rare steak. seasoned to perfection! our server, hank, was wonderful. attentive, polite, warm and friendly. bravo to chef and their crew. another wonderful meal.

Excellent service and excellent entrees! perfect spot for a fancy date night or special occasion. our waiter carlos was very attentive and had a great sense of humor. he made the dining experience memorable! also, the menu is overwhelmingly delicious- i will be back to try more entrees. i highly recommend the grilled calamari and shrimp to start and that you save room for the bananas foster – which is prepared table-side. my husband had the ribeye steak, friends had the broiled branzino special and i had the fresh fettuccine with king crab and leeks and diced tomatoes with a touch of cream. pasta is house made and fresh. portions are generous and entrees come with salad or soup. i will be back! you can park in the lot across addison by la fitness for free.

We went to shokran based on my sons suggestion. we ordered harira, chicken casablanca, spicy garlic shrimp, chicken kebab. chicken was seasoned very nicely. it was tender and nicely cooked. vegetables on side did not have any seasoning. i wish they add some seasoning to that. over all great ambience, nice food and service. one thing to be aware of – cash only. there is big sign at the entrance. still entire family missed to read the sign when we entered and luckily we had cash

Cool decor, bright paintings, reasonable prices, exceptional color usage and great food, who could ask for more? first time customer and didn t know too much about cuban food. waiter was patient and explained everything i needed to know and the results were a great dinner. looking forward to going back and sitting outside in their comfortable covered seating area!

Great place! bbq was amazing! had the baby back ribs, brisket, and pulled pork! mac n cheese and corn bread is really good, too. weve got some pretty good bbq places in detroit, but this tops them all. we were very happy with the food! service was super fast and friendly, too! gotta hit this place up when in chicago!

I came here for dinner with my husband and went for a variety of appetizers, some drinks, and a shared ph , and loved everything. the coconut milk mussels and five spice quail were particularly tasty, but we also liked the firecracker shrimp quite well. the ph itself was also excellent! since we went a monday night it wasn t super busy and we could be seated with a party of two right away. we also had very attentive service

So glad i tried this hidden gem!!! ive always been curious about this place bc its kind of in an odd location not near any other restaurants on a busy street. we came on a tuesday evening. we were the only ones there initially, we were seated immediately and served right away with green salsa red salsa tostito chips and water. the salsas were delicious and definitely tasted homemade!! we ordered the red posole large, steak tampiqueno which came with rice, beans, avocado, salad, cheese enchilada, and tortillas, and also the taco dinner which comes with 3 tacos (ordered red pork), rice and beans, no drinks just water. red posole $13 pro: -pork was super tender and delicious -the garnish of white cabbage, white onion and limes were fresh -tortillas looked and tasted handmade! not sure if they are con: -the broth wasnt as flavorful as i thought it seemed a bit watered down and didnt have a kick to it i did add the red salsa and it was better would not order it again though. steak tampiqueno $21 pros: -fresh tortillas -fluffy rice -fresh avocado slices -steak was juicy and tender cons: -the cheese they melt onto the steak was a little heavy for me, the texture wasnt great gooey like putty/glue but flavor wise it was fine -the rice was fluffy but lacked a bit of flavor, it was good but not the best -the steak was a thick cut so it was difficult to eat in the tortilla like a taco i had to cut into tiny bite size pieces, its not like your typical skirt steak served in tacos thats thinly sliced, this was half an inch thick piece of steak so i would not order again bc of the thickness. if you dont mind a thick steak then try it, flavor wise it was good. 3 pork taco dinner $15 pros: -they stuff them very well with meat and garnish like tomatoes, cheese, lettuce -the red pork was very tender and flavorful!! -fresh tortillas, probably handmade no cons for this one, would order this taco dinner again!! my favorite part was the service, the place is very clean, the waitress was quick about clearing tables and wiping them clean. our specific waitress was super professional and provided excellent service!!! she anticipated our needs before we even got a chance to ask and she gave us extra napkins, a pitcher of water, checked on us twice to see if we needed anything like more salsa etc. she provided us with small bowls to share the large posole without us having to ask. she was on it with everything!!! now thats quality service!!! 5/5 stars overall, the food was good just the rice and posole broth lacking some flavor but the salsa made up for it and the service was great! i will be returning to try their burritos, stuffed cheese peppers, and some dessert. definitely give this place a try!

Not only are the portions fantastic but the food is flavorful to match. let me also just say the service, wow!! very welcoming and making you feel like you are part of the community even like family. very excited to try the new dinner menu which begins at 3 pm. pizza and meatballs here i come. our server tiffany was on point with her suggestions and chiming in as we selected our dishes, making us feel excited about our food choices. lastly, speaking of choices the menus are bountiful and everything is fresh!!!! do yourself a favor and check them out.

Our recent dining experience at this restaurant was a delightful surprise, especially as vegetarians. often, we find that vegetarian dishes lack creativity, but here, the flavors were wonderfully elevated, using chiles and other spices that brought the dishes to life. the service matched the quality of the food, with attentive wait staff and a chef who was both friendly and humble, adding a personal touch to our meal. we left feeling not just fed, but truly catered to and appreciated. the only minor room for improvement was the cafe de olla, which didnt quite hit the mark, but their regular coffee was excellent.

I had an amazing anniversary dinner here. our table was right at the window that overlooked the river, it was a beautiful view. one i miss since i no longer live downtown. the food was delicious, the service was perfect, the noise level was pretty low, i didn t struggle to hear my partner. it was a very special evening, thank you s&w!

My wife and i chose to eat here for our dinner celebrating my birthday. i ordered the wagyu ny strip and my wife had the chilean sea bass. the ambiance of the place was excellent. the wind off of the water was perfect and while there were many diners, it didn t feel crowded. the wagyu steak was quite simply the best i ve ever had. it was cooked perfectly and accented with a lovely, nuanced sauce. the smoke added at the table enhanced the flavor and was fun. gerald was our server and he was knowledgeable and professional. i cannot recommend this restaurant enough. just go.

Been here quite a few times and every time we have enjoyed everything we ordered. the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly its always been clean and smells great. during the weekend its quite lovely having live shows. service is incredible never have i ever been here and felt forgotten or like im just there.
