Absolutely incredible dining experience at mackenzies. the food was delicious and the service was superb. it has been a long time that i fully enjoyed every part of my meal and was this impressed with a dining experience. the atmosphere was very nice and our server zane and another staff member kai were incredible as well. absolute star additions to the mackenzies team. they gave us so many helpful recommendations, checked on us so well throughout the meal, cleared our dirty dishes as soon as we had them done, and were just passionate about thier jobs. we ordered the tuna nachos, the land and sea, the porterhouse, the salmon and got sides of the lobster mac n cheese. for dessert we ordered a creme brulee and received a bread pudding on the house for our special occasion. all were delicious! i will definitely be coming back to mackenzies!

You can never go wrong with the famous. we made a reservation for my girlfriends birthday and were seated immediately upon arrival. all of the staff were professional, cordial, and most of all personable. the pacing of the courses was done impeccably, and there was no sense of urgency to turn a table over. all of the food was beyond perfect and was well worth the price. i was pleased to hear about the surf and turf special as i was torn between mashed potatoes, asparagus, filet, and fish. the majority of my table ordered the surf and turf special. our bartender/server also made my aviation perfectly. we went during a sunday dinner, and for such quality, i would suggest making reservations for an even seenless experience. cheers to the famous steak house for such a pleasant experience.

The food was delicious. both my salmon and my bfs steak were cooked to perfection. the service was absolutely lovely and top-notch. we had a great time here and will definitely be back.

Food 5 stars, service 5 stars, atmosphere 5 stars. we went in for a post valentine s day date, we were treated as if we were a part of their membership, they are not snobby or off putting and the portions you get for the slightly large price are pretty worth it i would say! cool date night place.

You must have reservations placed beforehand to dine here! they are open from 5-9pm. this is a very upscale restaurant where they cook some of the dishes right in front of you. a lot of people here were dressed up however there is no official dress code. the lobster tail appetizer was so delicious. for entrees we split a pepper steak (they are known for this) and a beef wellington. the steaks were perfectly done to a nice rare and so very tender. the beef wellington melted in your mouth it was amazing. i m sure the entire menu here is delicious but be prepared to spend upwards of $200+ for two people. you get both great food and a fun dining experience here. definitely a must try at least once if you re living in cos. perhaps for a special occasion. all of the staff were super friendly!

Saltgrass is back on its a game!!! it s been a rollercoaster with my favorite restaurant these past few years. they went from being delicious, fun, consistent to, inconsistent, food was bad. but thankfully the past 2 times i ve dined there they have again met/ exceeded my expectations. food is not only exceptional once again but the variety of better items is back with the exception of their fries which used to be triangular super crispy potatoes. bring these back. no one else has them and they were so good. i m happy to see brussels sprouts are back. thanks for getting it together again, i again recommend. fun fact! i have a copy cat recipe for their amazing baked potato soup on my youtube channel!

I can t begin to describe the level of amazing this place is. we went for our anniversary and the staff went above and beyond. everything from leaving a signed card and fresh rose on the table, to everyone wishing us a happy anniversary and thanking us for sharing it with them. they truly are masters at the little things, and that s what life s all about. while their service is unmatched, the food is right there as well. perfect mixed drinks to a steak that s so tender you almost don t need a knife. i truly wish i could leave more than a 5 star review. if you haven t been here, it s a must.

Wow, the weather hit and made the roads slippery so we stayed close to home. saturday date night with some much needed steak, baseball cut, which was amazing. my wife had the salmon wellington which she thought was amazing as well. the sides were perfect with my steak. service was excellent and its awesome to have great steakhouses close to home.

What a wonderful experience! i went back for a second visit today. 1st visit i had the cheeseburger. 2nd visit i ordered the french dip. whenever you can, get the shoestring fries! everything was great in flavor and presentation, but the shoestring fries were seriously some of the best ive ever had! peter was my waiter and his suggestions and recommendations were 100% on-point!

What a delightful surprise this place was. they had great cocktails, great appetizers. great waitress. we had a nice evening. and a bonus, they have their own parking spaces, hard to find downtown like that.

This rating is based on the last time i visited this place. i say this because ive been here before and both food and service have been inconsistent. however, this particular day (which was my sons birthday) was a great visit. my son chose this place because he loves their texas tonions and i have to say, they did not disappoint. im not much of an onion person but this was delicious! i ordered the flos fillet and it was cooked to perfection. the staff was incredibly nice and pleasant, and everyone in our table was happy with their meal and service. they even gave my son an ice cream sundae for his birthday. the price was reasonable for the food and service provided.

