Thur. oct. 26, 2023 i treated myself to lunch. brittany t. my server, was absolutely wonderful, attentive, & kind. i was so pleased with my dining experience i gave a $20.00 tip for my meal of $33.77. parking: plenty of parking available.

We love this restaurant! my hubby has a dairy issue and the wait staff have no problem helping us. besides that, the food is amazing! hot, fresh, delicious and the best margarita i have ever had. carla, our server, made us feel like royalty. she noticed when our drinks were low, asked us how our food was, was available to bring more dip and bread, but was not a pest. chatted with the manager on the way out, nice guy, loves his job. well be back with our friends.

We came here with a big group of our family so we were stretched across 4 tables which is completely fine. we expected this as i know their seating is limited. i would recommend a reservation as this location is very busy. but the food is fantastic and the drinks are great! we had 2 different servers for our group which is great! they both were very attentive and everything was brought out quickly and correctly. i will always recommend this steak house! parking: paved parking lot for part, the other part is a field right off the paved lot. kid-friendliness: they do have a kids menu here that does include steak.

Best in town with the best prices in all of rockford!!! outstanding customer service, friendly and professional bartenders and you are always greeted with a smile! celebrate any occasion, plenty of seating!! the food is top quality and cooked to perfection. forget outback steak house, get your next steak at whiskeys!! great steaks and great menu that wont break your wallet! where else are you going to get a quality cut ribeye steak and eggs for breakfast. you will not be disappointed!! the manager and owner are super professional and friendly!! which means you need to take friends and family to whiskeys!!

The best thing is, the restaurant is located in the midst of a cluster of hotel chains. it was so close, we could have walked to it. even though the parking lot looked full, the place is big enough to handle a crowd. they also do a good carry out business. i had the chicken marsala, that was exceptional. the clark burger was very good. we had prompt friendly service at the bar. numerous tvs were tuned to different stations.

The food was wonderful, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was delightful. me and a couple friends came here for halloween and our server was a funny kitty cat man and i would die for him, probably. all the vegetables during the growing season and grown in a garden owned by the tavern and because of the seasonality of vegetables their menu often rotates which is very refreshing and you can tastes a difference as opposed to other resturants. the staff were all delightful and very friendly and not afraid to make some jokes. the drinks were very tasty if a bit pricey. overall great place to eat and always great to support a local buisness, just be warned that it is a bit pricey but i feel it is well worth the money!

My daughter has always loved coming here! she orders the chicken sandwich. its fried fresh, and the focaccia bun is almost the best part! good food and great service. never a disappointment! food

A terrific stop in rockford with quality food and attentive wait staff. they have a vegetarian menu so be sure to ask. pasta primavera is a great choice. its a great atmosphere and they can handle large groups. vegetarian options: ask for the vegetarian menu parking: electric charging is at the back of the restaurant. you need to tell them at the door so that they turn on the charger. one j plug and three tesla charging cords.

The best swedish pancakes! great breakfast buffet and other swedish options too. gets very busy and crowded on weekends, can be a bit noisy, but great for families. for christmas they had a santa and a live reindeer!

We walked in and were greeted right away by a friendly hostess. after a long day of work it was nice to enjoy dinner in benny s dining room. starting with the delicious complementary bread and olive oil. our waitress was the perfect amount of outgoing and she was very attentive. the soup and salad were both yummy! and our main course was also wonderful. it was also nice to say hi to benny, as he came to our table to make sure all was well and it was! parking: the parking lot was spacious and well laid out.

I used to get very poor customer service from this location and i initially gave them three stars. but lately the customer service seems to have improved. the food is good, except for that half of grilled cheese sandwich thats supposed to be a whole. and if youre looking for a fast food option thats vegetarian or vegan, you may have to tweak some things but you can find that here.

Ran into this place on a whim… love the rock theme. the decor is great! had some of their boneless wings, garlic parmesan, and hot. wife had the chicken burger, with cajun fries. the food was amazing! very clean place, employees were very nice. bathrooms were clean as well. looking for some good food and great music this seems to be the spot.

