The food is decent. i dont understand why they make customers wait 30-40 minutes when there are plenty of tables empty. everytime i eat there, my hair smells like a steak but the food is still good. if you are not a meat eater, i recommend the scallop dish. some appetizers are a bit overpriced but the quality is good. a glass of wine, bread, entree, and a shared appetizer, you can budget around $100/person.

I went with my family and received the greatest customer service. lynden was our server, and he was amazing. he took care of us like we were family. his smile and attitude shows that he is very experienced. we were surprised to find out that he was not in a management position. when you go to this restaurant, please request him. you will not be disappointed.

Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, all around great experience! weve been here a few times and we always enjoy ourselves. we normally sit at the bar which is in a cozy little offshoot away from the main dining room. the steaks weve gotten have always been cooked to perfection. the bartenders are always on point making delicious drinks that are served with style. i always recommend the 1799 smoked manhattan for any whiskey fans that we bring here. best place for steak and drinks in old town!

Staff was super sweet. it was close to closing time we really appreciate the patience that they had. we had a family member in mt. vernon hospital and we lost track of time. home for us is 2 hours away and was great to have the skrimp shack to go to. lovely people at this location. we highly recommend for anyone to go to.

Enjoyed dinner tonight at river bend with my family of 5. this gem of a restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, from the initial phone call to make reservations and warm greeting by our host (brian) and the very knowledgeable and attentive waitstaff (antonio), to the pleasant decor and comfortable seating. the menu options all sounded delectable, and i will definitely return to try more items. the food was outstanding, and they accommodated our dietary requests, serving delicious meals enjoyed by all of our group, including 2 vegan diners as well as our picky 6 year-old. very good price, especially for the quality. thank you!!

I will say, this isn t the best cheesesteak i ve ever had a place in philadelphia owns that title for me. however, outside of philadelphia? this place definitely wins that title. the meat was cooked wonderfully and with the mixture of it and the american cheese, this is a true cheesesteak and i suggest you order it whenever you can. the service was fast and accurate. parking: there aren t an overwhelming amount of parking spots available in the area, especially immediately in front of the restaurant, but if you drive around a little you ll probably find one. wheelchair accessibility: only one entrance and it has a large step up. it will be difficult for a wheelchair to enter.

We decided to check this place out for our day outing before we went to old town alexandria. its a nice restaurant. the storefront is nice with pictures all throughout and its black owned. the atmosphere here was very chill and our server alexis was really nice and knew the specials of the day and offered recommendations. the food was well seasoned and tasted like something my great grandma would have made. so a+ for that, the mac and cheese was delicious and had that baked taste. the potato salad was also very good and flavorful. i got the tea for my drink with the lemon flavor which was really good. we got mozzarella sticks for the appetizer and they were seasoned for the breading. my girlfriend loves mozzarella sticks and approved of these. then we got our entrees which were also good. she got the baked chicken breast and mashed potatoes and i got the salmon which was cooked well but lacked flavor/seasoning to me. it also comes with two sides which for me was mac and cheese and potato salad. hers also had green beans and i got an extra side of fries. we moved on to dessert and loved both the banana pudding which was made fresh and the nilla wafers were still crunchy which i love! i also got the bread pudding with bourbon sauce but you can also choose caramel if you dont want alcohol flavor for sauce. it was also very fresh and delicious with the ice cream and arrived hot. ill definitely be returning to try other offerings and i also loved that the tables had famous facts about african american figures of history. they also had many pictures of the owners over the years and i really loved the setup of the bar! even though i didnt get any alcoholic beverages this visit. it was my first time here but it certainly wont be my last.

The service is the best and owner is such a nice guy and is always making sure the customer is happy. the gf pizza is literally better than the regular pizza (but a bit more expensive). another favorite is for sure the athena salad such great flavors all around. the menu is great and again the owner and his staff are fantastic! i highly recommend this ledo pizza location and will come twice a month my wife and i usually do for the best gluten free pizza in the area!!! 5 stars

Clean, well organized, and the staff here are always on top of it! my family comes here all the time, and every time my experience has been great. reyna and marc have been my two favorite servers. the food has always come out hot, fresh and well executed, which obviously make it delicious. vegetarian options: omelets are great for vegetarians, and of course pancakes!

