My companion and i had an absolutely wonderful dining experience! we started with the escargot in mushroom caps which were absolute perfection. i had the beef tips with mushrooms and they were also cooked to perfection! my companion had a prime sirloin steak that was absolutely huge and he ate the whole thing because he said it was so good! we both had the twice baked potatoes which charcoal house has always been famous for and they were delicious! the service was excellent, friendly and attentive. we both agreed that we had not had such a lovely dining experience in a long time.

Yes it is, the best steak house love eating here. they keep the line moving, shout out your order, then they say next! chicken, steak, shrimp, and they famous tip potatoes, everything good! parking: you have to park on side of the street

This historic restaurant is quite the experience, to say the least. its dimly lit, has a dress code (jacket required for men), features table-side service…its probably the most fine dining i have experienced in st. louis. they do specialize in steaks, but also have seafood, pasta, soups, and salad. i got the lobster bisque and als pasta, both were wonderful. i got to try my friends dishes, and they did not disappoint. the service is old school, in that they treat the customers like royalty. its not cheap, but the food and service justifies what you pay. all in all, this is a restaurant youll never forget (and for all great reasons)!

We love it here. the steak and seafood both excellent. we came tonight for valentine s day. the servers wear tuxedos and are nicely dressed. the atmosphere is awesome as it is peaceful and romantic without too much flare. this is a highly recommended place for steak or seafood. you can t go wrong. trust me!

My husband and i came here tonight for our anniversary, and we had an incredible experience. a lovely man named jimmy sat us, and our server corey and his assistant waiter were awesome. they both went above and beyond to take care of us. the wine was amazing. all of the food we had was outstanding, but the house salad and the two dressings are other worldly!! we already cant wait to come back.

Great night celebrating my husband s birthday. the bread was delicious and free. the steak was delicious and cooked just right. the ruth s chopped salad was full of yummy toppings but just felt slightly too dressed. it took a while to get our steak and the manager eric was so nice to check on us and offered us a free dessert. the cheesecake was great.

I went here on a recent visit to st louis as it was just across the street from my hotel. the exterior is a typical office building look with a patio but the interior is really nice. i went by myself on a weeknight right before valentine s day so it wasn t busy at all. i ordered a drink, appetizer and steak and some sides and everything was cooked properly and delicious. they definitely pushed their award winning fried raviolis so i tried a few along with some scallops and they were good. next was a house salad and 8 oz steak top notch quality and didn t disappoint. definitely would come back again if i m able.

Mortons steak house happy hour is the best! the variety of food to choose from was different, and it wasnt your regular happy hour menu. the food was delicious from the bread and butter to the soup and drinks and the main course. can you believe you get all this at a happy hour? they have a great bar that is well stocked, and the bar maid is very well versed in her craft and takes pride in her job. all the staff were friendly and professional. the food and drinks were delicious and filling. you can use your comps and food allowance from the casino to pay for your meal. i cant wait to go back and visit them again!

Tomahawk, ordered rare, was perfect. the filet was ordered medium rare, but was cooked medium well, so it was not very enjoyable. the scallops were perfectly cooked and delicious. the baked potato was perfect. the brussel sprouts were wonderfully caramelized, the best ive ever eaten.

The steak was amazing. my mother has never ordered a steak any way other than well-done and was floored by the medium well. the waiter was extremely knowledgeable and provided both a detailed history and flavor profile of select whiskeys/bourbons. this took the experience to a new level as we were able to apply that knowledge when tasting a flight. amazing experience. will definitely be back!

Stopped in for the first time on a tuesday night before thanksgiving. both servers gabby and melissa gave me prompt and exceptional service. the servers assistants were also very attentive when i needed a plate cleared or more water. i ordered the grilled shrimp per the server s seafood recommendation and i was pleasantly surprised not only by the flavor and spice of the shrimp but also that it came with a dinner salad and baked potato. their house dressing was one of the flavor highlights – as it had a great balance of lemon, pepper, and a sweet vinegar taste. portions are very generous given the affordable prices on the menu. 10/10 recommend and will be going back!

My friend picked this place and she picked it right. the food was great, and the service was awesome. alexia, i believe, was our server. she was attentive and present. loved her smile. she was patient with us as we asked her about everything on everyones tables. we ended up ordering pretty much all the deserts they had because of this. the food was delicious. i got the carnivore burger and ate every last bite it was so good. i highly recommend this place if you are ever in the hill area of saint louis.

This was an outstanding experience start to finish. the service was incredible. our server was very friendly and attentive. there was also a bus person who made sure our water glasses were always full and quickly cleared the table of finished dishes (he was a star!). and the food and drinks were amazing. large portions of deliciousness! id give six stars if i could!

If you are looking for a fine dining establishment with deep roots in this area look nowhere else, this is the place to eat. this fine 5-star fine dining establishment has deep roots within the anheuser-busch family and is located on the ground of the busch family estate. i highly recommend that you take your hard earned money here. not only will you be beyond satisfied, but you may take your next meal home with you. the food is gordon ramsey quality standard and the management is super friendly and fun. mark does an outstanding job and has completely re-shaped and reformed the dining experience at an establishment that has been around for many decades. i make sure to eat her at least once if not twice a year.

Best place for a good steak at a very reasonable price. tuckers place has been a well known restaurant in the st. louis area for many years. their service and quality of food is always consistently good. we had a family member that was taking about going and they changed their mind so my wife a i decided we were still going. man am i happy we went the surf and turf was perfect and i had left overs. if youre in the mod for a good steak tuckers is a great causal restaurant.

Everything about my experience was great here. our waiter was so friendly and professional, everyone greeted us as we walked in. the chefs special chilean seabass was delicious and just melted in my mouth. the raw oysters were good and fresh too! overall i definitely would go back

The food was incredible and the service was above and beyond expectations in this price range. lovely holiday pop-up bar open upstairs during our visit. highly recommended. well be back.

Celebrated our 36th anniversary here. we shared the shrimp ceviche, truffle fries and a bottle of champagne. i feasted on the salmon pad thai while my husband had the denver waygu steak. a complementary flourless chocolate torte topped off a fantastic meal. david is the best server! thank you for sharing our special evening with us!

My mom and dads birthday was a hit! we had a table for ten and it was a great experience for the whole family! they came and sang happy birthday with music, put a birthday bandana on them, and the chef was exceptional! my salmon was spectacular! i appreciate the positive energy and the interactions between us. thank you for the genuine kindness! 10/10, im going again! vegetarian options: my son is vegetarian, and my sister and brother are vegan. they were very satisfied! kid-friendliness: my nephew had a great time!

We just experienced the brunch this morning and omg it was as much and more than we expected. we had taken the time to read the reviews before going and wanted to try. we had the pleasure of meeting the owners as they are the ones setting up the buffet and greeting guests. jorge and rachel were so kind. we topped our meal off at the bar with some of jorge s homemade adult beverages. so good! we will definitely be back. one side note, if you are coming for the brunch wait until 12 to go. the food comes out at request. the food on the bar will fill you up before the table side items come.

1/13/24 we arrived in st. louis on the 11th for a college visit, and we asked what would be a good place for dinner? so we were told about the twisted ranch , so we decided to give it a try last night. our attendant (louisa) gave us several different options and suggestions. i had the bbq pulled pork with cole slaw and peppercorn ranch and my daughter had the buffalo chicken wrap with peppercorn ranch also. definitely a place to go to if dropping into st. louis. the atmosphere gives bar lounge but it had a little bit of elegance to it as well.
