This is by far the best experience i ve ever had in. restaurant. period. the food was timely and perfectly cooked. the brussels came out after the main food but they were the perfect temp just hot enough but didn t burn your mouth. that sweet and spicy heat best lobster i ve ever had. was almost like a steak itself! the cheesecake. don t get me started i make cheesecakes on the side and this was insane.

Great stop to have a few drinks at the bar. also great atmosphere for a fine dining experience. no dress code required but appreciated. i love the ruths old fashioned and the string fries made in duck fat. perfect amount of seasoning. bartenders are always on point, keeping up with everyones orders. some street parking but just as easy to park in the attached garage.

My girlfriend and i had an early valentines dinner here and were very satisfied with our experience. for appetizers we had the gouda crab dip, delicious, wine for her and the bourbon mule for me. she had the korean bbq salmon with stir-fry rice. i had the filet medallions with wild mushroom risotto. finally, we shared the bananas foster for dessert. the food and service were excellent and we would very much be interested in a repeat.

My wife and i wanted to try something new for her birthday today, 2-10-24. we drove a little over an hour from ohio and we enjoyed an absolutely fantastic meal here at chops. food was great, lydia was on her second night working by herself and couldnt have asked for better, she was on point. thank you dear. she even paused to take a pic with the birthday girl. thank you all for a great experience. we will be back.

We had the most enjoyable birthday dinner this evening. we started with warm appetizer sampler, which was a great choice. each item was delicious, with the shrimp taking the top prize. i ventured out and got the grilled romaine salad. one of the best salads ive ever had. the house made ranch was fabulous and im not a big ranch fan. we also had 2 orders of the caesar, and those were both good also. for dinner, we had the wagyu ribeye, regular ribeye and chilean sea bass maxwell style. holy cow! each was top notch. having eaten at the downtown high end steakhouse a couple times, i will now choose eddie merlots. our server, misty, was efficient and friendly. our experience tonight exceeded our expectations and ill go to bed tonight thinking about that shrimp!

My husband and i had an amazing time there. we absolutely loved it. the food was absolutely amazing and so were the drinks. our waitress was amazing. it was our first time there. we both got steak. the food was kinda pricey. our bill was $108 for 2 people. but we will absolutely go back again.

I felt like i was at home! starting with the hostess, she was amazing! she led me to my table with a very warm and charming smile and attitude, asking me questions about my visit to the restaurant if i had ever visited their location. just off that experience, i knew i was in for a treat and would have to come back again another day. my waiter was a very nice guy who made sure i had everything i wanted and needed, and continued to check up on me throughout my visit. while i was waiting on my dinner, one of the managers came over to my table and asked me about my stay (visit) in indiana since she heard i was from and lived in ohio. she then gave me a warm welcome and this nice gift of a bag of their famous peanuts, a coupon, and some info on their restaurant. this is the most friendliness texas roadhouse i ve been to and some of the most friendliness and hospitable employees i ve ever met. the food was great but the employees were greater. texas roadhouse for the win!

We decided to go out tonight valentines day to this incredible restaurant. we have never been here and decided to try something new. the prime rib here is to die for it basically melts in your mouth. the homemade sourdough bread is so good. there wasnt anything that we tried that we didnt enjoy immensely. savannah our waitress went above and beyond to make sure that our valentines day meal was excellent. she treated us so kindly and even talk to us a little bit as we are from out of town. she knew the history of the place when we asked questions and was very knowledgeable of the menu. the atmosphere was absolutely incredible. i give this place a 9.5 out of 10. i would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody.

Ribs were delicious, garlic broccoli was sooo good i could have very easily ordered two servings of just that. service was quick and friendly and the restaurant had a really cool vibe. tried the southern peach iced tea cocktail, very tasty but very strong. will definitely be coming back. potato skins were also delicious.

I d put black canyon in my top 3 favorite restaurants in ft wayne. our 1st visit, definitely going back. food, every bit of it, was perfectly prepared and delicious. personable and professional server, great service and atmosphere made an unforgettable evening!

We had a 5:30 reservations and were seated immediately. that usually doesn t happen anymore. food was fabulous and the service was outstanding. my water never passed halfway. definitely will recommend to family and friends.

They have the best rolls in the town. they come out piping hot with butter to eat while youre waiting for your meal, they almost melt-in-your-mouth i had the barbecue chicken with fries and took my other side home. my brother had the american cheeseburger with fries. our friend had the deluxe bacon cheeseburger and fries. everything was delicious parking: the front row is handicapped and the other rows are for the regular. i believe they have a couple spaces on the side for pickup orders, wheelchair accessibility: they have a couple spaces that are wider so you can get a wheelchair through and i believe there is a ramp, but you can only get in the building on one side.

