Im pretty sure this is the best location, ive only been to a few others, and they were good. if you live out here in lake jackson, you have the best. this one wins. it is located inside the mall but you can see it from the outside. sherry ann and i went in and sat at the bar. the bartender was very hospitable, personable, and attentive, and i dont think i ever saw her on her phone . its weird that i noticed that, but i did. she was there to work and gave her customers all of her attention. her name was leslie and it was her birthday. we were there right before 5 pm, and the place was already busy, not packed yet but getting close. we had two managers stop by and greet us, then came back to check on us. it was a wednesday. these guys are doing something right. our food came out fast, fries catfish, and pulled pork. i ate almost all of both our dinners. sherry just ate her two sides of chili and salad along with one of my filets. the food was cooked perfectly, and if i could, i would have thanked everyone in the kitchen. cold salad plates, hot side, and hot entree plates. this is attention to detail that higher end restaurants cant get right, but this place does it on a wednesday afternoon seamlessly. i wouldnt drive to the other locations by us in houston, but this is a destination restaurant. that is the criteria for michelin star.

Great place. stopped in for lunch. great menu. i was seriously impressed with the 102 brews on tap! the six point super raspy was refreshing and very tasty. the creme brulee stout was fantastic! ill be back!

This is one of the most amazing places i have ate at in a while they were so kind with the service and the food was absolutely delicious. i dont know our waiters name but i know that she had a tie-dye phone in her back pocket and she was so sweet. i got the texas style boneless wings tossed in lemon pepper and i can tell you so good they were not full of grease they were crunchy the chicken was juicy and yummy.

Cool place with an awesome wine list and food menu that rocks. super good service too.

So we were the only black family there but we were welcomed and everyone was amazing and nice and kept conversations going with us on the kids spring break and service and food was fresh and homemade and i definitely will return to try more items on the menu and portions perfect as was price and looking out back the view was cool for a mini waterfront lunch

I ve been here several times over the years and it s always good. the fried shrimp and fish, and grilled shrimp are all great. definitely give it a try if you are looking for decent seafood for an exceptional price!

Our friendly and attentive waiter dmarcus (sorry if the spelling is off–we failed to ask ) only added to the excellent lunch we devoured at the swamp shack saturday! yum-yum times about a million! especially liked the light and crispy fried pickles, boiled & fried shrimp, and the house made tartar! our party of 7 was super impressed our orders were taken, entered by memory, and delivered without any issue!! spot on! way to deliver 100% customer service, keep it up!

Best restaurant in lake jackson. we love beef obradys. the entire staff treats you like family as soon as you walk in. we have become weekly regulars. (we love whitney) they serve impossible burgers someone like me, who has a meat allergy (alpha gal syndrome) vegetarian options are a blessing. the soft pretzels, fish and chips, and shrimp with fresh salad are my favorites. my husband is obsessed with the chicken wings and their burgers. sorry, i have no photos. our fat butts eat the food, and there is no photo shoot. vegetarian options: impossible burger.

First visit and it was amazing! we sat on the patio and waitress offered water for my dog. the staff is extremely helpful (suggested the onion rings and they are delicious). the burger was very good and the chips (fries) were perfect. we will definitely be back!

Good food, good service, and good decor. unfortunately, the most obvious objective is to get as pack in a large crowd, feed them quickly, and move them along. the missing soft serve machine was just another disappointment after such a mediocre lunch. a large parking area is close to the main entrance.

This place has always been one of my wife and i s favorite place to visit. the servers there (holly and pacey) are very knowledgeable at their job and supply quick service on adult beverage refills! just want to show my appreciation to them and the establishment for always going above and beyond to show us a great time.

Best pasta ever!! even got a free dessert for my bday, watch out the chocolate cake will make you drool. great waitress as well.

My wife loves the sushi and salmon don here, and i really like the orange chicken. the portions for the orange chicken and other dishes are very large. i always end up making two meals out of this dish and it s only about $13. also i would recommend the garlic edamame, it s really tasty. if you are looking for a good sushi place or in the area and hungry i would 10/10 recommend this place!

Staff were awesome, food was lovely only thing was table was a little sticky underneath and restrooms were sticky but that gotten be from the cleaning stuff

Aloha! this is the spot in lake jackson for tropical drinks!! they have an amazing happy hour for half priced drinks (tropical storm) from 8pm-9pm!! we had the sharable chi chi nut punch, the suni haze and the malie circus. all were mixed in house recipes from their mixologists, our bartender gaby was very friendly and knowledgeable. we ordered some food as well, we got the kalua nachos, was a larger portion than we were expecting, large chips and plentiful toppings, polynesian riblets which were fall off the bone with sweet and spicy sauce (was our favorite) and the backyard shrimp boil ramen, the broth was spicy, but was very flavorful and had plenty shrimp and fixings. we will be poly popping again soon, we really enjoyed the lovely chill atmosphere with candle lights and the delicious food and drinks. thanks gaby!!

Incredibly cool establishment! great staff, very cool location and their mission is amazing. counter service with table delivery. the place was packed, yet the food came out hot and quick. their onion rings are phenomenal! their burgers are heavenly, and the staff was so pleasant. if youre wanting a great low key local dining experience, come on by and sit for while. youll leave full of food and blessed.

Arrived here at 8pm on a friday evening, hostess opened the door for us. service was really nice and came to us quickly. the chicken fried steak entree was delicious, the green beans were excellent and were very buttery. the truck stop deluxe ribeye was underwhelming unfortunately, it lacked seasoning & did not meet the price price point for what it was worth. the green beans that came with it were delicious though & so were the mashed potatoes. i really enjoyed my espresso martini and found it to be a great complimenting drink with desserts. my favorite delicacy was the carrot cake, but i also enjoyed the toffee cookie. the desserts and drinks for sure are excellent! will return again but will try other entrees. this restaurant is worth trying!

I always stop by here when im in lj. the food never disappoints. this time, the service was kind of slow. surprised me because it looked like it was a slow night. the floor staff were all young, but they were very accommodating ill definitely be back
