I love this restaurant! i ve been here a few times, but my husband and i went for dinner valentine s day. jordan was an amazing server! she was friendly, quick, and i never had empty drinks. the food was really great. i love the crab cakes and my husband always gets the filet mignon. the brussels are awesome, but please note they are sweet. the bread is delicious too with the herb butter. my husband didn t like the valentines cocktails. i just had water and had a good laugh watching him drink it since it was $16. overall we will be back for another date night. the fireplaces and atmosphere is nice. i ve had hit and miss experiences with servers here, but jordan definitely was amazing!

This was the first time we dined her. the experience was amazing. my youngest was a little afraid at first, but the chef did an amazing job. all three of my children had the best time. if i had one complaint, it would be that i ate way too much. that is my fault though.

Its been years since i was at the half penny. a group of us went there on st patricks day and really enjoyed our experience! it was *very* busy, so we waited patiently and eventually got a table. we ordered food, had drinks, and enjoyed the band and bagpipers. the owner is friendly, and spirited! she and the staff took care of that busy st patricks day crowd including people who had to wait to get seated. weve been back twice since then, once for lunch, and once for breakfast!

My wife and i visited at lunchtime, with a cozy atmosphere, perfectly lit, and music thats not too overbearing, its easy to enjoy your time there amongst the buzz of neighboring conversation. well spaced, clean, with great service its easy to see why this business has thrived through the ups and downs of this economy. amidst all that, its obvious the real mvp of this place, the food, more specifically, these mfing armadillo eggs. my wife and i ordered the ram tacos, pork carnitas on flour tortillas, the beer battered fish and chips, armadillo eggs with a side of ranch and buffalo sauce, (if you havnt dipped in both, youre missing out) and a kids nugget meal for our little one. fish was great, perfectly dressed batter that doesnt overpower the seasoned fish, every bite was better than the next, until dissapointingly, it was gone. this meal was enjoyed with a seasonal pale ale that complimented the dish nicely. fries were hot and crispy, as they should be, enjoyed with or without dipping sauce. tacos were on a whole other level, the meat was incredibly flavorful, paired with those pickled onions was a hit that kept hitting until the last bite. ill be transparent, the rice and beans were not the move, although i still ate them, the rice lacked seasoning, fairly bland, which is no big deal, a shake of salt and it would have been fine, beans as well. (some people prefer it this way which is why its not a big deal) coming out at around $75 this was by far our best dining experience at the ram and we are glad to see they are still providing bangers with excellent, easy customer service.

Omg!! best seafood/regular meals! its beautiful, clean, entertaining, and comfortable. best food…wow! i even ordered a bunch to go after i was done. my taste buds were on a journey from heaven! the cooks know exactly what their doing! we also had a fantastic waiter named logan! he was so kind and patient because i couldnt decide right away. lol, i got a lot of food, and he was so nice about it. he answered every question, too! hands down 12 out of 10!

Went for the $25 for 2 entrees + appetizer special. was really good food for the price and didnt seem like a it was lower quality or smaller portions just cause it was the special. the steak was small but they offer an upgrade for $3 extra to have an 8-ounce cut instead of the 6-ounce cut. and the traditional buffalo wings flavor was tasty. not too spicy just a little heat. the only concern was how long it took for anyone to acknowledge us once we sat at the bar and how long it took for the server to take our food order.