I dont have the time to go rate the other steak houses lower, but if youre reading this and if ive given any others 5 stars…i was lying. gas house is the only place ive been to that made a steak correctly. the closest any other has been, that ive been to, is le cellier. they got the crisp on the outside, the tenderness and the doneness, but left a ton of chewy, inedible white fat. gas house rendered the fat so as to be so soft and good, at least on the ribeye i got. the ribeye came resting on a bed of andouille hash, topped with fried onions and with two sides. i got german potatoes and soup of the day (chili). the chili was… chili. can you really perfect that? some say you should never try. the potatoes, though, actually upset me a bit. ive been trying to cook german food for a while now, and these potatoes were better than every attempt i ever made at using red cabbage in any dish. my girl got jambalaya risotto, which came with a few big shrimp on top. she got sauteed mushrooms and onion rings as a side. im not a fan of shrimp or mushroom but can concur that whatever good things youre thinking the risotto tastes like, youre right. for dessert i tried creme brulee for the first time…i didnt like it, though i believe, from what i know of the dish, it was cooked properly. so i add this dish to the same category as mushrooms and shrimp. she got carrot cake, which was dense and good and, like the chili, it was carrot cake. probably best not to get too creative. all that, a mountain dew, texas mule and kentucky mule (the markers mark was a little heavy here, but you do mostly pay for the booze after all) the bill was a hair over $100. it was worth it enough for me that i will go again and try their other dishes, even some ingredients id be loathe to try at other places. my only real criticism is how out of place the branches with the lights on them are. id say either plant those in a smaller room, so the amount of available ceiling doesnt dwarf the decoration, or just go all out. but it really doesnt fit in, regardless, as cool of an idea as it is on its own.

I ve been wanting to try this place for years. i came on a friday and was definitely glad i made reservations. it was very busy. we were seated at a high top table in the bar. it was a bit cramped, but still a cool vibe. the drinks were great and the food was outstanding quality. the staff was very attentive and friendly.

#7 stop for the biscuits and gravy tour led me to the fantastic, sunday morning brunch buffet at trolley bar on dupont. almost everything available is self-serve. just like all the rest of the spots, i made a plate by breaking a biscuit in half and covered it with only gravy, essentially making a half order. they dont make their biscuits in house, but they do make the gravy on site. i think its the meatiest gravy ive had so far. the texture was really good and i didnt need to add pepper or hot sauce to enjoy the plate. definitely a good option. if you started with the pictures, you know the biscuits and gravy are just a very small part of what trolley offers on their brunch. i did take 3 short videos of different areas of the food, including the salad bar. (please check them out.) its been a few days, but ill try to describe as much as i can without missing anything. i dont know if they set it up the same every week, but im sure its close. the end of the table has a couple different styles of cinnamon rolls cut in a little bigger than bite-size pieces. some have nuts and some do not. they are marked pretty well. the left side of the table had biscuits and gravy, pancakes, shepherds pie, walleye bites, mac and cheese, meatballs, and scrambled eggs with and without meat. i put a little bit of all of it on my plate. the walleye bites were absolutely fantastic! they had great flavor and were very flaky. the shepherds pie was very close to what was expected, meat on the bottom, mashed potatoes in the middle, and a very generous amount of cheese melted over the top. it could have been a full meal by itself. not too much to say about the rest of this side, besides that everything was seasoned well, hot and fresh. the right side of the table of course starts with the overwhelming amount of cinnamon roll again. it was hard to not get another piece. this side began with cut fruit, cheese cubes, and pepperoni. the next thing, was what they call an apple french toast bake. it was really good, and reminded me a little of bread pudding. there was syrup nearby, but it was sweet enough without it. the next pan had hash browns. i would have liked them with some sausage or ham cut up, but im sure they dont do that so people that are vegetarian can enjoy them as well. the next pan had bacon and sausage links. they were fine. the last thing on this side was the salmon. this might have been the star of the breakfast for me. it was done well, and so good! i picked up two squares of it, but probably should have only had one. worth it. there is a side table near the end where a member of the kitchen staff carves ham and prime rib for guests. it was a little late in my meal, but i tried a small chunk of each. if i wasnt trying to sample everything, i probably would have started at this spot. in addition to everything i mentioned above, the fantastic trolley salad bar is all fair game as well. it is available all the time as an add-on to entrees or sandwiches. you can also enjoy the salad bar all by itself, which i have done many times and its very satisfying. at the end of the bar rail, there is a build your own bloody mary station. there are multiple options of different pickles, peppers, deviled eggs and meats on a stick. i didnt order it, but its $12. im not sure if that gives you just one pass or more. hopefully, you get a chance to try the sunday buffet. it is offered from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for $21.99. Club soda is a downtown staple. the cocktails and smoked gouda dip never disappoint. the atmosphere is cozy and unique while the piano/jazz music on the weekends is quite the magical touch. the staff is wonderful and the food is always delicious. parking: side street parking.

