Got there around 5:30 on a tuesday and were seated quickly. best server ever!! wish i could remember her name but im writing this review a week later but it was a beautiful name that was a little hard to pronounce. tried to get us to upgrade just like everyone there does but really understood what we wanted from any upsells if that makes sense. the food was hot that night and every order was correct which is appreciated. we ordered chicken critters, herb crusted chicken and a steak. we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. our server was quick with the refills! we were celebrating my friends 30th birthday so we also got dessert and it was delish!

Arancini appetizers are absolutely delicious a must have! next, we ordered the cedar plank salmon and the crispy cajun chicken everything seasoned and topped perfectly bravo to the cooks. then to finish off the night, baileys creme brulee service and food was fantastic high recommended!!

Didnt wait for food. waitress very attentive asked several times if ok or needed anything. food was awesome. cornbeef and cabbage . awesome they got the best horseradish. everyone was wonderful thanks i also got a meal to go it was awesome

Fabulous diner experience yall! our waitress grace was super attentive and so sweet! the hostess, who may have been the owners wife? not sure, but super sweet and attentive as well. this place is clean yall! clean floors, booths, and bathrooms! my hubby had the breakfast slammer dish which was hashbrowns with cinnamon swirl bread, sausage, egg and cheese sandwiches. 2 of them! and they were generous! he loved them! i had the santa barbara cheeseburger which was fabulous! avacado, bacon, thousand island sauce. yumm! i definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody or any family when youre in the dekalb illinois area. we will be back! thank you!

Lately i ve been getting the bistec oaxaca and it s always perfectly cooked and juicy, my vegan fiance gets the tacos de hongos and loves them. the premium margarita doesn t taste like alcohol at all but i promise they pour them strong, just delicious. can t say enough good about taxco. my favorite restaurant in sycamore. dietary restrictions: vegan friendly

I really enjoy the black bean burger personalized to the way i want it. im not a fan of their frozen hamburger patties, so this is a nice way to have a burger with my family. the hand cut fries and onion straws are also very good! the atmosphere is perfect, nice view of downtown sycamore and a nice outdoor patio too. the service can be very slow if you are not having alcohol.

Best burrito in town. price is spot on. taste is awesome! great people.. what more could you want. 10 bucks for a big honking burrito that tastes great! no brainer.. go..you wont be disappointed food

What i love about tom & jerrys is that the food is consistently the same. if youre craving a dog, its going to be as good as last time! the cheese fries are amazing as well!

Amazing greek food. i had the gyro burger and i highly recommend it! the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was brought to our table in a short amount of time. really a great place!

Want an italian beef and fries and chocolate cake shake. yes, this is the place. they have an expansive menu, so you can find pretty much what youre looking for. (sorry, no pizza. no shwarma ) all our food was fresh and hot, but there was one thing that wasnt handled. i order ribs with no sauce. i got the opposite. no biggie cause im no karen. definitely will go back.

Came here the night of october 7, 2023. it was my girlfriend and i first time there. it was a great experience. now as a black man, im always down for some good bbq ribs and when i seen they had some, i ordered a full rack with fried shrimp. it came with an amazing baked potato and some fries. my girlfriend had the chicken patty melt on rye with loaded tater tots. she said it was amazing. very friendly staff. and followed order instructions perfectly. will come back again soon.

Culvers is what other fast food restaurants should follow. excellent service great food. management does an excellent job of hiring the right people. they actually seem to like working there. not easily found in todays work environment.

Their detroit style pizza is the best ever! . we got the sycamore supreme. crispy crust (not hard), the italian sausage & pepperoni was crunchy,not burnt. the red sauce, mozzarella, onion & green pepper combo took it to the next level of deliciousness.

I am honestly one of those people who had to google how to make a google review just so i could give a 5 star review to this quaint restaurant in sycamore, il. we stayed at the best western and first chose the restaurant, out of convenience, because it is right next door. then when we opened the door, to maria s, it was no longer about convenience! from the music of zachary to the welcome of our server nicole, we were confident that the food would be amazing and it was! it s a simple menu that offers italian deliciousness beyond simplicity! the favorite so far is the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp. we are now planning a second dinner, to sample the rest of the menu, that will include dessert!

I loved going here for breakfast–coffee was excellent, and the food was always delicious. my favorite dish was the corned skillet, with pancakes. their pancakes were amazing. i also love the fact that they were close to genoa. sadly, i drove by there a few days ago, only to see a for lease sign on the windows of the building, and that they had closed down. apparently their north location in rockford is still open, so i may have to go there from now on, but that is quite a bit farther. so disappointed.

My brother and i literally came here three days in a row. we pretty much order everything on the menu. i love restaurants that are willing to change and allow us customers to switch stuff around when we are ordering. we are paying, so why not. i usually get the three tacos dinner meat varieties depending on what i have a taste for.

The pizza here is the best in area. sause is homemade and very tasty. the beef roll is one of our favorites! unique and filling. worth every bite! must go or order. worth the wait. manny

Ive been eating slow smoke bbq for almost 10 years. the pulled pork and beef brisket are the best around!!! i recommend the ranch potato salad and the cowboy beans for their sides. all of the barbecue and carolina sauces are delicious. great food, good prices.