All you can eat ribs is on thursdays! was not expecting that, but definitely enjoyed them very much. the food has always been very consistent here. i like that you can taste the seasonings, and add your own bbq sauces, not a fan when all you taste is sauce. i loved the pickled onions, perfect to offset the sweetness of the bbq. the banana pudding dessert was not happening… our server was amazing, she was attentive, kept bringing drinks and checking on us.

Delicious food! got lamb and chiken over rice with green, and white sauce, onions chickpeas, ans onions. definitely try the combo. their rice is full of flavour and has authentic taste to it.

The kids and i visited this location for lunch today. we ordered two burgers and a hotdog along with some fries. the staff was extremely kind and courteous. the restaurant was clean! our food came out hot. we enjoyed the ambience. everything was great. we definitely will be back.

If you view my other reviews, you know this native new yorker is serious about great food, portion size and service. right hand held high , the best soul satisfying food ever in va!!!. ive been searching and waiting for this kind of place for years, finally the search is over!! dear god bless the cook!! i can eat a small animal, but the portions are sizable. cooked pan fresh to table in plain view, no stale leftovers or warmed over stuff ..just go p.s. its 4 pieces of fish, i consumed the missing one not show in the photo. its take out, but you can also sit for a bit in their small but cozy seating area offered with friendly welcoming smiles

I enjoyed my experience. was kindly greeted as soon as we entered. we were quickly seated. our waiter david was on point. explaining the menu and specials. assistance was on her job. making sure bread basket and water were full. food was good. i had cordon blue and sister had seafood platter. lighting was dim. perfect place for a date night.

It was a great experience eating at peri peri. the fries and a hundred times better than nando s. the honey butter chicken burger was a decent size (2 pieces of chicken, much bigger than the one at nando s) and ten times more tasty. staff is also very friendly. we will definitely be returning!

Had a wonderful server but forgot his name! we sat at the bar and almost everything was delicious! i didn t know they have happy hour on the weekends- so pleasant surprise! i would definitely recommend the blueberry lemon drop!! sooo good and the bang bang shrimp and calamari. i was not a fan of the mango pineapple drink

Ted s montana grill is one of my favorite places for a casual meal! our server gabe was top notch. the canyon creek bison burger, bison nachos, onion rings, fries. carrots, and beef filet were all phenomenal.

I really like this japanese steakhouse. the hibachi was a great experience. our cook did such a great job at entertaining and cooking a delicious meal. i really enjoyed how tender the fillet mignon. the folks i shared the space with were super nice and fun to have dinner with. i would definitely go here again. i was only able to get a photo of the shrimp shumai, the rest of the experience was too engaging

It was a beautiful, unseasonably warm sunday afternoon — perfect day for a walk along the waterfront in old town alexandria va with my son. even more perfect was sitting down for a delicious meal at the chart house. we had visited the chart house on the philadelphia waterfront a couple of times, so we knew we were in for a treat. this location did not disappoint. great atmosphere, great menu, great food, and incredible service! the kim chee calamari was an amazing start! it was melt-in-your-mouth delicious and the portion was generous. my alaska cod exceeded my expectations and my son thoroughly enjoyed his baked stuffed crab. everything was well-presented and though the prices were on the higher side, the quality of both the food and service made it well worth the investment. well surely return.

Went for my 6 month anniversary with my girlfriend and we both loved it! delicious food and wonderful ambiance. the staff was attentive and kind and gave us celebratory bubbly they made sure matched the alcohol wed already ordered (iykyk)! a wonderful little hidden gem!

This is our favorite sushi place. its more hibachi-the sushi section is small but its delicious. weve been going there forever and our kids have become little sushi connoisseurs. the staff are so nice and always talking about how fast theyre growing and how we are doing. the hibachi is yummy and so fun. the cocktails are delicious, too! if i could give this place more stars i would.

This place was absolutely amazing! i have family from nola and have had a hard time finding a place that knows how to make a proper roux for an etouffe, but this place nailed it! i had the oysters bayou, and my boyfriend had the steak pontchartrain. both were cooked to perfection. we had made a reservation and even though we were a tad late they promptly sat us, and the staff was amazing & friendly. definitely come hungry because the portion sizes are huge!