I love this place! had such a wonderful conversation at the sushi bar. we just love to sit up there and watch the art be created out of food. the quality of the sushi was exquisite. my daughter as shes in very interested in learning how to make sushi, got an opportunity to watch and learn from the experts. oh and if you are a miso soup lover theres is some of the best i have ever had. such a beautiful addition to our meal. take a glance at some of the images we captured and be sure if youre in this area you stop in for their lunch!

I can only speak for their sushi and it is the best around! my wife (celiac disease) and i (gluten intolerance) eat gluten free and they always take care of us! their fried rice is gluten free as well so that is always a nice touch. we love this place!!

Excellent. the cocktails were delicious, and the food was top notch. i got the pork chop which was cooked perfectly, and served with very good dirty rice and an interesting, spicy, pea salad. my wife got the pasta which was delicious. service was prompt and unintrusive. the atmosphere was bustling, lively, and comfortable. a very good – unexpectedly good – if expensive, restaurant.

First timer! i have family that loves coming here so they needed to bring us when we were in town. the food was all warm and flavorful. we ordered the bonefire for 4 and took home just as much as we ate there. victoria our server was so friendly and super attentive. she heard it was my first time so she kept checking in to see how i was liking it. also, i appreciate there is coke zero on tap

The entire experience was great from start to finish. i ordered the my way or the highway burger/fries, a drink called sweet heat and the apple tart/cinnamon ice cream. they started us off with bread/crackers with butter and some type of chopped olive spread. everything was delicious. the decor is very nice and our server was awesome! i can t wait to return. i would say dress up a little, this is not an applebees.

Always amazing! everything weve had has been fantastic. this time we had the hibachi steak, the snake river farms kobe ribeye, and an extra shrimp appetizer. also recommend the pineapple whip or blue long island to drink.

This place has a really good prime rib and filet. the setting is a bit dated but the food makes up for it. we had a bloody mary flight which was just ok but the two appetizers (aji, tuna and bacon wrapped chicken liver) were really good. wedge salad was fresh and french onion soup was tasty. like i said the highlight of this evening was definitely the meat. it was most excellent and we all enjoyed our dishes. the dessert was a german chocolate cake and it was also really good.

Have been here quite a few times and as you will notice when you experience it yourself; it is no mistake why it is one of the top restaurants in the fort wayne area! service is always excellent! incredible knowledge of drink and food menu so that you can be sure to find what you like. all the food on the menu is prepared with care and of the best quality. they always have fun new cocktail creations to try as well! atmosphere is warm and cozy, upscale perfect for a date night or entertaining your friends from out of town.

We stopped at henrys restaurant for dinner and we had a great time. the server was friendly and able to answer questions and make recommendations. the food was hot and made to order. the atmosphere is friendly and inviting and offers plenty of seating. parking can be a challenge when it is busy, but there is a large lot in the back. parking: parking next to the restaurant may be tight. there is a large lot just north of the restaurant. wheelchair accessibility: the front entrance has two manual doors and a step. unsure if there is an accessible ramp.

Our server tiffany gave exceptional service. she anticipated every tables needs down to the extras. food was hot and delicious. the servings were more then plenty for the price. we will be back!

The food was amazing and he even offered us new things to try. please try the lemon pepper fries theyre so good! he was so sweet and ensure our daughter got everything she needed. very polite, staff kept it very clean, even as far as watching them temp oil as they did things, it was very impressive. overall, very nice, would highly suggest to anyone wanting to try something new. the gyro burger with everything on it tastes amazing.

I love that their food is made fresh to order. the chicken strips & the philly sub are my personal favs.. i also appreciate that the staff is respectful & friendly. i will be returning.

This quaint and cozy fort wayne staple never disappoints! the seafood is always cooked perfectly and the service is consistent. my favorite dish is the cioppino. their clam chowder is some of the best here in town! the interior is a bit of a speakeasy feel. the inside is smaller so i would recommend making a reservation if you re coming for dinner, mainly for the weekends or a group larger than 4.
