The new chef has made a big difference here. the two apps we had ( crab cakes , rack of lamb ) were delicious, and the mains were tasty and cooked perfectly as well. we topped it all off with a butter cake desert with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. we would go back to this historic restaurant again. parking: plenty of spots to park .

The lodge reminds me a lot of cheers! you walk in, and everyone starts to know your name the weight staff is always very friendly and often strike up a conversation which i find something special these days. the food options are always great, and there are always a few specials on the list that catch someone s eye. the draft beer choices are always rotating and changing which is great; often locally sourced. the bar area is always bustling, and offers a free pool table for patrons. there is also a large covered outdoor dining area for fair weather eating.

Always great food, great prices and excellent staff. i have never had a bad meal or poor service. one of the best places in town!

This restaurant location was the best dining experience i ve had in years. our server, brandon, was exceptional at his job. he made sure that my water was always refilled, the table was kept clean, he consistently checked up on my friend and i to make sure everything was going well, and he was quick to fulfill any request i made. the atmosphere? it was great. the restaurant has a really pleasant looking high-end interior. seating is impressive, made of a comfortably soft padded leather material. i felt like a king sitting down. the lighting was on the dimmer side, which is perfect for my liking. everywhere i looked it seemed the place was well taken care of. the food? it blew me away. my friend and i ordered the eggroll sampler for an appetizer and it was so good i was in disbelief. i never had food taste that delicious before. for a main course i ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl, which had plenty of flavor and filled me up with some more left over. my friend ordered the garbage burger which according to him was excellent. we finished off our night with a dessert menu item called the titanic . it includes chocolate lava cake, vanilla ice cream, chocolate ice cream, whipped cream, and a few different flavored syrups. i was surprised we were able to finish it, since the size of the dessert is enormous. overall just a great time at this restaurant. i ll be sure to visit this place again at some point.

The food is extremely fresh. they make the pasta and pizza in house and the food is never frozen. kitchen is very clean. family owned! definitely a must go for both dine in and takeout! dietary restrictions: gluten free pizza and other items can be made gluten free as well. parking: more then enough parking spots for the capacity of the restaurant. kid-friendliness: kids menu, chicken fingers, kids pizza and buttered pasta.. wheelchair accessibility: no stairs.. very accessible for wheelchairs.

Just happened to come across this place on a day trip through connecticut. the service was very good. the atmosphere was amazing. the drinks were on point in the food was perfect

First time back in a long time, service was excellent. our waitress was very attentive and patient with our large party. she even gave us a tamale sample seeing we never had them before and they were very good! our group ordered 4 pitchers of all different margarita flavors which were spot on. my husband and i ordered the brisket fajitas and they were amazing as well! we ended the night with coujito which again was incredibly delicious! will be returning again soon!

Stopped by for lunch today. as usual great food and waitstaff. miso soup was flavorful,packed with tofu, mushrooms and nori. the pad thai was sweet with a little heat. california was also nice and fresh. waitress was so friendly and kind.

The only place i know where you can order japanese in an all-you-can eat style, for a good price as well! there are many unique japanese foods in the ayce menu that i haven t found anywhere else. if you are a lover of sushi, rice, and noodles, you must put this restaurant on your list!

Wonderful real homemade chicken parm grinder, no patty here. the pizza is delectable, especially with toppings. i order a large chef salad often; salad is always fresh and olives are great as is the homemade balsamic vinaigrette dressing. the turkey and cheese are very fresh also. the service is great, friendly in a small cozy atmosphere. pat winn

Nice local spot for breakfast, very friendly staff, they are popular and can get quite busy. a lot of great seasonal and year round specials. the eight is enough and threes company are family favorite picks. fresh baked goods/treats also available at front counter.

Nice for a rainy sunday breakfast. very small and quaint place, tables fill up fast. service is fairly quick too. i had a spanish omelette (normally ham, peppers and onions, topped with salsa. but replaced ham for bacon) with hash browns. everything was great, and good prices. cash only!

Ive been eating dipalmas when visiting the folks in southbury (from ny) for a couple of years now. it was always good pizza. i ordered yesterday, and something is different. it was next-level, phenomenal pizza. so good that im writing a review. the cheese pie was just the right amount of thickness (pretty thin), the cheese was distributed perfectly, and it had the proper amount of slight flop. really, really good.

First time at denmo s and it won t be our last. didn t feel like cooking last night and dropped in around 7pm. short line. nice gentleman took our order, verified it with us before we paid so that there are no errors. i tried the pastrami reuben. it was awesome! my son had a half pound burger (which is 2 – 1/4 pound patties) with chili. he really enjoyed it. we also tried the fries, onion rings, and a small clam strips. eat them while their hot! food was ready within 10 minutes, cooked to order. about $50 for 3 people (with the extra clam strips because i had to try them), otherwise about $13/person. definitely recommend. parking: there s another lot if the one off main st. is too crowded. kid-friendliness: kids menu available. definitely has options for them.

Best gluten free pizza around! i just was diagnosed with a gluten allergy and was pretty bummed. however, this pizza tastes 10/10!! the size is bigger than any other gf place and the taste is not comparable! love it!

Had a great lunch here ….ordered the classic italian combo as is and let the sandwich maker do their thing …..was fresh ….full of italian meats …..the special made sauce…. sandwich was huge for the price of a subway footlong …left feeling full and satisfied…..

My first time at this establishment and i must say, amazing! the food is fresh. super clean. staff is friendly and always keeping busy. great dining area indoors with a nice patio outdoors. the souffle was delicious. smoothie – fresh. must try the vanilla cold brew! the general manager himself brought out food to us, greg. super friendly, very professional. 10/10 kind of place.