Quiet, folksy place with good food. my wife and i both had fried chicken. it was outstanding. meat was moist, and the skin was lightly battered and crispy. service was decent. slow but friendly. overall, it was a very good experience. we ll be going back.

Abreo has wonderful artisan cuisine downtown rockford with friendly staff who are happy to explain their dishes with locally sourced ingredients. the best way to experience is to order a bunch of plates to share. the winter menu had some wonderful choices to satisfy everyone and the drinks were creative with great flavor profiles. vegetarian options: there were multiple vegetarian and gluten free options on the menu.

This place is amazing. from the food to the drinks a fantastic experience. the perfect pisco sour is an all time favorite and their entrees (the ones that we have had) are outstanding. my wife and i s new favorite spot. the ceviche is a dish i now dream of in my sleep. the service can be a little slower when busy but everything is well worth the wait. i look forward to more pisco sours and authentic peruvian food.

Great place for meeting up with family or friends. great hosting and event space also. the food is very delicious and decent price for a group of people. the drinks are good but their food is their strongest point. in my opinion the ratatouille was great but not overwhelming, however their burger was phenomenal. staff has been amazing each time i have been there and is great on a busy night. parking: might need to park at the bank next door

This is a great place to have breakfast or lunch. we sat on the patio which provides a serene and inviting atmosphere setting to enjoy a meal. i enjoyed the flavors of the fresco apple chicken walnut salad along with fresh squeezed juice. the overall experience was delightful however, its worth noting that the service was a tad slow, which might be a minor inconvenience for some. nonetheless, it didnt overshadow the pleasant time we had. for those planning to visit, i would suggest considering making a reservation. if possible, i recommend requesting a table on the north patio, as it offers a charming view that enhances the dining experience. we sat on the east patio which was still delightful but not as great view of the gardens. my photo of the gardens was taken after lunch while strolling though the gardens which was a beautiful way to finish up our day here. i highly recommend visiting the gardens before or after your meal.

Wow!!! where do i start. we had been here years ago and loved our experience. so, when the opportunity arose to come back with a group of 4 other couples we gladly did so. once again, we had such a great experience. its a smaller bar, nestled in downtown rockford within walking distance of numerous other establishments. its warm and cozy atmosphere cant help but put you in a relax mood. they got us sat a little before our reservations and we quickly ordered a plethora of small dishes to share. the charcuterie board was a bit expensive… however, it did prove to be worth it based on the variety of delicious items that came with it. we also shared their take on tacos and fee other items that i didnt cant their names. the drinks were fantastic and the presentation was on point. i had a few old fashions and topped it off by ordering a drink that not only was exceptional…. but the manner in which it was made was awe inspiring. flames and liquid nitrogen smoked up the room.. we had so much fun and were planning our return before we even had finished our time there.

What a great surprise! went to this restaurant with low expectations and it was a wonderful surprise! it is not just food, it is the experience. good food, great service and atmosphere. prices also very good, we were in a group and the best choice was the dinner for 2 with upgraded option for fillet mignon. the salad and soup as starters also very good. i would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the city.

The service at this store is fantastic. i am a fan of the food, the fruit cup is amazing. we come here all the time, and the employees are friendly and offer great service. i think in the years weve come here, weve had one order where we missed a straw, thats it. they have a drive-thru system that is the fastest in the area. its clear they value their customers. my go-to meal is the crispy chicken sandwich with a fruit cup.

Got together with family to break bread together! the food… chicken alfredo was good with my mozzarella sticks. and the shark drink was busting. im like hold up,i need another one. good atmosphere. laughing and talking watching the game, movie ot tv .

I dont understand why this place was quiet on a saturday evening because the food and service here are phenomenal! the pub burger was honestly the best cheeseburger ive eaten so far, my partner even said he wished he ordered it too. but, he did really enjoy his food as well. our server was polite and professional, and the atmosphere was cozy. definitely will be stopping by again in the future.

Went with some friends for dinner before catching a show and loved it. the food and service was amazing. make sure to come hungry because you get a ton of food. if you order wine, be prepared because they fill it to the tippy top. i can t wait for our return visit!
