The ft. worth ribeye cooked to a perfect medium is truly impeccable l, and the fried onions add a delightful crunch and flavor. however, i found the boneless buffalo wings slightly on the salty side for my taste.

Food was amazing, the servers were so pleasant. the atmosphere was very welcoming. we enjoyed out dining experience. the french onion soup exceeded expectations. we got the wood fired chicken pasta and rotisserie prime rib. everything was wonderful.

Tremendous gem of a restaurant. my wife and i both loved our meal, our waitress was excellent – attentive but not overbearing, and the atmosphere is cozy, warm, and relaxing. will absolutely be coming back

This was an amazing place! the view alone was worth coming here. we all ordered different burgers and they were all devoured. tater tots as an option as opposed to french fries was great, and an extra plus: the had garlic parmesean seasoned tots! (it was fresh garlic w oil, so as long as you dont mind a little extra grease, this is a must order!)

Really good food being served up at simeon s. although most dishes met my expectations for a place like this, some pleasantly surprised me. the braised short rib was by far the best dish we had. 9/10 rib that just came apart and the flavour was great. it dried out quite quickly and was in need of the sauce by the end but it was excellent. they should shred some of it up and put it in a burger because that would be top. second best dish and notable mention was their famous clam chowder. definitely worth the claim to fame they put next to it on the menu. 9/10. it was really smooth and creamy but also had really fresh pieces of fish. the rest of the meal was very standard: – oysters 8/10 – prawns 7.5/10 – half lobster 8/10 – spicy clam pot 7/10 – burger 8/10

Babyyyy, i would give 7 stars if i could! i absolutely lovedddd my blackened catfish sandwich, the cornbread, the very friendly and helpful service, ooo i had a great time (alcohol-free)! i was so inspired, i went to the wegmans every day i was in town to get catfish and made sandwiches in the airbnb. wish i were closer to give them all my money!

Was a very beautiful restaurant the food the appetizers was presented. well great host. great waitress food was absolutely delicious. would recommend to anybody looking for a good meal. phenomenal alcoholic beverages

Food is good (get the grilled salmon!)! ordered the grilled dates, grill salmon and cheeseburger (which comes with a generous amount of fries). limited menu options means its easy to choose what to eat and more likely that the food is good, which is exactly the case. grilled dates comes in 3 pieces which is a bit awkward to share but its good. grilled salmon is perfection, crispy on the outside yet so tender on the inside, sauce goes really well with it. cheese burger is simple but good, the bun is so soft, fries is just fries nothing special. server is nice, keeps checking in and surprised that they would replace the cutlery after appetizer, but they did forget the knives so oh wells. overall a very good experience and will definitely go back.

This was a wonderful dining experience for my family. the menu had a wide selection of dishes ranging from salads to burgers. they had a lovely wine selection and an excellent selection of microbrews made in-house. the food was delicious and expertly prepared and well worth the money. the service was good and they take cash and cards. there is an atm right next door if you want to take advantage of the cash discount. the only concern is parking as the ithaca downtown commons is very pedestrian focused.

Love, love, love this place! cant wait to come back when its warmer and we can sit outside. theres lots of gluten-free and locally sourced options. i would say the only negative was music was kind of loud for a casual dining experience, so perhaps they could turn that down so people can converse more. the other thing was the tables were a little small for all the delicious food we wanted to order lol. we had the gluten-free mac n cheese which had an exquisitely creamy cheese sauce with a nice sharpness to it. the gluten-free fish was crispy and moist inside (we switched out the fries or rather chips to side of coconut rice) which was a nice contrast so that it wasnt a completely fried plate. also had the locally sourced wings, which were huge. we recommend the baltimore style wings.

We re big fans of gola osteria, which offers beautifully prepared food with a seasonal menu rotation. it s not hard to spend a lot of money here, but it always feels worth it. the swordfish special has been excellent whenever we ve seen it, the grilled octopus is done perfectly, the eggplant parm features outstanding red sauce, and the black spaghetti is a hit. add a great bottle of wine, including some affordable gems. goal s space is a little odd, and can be confusing for first-time visitors. use the intercom at the front door to be buzzed in, or go around to the patio door if it s not snowed in. the old architecture also means it s sometimes noisy in here.

Great food, fun & friendly service! the ambiance was fine – either in the comfortable downstairs dining room & bar, or out in the open air on the sidewalk. amazing take on ceviche and so nice to have tasting flights of very smooth tequila! my wife tried the eggplant smothered in avocados; i had a hearty steak salad. lots of fun hot sauces and pickled veggies as a condiment bar. enthusiastic young waiter – wish we could recall his name; he was a real asset to the restaurant.

