Wow, the food has amazing flavor. both the wagu and the chicken breast are mouth watering. great atmosphere and service. the bourbon selection is top notch. recommend an old fashioned, it goes well with the meal.

Under previous ownership/management i loved the big ranch house salad – salad with any meat of your choice chopped up over it. – but i just wasnt a big fan of the bbq. it was okay imo but not outstanding and i didnt care for their sauce at all. havent been in in a while and decided to stop in today for a salad with chopped turkey. the place was so bright & cheery and you could smell the smoked meats. i saw a picture advertising a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw called the boss hog for $9.99 and could not resist. i also ordered a side of potatoes, cooked country style with seasoning and onions. the guys behind the counter were friendly, and the girl at the register was sweet. at the drink & condiment area they have 3 different sauces (!) so i got tea & picked a bottle of sweet bbq sauce. the young lady brought my sandwich out quickly. it presented beautifully but i had to take the onion rings off before i could attempt to hold it to eat it. so i ended up with 2 sides – both onion rings and potatoes . the sandwich was delicious! sweet tender pulled pork topped with sweet crunchy slaw, and plenty of meat. and the sauce was really good. i am now a fan and cant wait to go back. they have several other things on their menu like steaks, catfish, grilled fish.

So 1st i m super glad they had a changing table for babies because these other small restaurants don t have them which make it hard to change my kids. 2nd music was great and had my kiddo dancing in her seat. 3rd food was really yummy i got the #3 spicy it has more sausage than other stuff but still good. loved it over all!

Delicious bbq, that was very reasonably priced. i got brisket, with two sides. my friend absolutely loved the mac & cheese. i enjoyed it too but she raved about it. the man who served us was very attentive. next time im in ennis, ill have to try some other options on the menu.

The young lady christine that speaks 2 languages was wonderful.. she made sure that we felt like we were at home. we came down from cincinnati, ohio and ate there every night hoping everyone treated us like christine did we had her 2 out of 3 times.

My wife and i happened to be in ennis and decided to stop in to give this place a try. the hostess and our server were very attentive to our needs and were just so polite. we ordered the pick 3 app platter (fried pickles, fried mushrooms, and wisconsin cheese curds), monster potato, and a rueban sandwich with a side of fries. guys, this is some real home cooked vibe delicious food, and honestly, not even expensive as it seems to be. absolutely amazing all around.

Amazing taste and great staff! lots of food options to choose from each with a unique balanced taste. totally loved my meal here, both vegetarian and non vegetarian. the ambience is great too with lovely crowd. clean place and well kept.

We went in after the hay maze. from the outside, we joked about the hap hazard look of the business and questioned our choice, but decided to check it out anyway. im so glad we did. even though the service was a little slow, the food was amazing. the waiter was competent and nailed our order. it was hot and on point. the flavors sport loads of real butter and cheese and not the standard sams fair we get around here. the lasagna was crispy on the outside and deliciously moist in the middle. the stuffed mushroom appetizer was delicious, and they gave you enough sauce to put on everything else. the chicken alfredo had plenty of protein. their bread is plain and blah… that is my only complaint about the food. nice strong tea also. the art in the place is clearly painted by hand and adds so much to the inside of this hap hazard design of a place. a must go.

My husband, kids and i went here today for the first time ever and it was amazing! the hostess that helped us was very friendly and nice and even made car noises for the kids when she brang their meals. we absolutely loved it!

Update 12/16 (and updated pics of the bomb a** food) sammy (area manager i think?) reached out and was the sweetest! she apologized , and i apologized for acting like a karen, but she totally understood the principle and was super understanding! she gave me free meal vouchers to use if i decided to try them again. we did and it was an entirely different experience. food was great and so fresh. everyone was friendly. i really appreciate the effort they made to let me know that s not how they want customers to feel and that they made things right. 9/5/23 one star only because my dog really enjoyed it and he s pretty picky. this was the nastiest food i ve had while spending over $50. i never complain but this was such a rip off. girl at pick up was rude. 7 pieces of okra. macaroni was sour. cfc pure rubber. i called to speak to manager like a total karen and was so embarrassed to even call, but this was $50 worth of food we could not eat! they hung up on me 3x! don t go here!

We discovered freddys a few years back while out on a road trip. it was exciting to get the new one here close to home. the food is very good. the frozen custard is fantastic. it is not a very large menu but enough choices to have an enjoyable meal. vegetarian options: they have a veggie burger option. parking: stand alone building. plenty of parking. kid-friendliness: family friendly restaurant wheelchair accessibility: handicap parking. easy access to the sidewalk and entrance.
