Superb restaurant for special occasions. the staff, ambiance, and food all around was spectacular. there wasn t a qualm about anything from making the reservation until the evening ended. i called ahead and notified the staff of the special occasion and received a complementary tablecloth and candle on the table by the fireplace, as well as a scrumptious dessert. would recommend this to anyone who wants to celebrate here with a delicious meal.

We called timpone s on tuesday to ask for reservations that friday for around 20 people for a short wedding ceremony and dinner. the manager was accommodating and said we may need to share the space but he was sure he could make it work, even with the short notice. the restaurant made adjustments to allow our group private space in the tuscany room. we had two staff with us only and they were phenomenal and patient. we ended up with an amazing, romantic atmosphere for our small intimate wedding with our closest friends. timpone s served the food as they would with any table and the presentation, timing, quality, and portions were perfect. many of our guests were blown away with the restaurant. our staff were so helpful and on top of things. they were extra nice in letting us hang out a little later than they are normally open with smiles on their faces. timpone s isn t a place that traditionally handles a wedding, but they handled ours like pros. we highly recommend them as the food and service are top notch.

We came on good friday at around 1015. we had debbie as a server and oh my lord was the the absolute best server i have experienced at the barrel. she was super attentive, she was very informative, and just wonderful to deal with. she got it all right and we never has to ask for a refill. she is the best one they got and we will always just ask for her. you should too! thank you debbie! we love you!

The food here is amazing and so is the service! i have been addicted to the chicken schawarma and fresh falafel, and everything else i have tried has been wonderful! i highly recommend and just wish i tried this food sooner!

A popular thai eatery near the uiuc campus. we made a pit stop to take out the dinner while we were driving from chicago to memphis. i ordered chicken pad kra praow – with a fried egg on top. this was spicy, hot, flavourful – absolutely terrific in its own way. the portion size was big. i finished the entire box in my two meals. the fried egg on top was perfectly seasoned, and the crunchy edge was to die for. overall, a great meal, highly recommended.

January 14, 2024 – bunny s is a great getaway to have a meal, meet for drinks or watch a game. hidden off race behind main street, bunny s is an iconic fixture of urbana. we met friends for a late breakfast before going to the illinois basketball game. the staff greeted us warmly, provided us menus and brought drinks as soon as we arrived. the food was hot and fresh without a long wait. check out bunny s when you are in champaign-urbana.

We came in from out of town. food was great, best fries i ve had in a long time. service was friendly and welcoming. vegetarian options: quesadilla, grilled cheese, salads dietary restrictions: we have egg and dairy allergies they accommodated parking: parking right next to the building kid-friendliness: owners and staff were welcoming to the whole family

I had heard so much about wood nhog i had to check it out myself. the turkey tips were recommended and mehn …they hit the spot. carried my family for brunch and micheal himself attended to us. the meat was great!!!!!! am surely going to be back to try out more on the menu.

Small under the radar korean bbq. there are probably about 10 grills in the place. there is not a tremendous amount of atmosphere, but i guess the atmosphere comes from grilling. the food and meat were all very good. kimchi pancakes were huge. the meat grilling entrees come with a lot of meat and can be split by 2 people who do not have huge appetites. lots of metered parking nearby but free after 5 pm on weekdays.

Prices have went up! fridays used to be all you could eat walleye at a reasonable price but no longer. ordered 2 pieces, fries and salad bar…went from around $15 to $23 without tip. still good food but at that price i wont be going back for lunch.

The staff was friendly and attentive! we were given chips and salsa right away and also given a refill on them as we were hungry when we arrived. the margaritas are huge and tasty, the food was filling and delicious. it was an all around great experience!

Pretty good food and rather filling as well. i had the chicken stir fry, (white rice and mild), and it came out relatively fast. the food doesn t come with drinks so if you want water make sure to ask for one. the place was clean and the staff were nice as well.

Service is friendly and the mexican food is great! authentic little restaurant. fajitas are good, and a good value.

The new kitchen manager, anna, has really turned that place around. if you pop in, ask for her. she s a fun chat! the staff is friendly, the ambiance is that of a diner. you won t get fine dining food but you ll get great comfort food at a fair price.

I tore this plate up. easily a new favorite in the champaign-urbana area. spent $25 between my partner and i, and we felt full leaving. do i even remember what we ordered, honestly no. but i know that it was delicious.