We went for a small family celebration and had a wonderful time. our server patrick was extremely knowledgeable and genuinely excited about the wonderful food that was coming from the kitchen. i particularly enjoyed the mussels, fennel and mango appetizer, and the desserts were out of this world.

We visited this french restaurant for an early valentines celebration and faced a long 50-minute wait. the warm lighting and decent wine selection set a welcoming atmosphere, earning the decor a 7/10. service was impressive, with a knowledgeable server, deserving an 8/10. our meal journey began with entrees: fennel slices at 6/10, beef tartare with a strong capers flavor at 7/10, and an overly salty onion soup gratinee at 6/10. the main courses were a hit or miss, with the monkfish and mashed potato standing out at 8/10, while the duck confit was too salty, scoring a 6/10. the meal concluded with a decent almond cake, rated 6/10. in summary, the ambiance and service were highlights. its worth another visit.

What a pleasant surprise. my boyfriend and i were driving through ithaca on our way to the finger lakes and needed a spot for dinner. he texted an old friend who lives there and his immediate response was mercato. we were hesitant as we usually are with italian restaurants but went with it and wow am i glad we did. what a fantastic meal from start to finish. we have the bruschetta trio which they so nicely split in half so it was easy to share. my boyfriend had the steak and it was cooked perfectly. also the shoestring fries were a thing of beauty. my pork milanese was thin, crispy and juicy. we had a side of the broccolini which was garlicky and cooked just how i like it, with a little crunch. the bartender helped us select a bottle of wine and it was exactly what we wanted. if you are in ithaca make sure you stop here for dinner, it s worth it.

After a morning of bird watching in sapsucker woods, we were famished. we drove into town and stumbled upon reds place accidentally. we had sausage & kale soup, macaroni & chhes with chicken appetizer, cheesesteak & the french onion burger. soup was fabulous! mac & cheese, amaz, it actually was award winning as we sat under the plaques, and the burger was amazing and cooked a perfect. medium rare. served a great choice of craft beers as well.

Wonderful experience! fantastic service and delicious, nutritious food. wendy was a stellar server. highly recommended! (but admittedly, im a little biased because i used to work at another fabulous chilis in florida.) parking: can park in the barnes and noble parking lot too.

Everything was delicious eggplant parm, gyro, greek salad, penne a la vodka. service was excellent. looking forward to going back to try other dishes.

I love the state diner, its been an ithacan staple as long as i can remember. the food is consistently delicious and the servers are nice and friendly. coffee flows like water here, burgers are cooked to perfection, with crisp and tasty fries. the cooks mean business and its fun to watch them slamming out orders, theyre good! with that hometown diner vibe, its hard to go wrong at the state. i know ill be back, you should visit too! vegetarian options: vegetarian options on the menu. salads, omelets, lots of potato styles too. parking: you may have to look up or down state street for a good spot, but theres usually something close by. just pay for parking during the week, its not worth the $15 ticket to chance it. kid-friendliness: all ages, family establishment. everyone is welcome :) good options for kids on the menu. fun stuff like milkshakes and mozzarella sticks await you! wheelchair accessibility: i think theres just the one step up into the building, with a little help that shouldnt stop a wheelchair. mostly booths and tables, im sure they could accommodate anyone though.

Delicious food, friendly server. thai spicy noddle is very delicious and level 3 is not that spicy. we ordered papaya salad, green curry, coconut soup, mango sticky rice

Good mexican food in a lovely atmosphere. our waitress was so attentive. we went back the next evening for taco tuesday, the tacos were pretty bad i am sorry to say, the did not even season the meat. it was quite different than the food the night before. maybe it was just a bad night but i expected more.

Excellent vibes!! superb bobblehead collection!! i grabbed a chef salad and chicken tenders to go, they were awesome!! honey mustard and the salad dressing were both so good and clearly made in house!

I have been coming here for years and have yet to have a bad meal! ive worked in the service industry, so i understand their policies and can be patient with a long wait time. it gives you a chance to grab a drink at another spot nearby and the time is almost always much sooner than they say. my go-to order is a bottle of an italian red wine, their homemade stracciatella mozzarella, the spicy vodka pasta with chicken, a clam pizza with added mozzarella, and i can never say no to a piece of their baklava or tiramisu!
