We fine dine quite a bit, and ruths chris was fabulous! the apps, main dishes, and cocktails were all delicious! it was the best calamari ive ever had, and i could cut my filet with my fork! the atmosphere and location are perfect, and our server, amanda, was very congenial and a pleasure to talk with. being in the hospitality industry, we appreciate that! well be back!

My wife and i had an amazing saturday night dinner at oliveira s. we did the ayce option which was the best way to experience everything that they have to offer. every meat that was presented to us was sooo tender and juicy. just a touch of salt to help really bring out the meats true flavor. by the end of the experience i thought i had to be rolled out of there because i was so full but i saw their case of desserts in the front and couldn t say no to dessert. i m sure glad i didn t pass on the dessert because it was amazing! the service was also incredible and they made us feel right at home. i would go there again just for the atmosphere.

Food was excellent. warm, and well cooked. the salad and the picanha were yummy. its literally the taste of homemade fresh food. the place is clean and the staff is very friendly and kind. definitely worth to check it out.

This place is a classic. solid comfort food from the 60s. large portions well prepared. the pork chops were outstanding with sides of squash, potato, and a popover.

Went on a quiet sunday evening and was impressed by the taste and quality of the food. impressive wine list featuring mexican wine and fabulous cocktails. the guacamole is my absolute favorite but the esquites corn is not to be missed! also loved the steak, grilled scallions, and potatoes! shout out to the friendly and attentive staff!

I went to the southern kin in assembly, somerville, ma, for the second time, and wow, what an upgrade in their food since march! starting with the appetizers, the devilish eggs, boasting beet-cured eggs, bacon candy, jalapeno, and beet chips, were an absolute delight–one of my favorites with an easy 9/10 rating! the corn ribs, featuring roasted corn, cashew sour cream, aleppo chili, and toasted pecans, were nothing short of spectacular. my brother declared them the best corn hes ever had, and i wholeheartedly agree–10/10! the mac n cheese, adorned with breadcrumbs, scored an 8/10 for its comforting twist, while the salad, while a tad standard, held its own at 6/10. the fried green tomatoes, topped with crab, grilled corn, cherry pepper salad, and garlic aioli, delivered a tasty experience, although the corn did steal the spotlight a bit–7/10. moving on to the large plates, the shrimp n grits, featuring andouille sausage gravy and cheddar grits, were a symphony of flavors. i especially enjoyed the sausage–7/10. we also tried their alligator tacos and these are so fun to try especially if you are an adventurous foodie like myself-trust me they taste like chicken 8/10 dessert was a sweet finale, and you cant go wrong with the chocolate peanut butter and peach pie slices. the chocolate peanut butter stole our hearts, and while the peach pie lacked a bit of fresh peach punch, it was still a delicious treat–8/10. in summary, southern kin has truly upped its culinary game, earning a solid 8/10 overall food rating. while affordability and ambiance both received a commendable 7/10, the diverse and flavorful offerings make it a must-visit for those seeking a delightful dining experience!

Last night i enjoyed a delicious meal at maya sol in east somerville. my fiance and i ordered a vegetable quesadilla and chicken fajitas. we shared both meals so we could try more of the food, and we were not disappointed. the marinade on the fajitas was so tasty that we both overate because we didnt want any of it to go to waste! the quesadilla was absolutely stuffed with veggies of all kinds and was delicious. portions were big, so come hungry. we got a lot of food for our money. we ate inside, which was enjoyable because the restaurant was so cute. would definitely recommend!

I recently experienced exceptional service, the staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. the food was absolutely delicious! we enjoyed mango margaritas, espresso martinis, street corn dip, mushroom chicken risotto, and yucatan tacos the chicken was particularly flavorful and juicy. our to-go orders of key lime pie and sticky toffee pudding were also delightful. overall, its a must-try!
