Can be a little loud when busy. seating leaves something to be desired and needs more personal seating. the staff there was absolutely wonderful from the moment we walked in till the time we left. super friendly and attentive. the food… oh my, the food… my wife had the ribeye, and i had the 6oz filet mignon. we both had moments of bliss per bite. i have never had a steak so flavorful, so moist, so tender that i would rather let it break down on its own rather than chew it. i should have ordered the 10oz instead as the 6 oz left me wanting more. i am a picky eater, never do i eat the fat on a steak… today that changed. couldnt have picked a better place for a steak.

10/09/23 update: had a wonderful time on saturday afternoon, lounging on the stockpot s outdoor patio that overlooks the luscious green golf course, as i took full advantage of one of the last few days of portland sunshine, while enjoying entertaining conversation with good friends, leisurely sipping on iced spanish coffees and being waiting on by the lovely miss lexi. good food, tasty drinks, quick seating and fantastic service on a gorgeous weekend what more could you possibly ask for? i highly recommend this hidden portland gem. 2022: went here for dinner on a sat evening. got seated right away during start of dinner rush, which was nice. chairs outside are super flimsy cheap plastic, which i thought was a little odd. don t sit down too hard or fast, or you might end up on the ground (seriously). drinks weren t that good. food was okay though. we ate off the happy hour menu. i really liked the mussels and the caesar salad. service left a lot to be desired. server was super sweet, but kept disappearing for long periods of time when we needed something with no way to find her. didn t really bother us all that much until we needed to leave and had no way to pay. all in all, not a bad place to go for a quick happy hour bite, but don t expect anything special.

Updated! i really like this place. its a bar/restaurant with a really great vibe. the drinks are always made very well and so reasonably priced! i had 2 soft chicken tacos (that i cant find on an online menu anywhere…). they were good, very fresh. the salsa was really yummy, i could have just had a large bowl of that. im hesitant to tell anyone about this place because i want to keep it to myself. the bartenders are always super friendly even when theyre busy. update! 2/12/24 i was here with friends and we all had drinks and food. the bartender who seems to always be there at night was super friendly and fun. she seems like she enjoys her job. we had 2 rounds and some food. i dont remember what my friends had because i was too busy gorging myself on the chicken fried steak. it was ginormous and delicious. bartender said it was impressive that i finished it all; i said i was embarrassed that i finished it all. the best chicken fried steak i can remember having. the bill was totally reasonable too!

Oswego grill was an excellent dining experience! we were seated quickly, served quickly, and the food, service, and ambiance was great! we had the stuffed prawns, crispy brussel sprouts, and blt. all were exceptionally tasty. the server approached us shortly after we were seated with a smile, water, and specials. the food came within 5 minutes and was delectable. the prices were reasonable as well. i also had an old- fashioned which was the best ive ever had. i think there was a hint of cinnamon in it. we decided on the brownie for dessert. it came in a cast-iron pan straight out of the oven and was perfectly crispy and mushy inside.

We really enjoyed coming to benihana to celebrate a birthday. we showed up on time for our reservation, and were immediately told to sit by the hostesses, which made me a little nervous as we started to wait about 15 minutes, but then luckily our table was ready. good drinks, very good typical benihana food. and overall fun experience to enjoy a special occasion. what we really loved that was different than past benihana locations i ve been to was our waitress, singing happy birthday and getting the whole table to join in and taking a polaroid photo and posting it in a frame for us to take home. such a great addition! our chef made us laugh, was impressive with his cooking and knife skills and of course the food was tasty & delicious. will definitely return!

Love this place! been going here for the last year and a half or so. their fish and chips are excellent, and the side of chowder that comes with them is reason enough to come back on its own. im also a fan of their pork chops over chipotle/cheesy grits. the peach salsa that comes along with it is great! also every server we have had there has been top notch. weve had kenzie several times, and its been an absolute pleasure each time. wildfin is always on the short list of places that my fiance and i are down to go out to any day of the week.

I welcome surprise for a restaurant not in the center of the action. the beer was fresh in the bar was extremely well stocked. a great selection of beer as you can imagine and servers who knew what they were talking about. the pickled vegetables, the sandwiches, i dont think you can go wrong!

First time customer. my wife wanted a blt so i googled what restaurants had them and this place came up. it did not disappoint! menu is chock full of pop culture references that will entertain you while choosing your libations which are quite extensive. shout out to our server, mallory, who was happy to answer a few questions when it came to dessert selection and she was right on! also kid friendly!

Came here to celebrate a job promotion. we were seated promptly but our server took over 15 minutes to come to the table to acknowledge us. she may have been on a break but she was no where in sight for a long time. we got a chance to browse the menu and ordered our food and drinks eventually. thankfully, food came out promptly and the waters were refilled very attentively. the appetizers are delicious and the entrees are great. the pizza is just meh.. slim on the toppings for the price. drinks are spendy but the entrees are delicious and generous which matches well with what they charged. dessert is reasonably priced and portioned well. we will come again when the menu changes. not a fan of gorgonzola so had to skip the steak while my husband devoured it.

There aren t a lot of choices in terms of korean food in portland, but i m happy to have discovered this place. good mix of street style and restaurant food here and it s good too. parking is a challenge in this crowded little strip mall. additionally the night we went, 2 tables that sat after us were served before us (we were only a group of 5) and we waited a long time before they even took our order. that s my only gripe, otherwise it was good food.

Great food. right next door is a hotel and next to us was a couple meeting a friend they had not seen in 15 years. they met at black bear and talked about old times over pancakes. very cool!
