First time here, sirloin cap and short rib was so good! meat was cooked and seasoned perfectly. short rib was so tender that it almost melted in my mouth. they also have a variety of cooked food and fresh salad bar! you can choose all-you-can-eat or price by weight, which is very flexible for customer with different needs. both options have unbeatable price in boston. the staff here is very friendly. will def visit again!

Alba Restaurant
4.6Alba Restaurant, 1486 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02169
At alba quincy, fine dining in comfortable elegant surroundings provides patrons with dry aged steaks, the freshest seafood, and the finest wine list on the south shore for nearly two decades. our seasonal menu showcases the restaurant’s relationships with local farms and purveyors. alba quincy boasts one of new england’s largest roof decks. in the warmer months, our beautiful roof deck is complete with its own bar, roof deck-exclusive menu items, like salads, lighter prime beef options, and fresh-caught local seafood with plenty of seating on one side and our produce and herb garden on the other. louvered roof can close depending upon weather, allowing for al fresco drinking and dining even when it rains.

Fox And Hound Tavern

Contemporary american grill fare, wine & cocktails offered in a polished space with sunday brunch.
One review mentioned:
I was checking the fox&hound out as a possible destination for thanksgiving dinner away from home. i came alone and chose the bar so not to waste a table. the bartender was very busy as a party was taking up a large portion of the menu. i was in a red wine mood as the weather was at the point of chilling the body up. i was pleasantly surprised that the owners get the concept of offering awesome wines by the glass. the selection of both reds and whites were at the top of any fine list. i enjoyed 3 different reds that i am still thinking about. one was better than the other. i chose the salmon with mashed and an unusual slaw. now slaw is not on the top of my sides list but i have learned that great chefs pair foods better than the average diner. the slaw was so good i will be going back and pay extra for this culinary masterpiece. the salmon was done perfect and was an actual portion. not the dainty portion some restaurants offer. overall the experience was a ten star review . the only negative was that when dining alone the multiple tv s may keep me enjoying dessert and another glass of wine. it was a weekend and not one football game was on the multiple televisions? the food and wine will bring me back for more. put fox and hound on your list. the bartender got a 50% tip as she was alone on a busy weekend and i appreciate the tipped employees who work hard for their money. dietary restrictions: this is the type of restaurant that can cater to your needs with fresh food cooked perfectly. make this restaurant one of your go to places.

This is an excellent casual restaurant with some incredible food at reasonable prices. great staff, great food and a nice view. i ve been going there since before i moved to quincy point in april of 1999. i ve never had a bad meal or even a lousy time in all those years. i think that pretty incredible. oh, and the best fireworks show on july fourth! truly awesome parking: there is usually plenty of space for parking. maybe not on a weekend evening but, usually it s not a problem. wheelchair accessibility: there is a ramp to get in and out of the front door of the restaurant.

Zef Cicchetti & Raw Bar And Alba
4.3Zef Cicchetti & Raw Bar and Alba, 1472 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02169
Venetian-style small plates plus raw bar, charcuterie & bar scene in a brick-and-wood space.
One review mentioned:
I have been here for dinner several times. it can be a bit confusing as the building/door is under the banner of alba steakhouse and the zef cicchetti part is all faded like it doesnt exist anymore. fear not! its all one and the same. you have to go to the door on the corner to get into the establishment, including the rooftop dining. the rooftop is very nice, with a full bar and tv, that is perfect for warm days. the restaurant is basically broken into three sections. the upstairs rooftop deck, and then the three dining areas downstairs. one is mainly booths and seems more upscale dining. then there is a bar/dining area and then a smaller table section beyond that. i have eaten at each of these except the downstairs bar. each time, the servers have been attentive without rushing. the food was always delicious. if you are a big seafood lover like i am, you can order crab cakes and raw oysters for an appetizer. these were the best raw oysters ive ever had in my life. for entrees we got the diavolo linguine and the grilled octopus. both were very tasty. we also got an order of truffle fries with turned out to be addictive and i have ordered every time i have returned to this place since! it all paired nicely with a chianti red wine. suitable for solo, friends, families and dates. more upscale and pricey but well worth it in the food! parking can be a bit of a run around on this busy restaurant street, so you may need to drive up and around the side streets to find parking. there is a small free parking lot on the corner of hancock and walter j. hannon that may have spots.

Great local establishment featuring a modern take on american fare. drinks were complex without being too pricey and all the food i had was great. i really recommend the duck, really neat balance of textures and tastes combined to make quite a delicious dish. the owner was there working himself which is always a great sign and shows their passion and commitment to quality and service. i walked 2 miles to get there and it was definitely worth it, go try it for yourself.

Came in late evening and got provided service instantly. it wasn t too busy, and the manager himself greeted and seated us. we ordered a jumbo platter and it came out fairly quickly. manager also brought out our drinks and was very friendly when holding a conversation with us. food was quite good – we ordered hot, which wasn t that spicy to us, so next time we ll come back for the more spicy option. overall loved it! would recommend.

Contemporary bistro with a long bar offering sharable snacks, classic mains & sheet pan pizzas.
One review mentioned:
Lovely little restaurant in quincy. very friendly and accommodating staff, and the food was so delicious. atmosphere is pretty laid back, not too loud so you can have a conversation, but not so quiet that you feel you have to whisper. biggest complaint is that they didnt have any specialty rum drinks on the menu, but they surprised me with something very tasty anyway, so im not too miffed about it lol. looking forward to going back and trying the pizza.