This restaurant was great! the steaks were very good. they were tender and juicy. we got the 3pm-5pm early bird special. it was nice having a cheaper late lunch option. the waitresses were very nice and checked up often. overall, id say it was a great first time experience for texas roadhouse.

My husband made reservations for valentines day because weve always wanted to try bonny and read. the entire experience was well worth it and we will definitely be going back. not only was the atmosphere wonderful, the service and food were outstanding. our waiter was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu, very professional, but also personable at the same time. the seafood was some of the best in colorado springs. parking: there is parking outside of the building along the street but its very difficult to get parking close to the restaurant. we had to go to streets down. wheelchair accessibility: there is wheelchair accessibility getting inside the restaurant

We were so hungry + everything we had hit the spot. i love the thick ranch and cold salad plates. the chicken was juicy and not dry. i m not a steak person but my husband is and he s now happy and full. =] a different couple took our reservation at first but it ended up being a blessing because we got sat with brandi jo as our waitress and she was awesome ! she was on top of everything we asked for + with a great attitude ! the manager also came by with a smile, much appreciated ! thank you for the great experience !

The most underrated restaurant in co springs!! we have very high standards being from the south and used to great cuisine and this restaurant delivers every time with all their dishes we have tried. authentic and family owned. highly recommend!!

From the second you walk through the door, you feel like family. this was my first visit and has already become a staple for us. carlos greets you with a vibrant smile and genuine excitement for you being there! from the first greeting to the closing of the check, you feel 100% taken care of and valued. sarah was our server and you have to request her if you go! prompt, knowledgeable of the menu, warm and attentive, she is the epitome of what amazing service looks like. don t even get me started on her mixology skills! a true gem of a place, we can t wait to be back!!

Oh my gosh!!! this place was amazing !!! it was my 1st time here for valentines this year which was gifted to myself & my partner from a frequent customer & i have to say that we absolutely enjoyed every bit of this restaurant!! from the drinks to the food to the salad bar it was all very tasty & well worth the wait. being that it was valentines day i knew there would be a wait for a seating which we had called in prior to make reservations for that evening. we ended up waiting about 40 mins to get a table. ( which isnt bad for a holiday) as soon as we got seated we were greeted right away ordered the special drinks & once you turn your button the food never ends. they will keep coming with all the meat that they are cooking for that evening & the salad bar is also unlimited & has such a huge variety of options. soups, salads , pastas, dressings anything you can think of im sure they have it!! when you dont want anymore of the meat then you can turn over your button so that way the server knows that you want to be skipped that round & you can give yourself time to breathe haha its alot of food . you wont understand until you end up going. over all we paid a little over $100 & to us that isnt bad at all! especially for the service you receive & the portions of the food. it was honestly a great experience for our 1st time & for it being how busy it was it was great & we would definitely be back! they also gave everyone beautiful roses when we left! the drinks were so good & you just have to try them! thanks for having us & we will be back soon!! vegetarian options: salad bar

Delicious meal, amazing service, and delicious food. entrance looks like a subway entrance and upon entering you re greeted by friendly staff and cozy ambiance. there are a wide range of seating style from high table top to booth cushion seat. our waitress is very friendly and make great recommendation. we were a group of 3 and a friend in the group is vegan – we were impressed with range of vegan options for appetizer and entree and was glad we could order something the whole table can share. food is big portion size. only comment is i wish we were informed the bread with pasta is extra ($6) as we though it was complimentary like in italian restaurant when we were asked if we wanted it and it wasnt listed as extra cost/option on the menu.

Went to dinner with my husband. i had the crab cakes they were great. he had the bison burger and said it was one of the best in town. our server was on top of things. it took a while to get drinks but it was busy. martini with blue cheese stuffed olives was yummy!

Took my family to the summit for my wife s birthday. great atmosphere, truly professional and friendly staff. the food was amazing. we had the stuffed egg plant pasta, the sablefish with artichoke soup, and our daughter had the kids menu. only remembered to take photos of the desert but the meals were amazing. parking: the restaurant will validate your parking for the garage so it ll be free. we used the valet and the car was parked right in front.

I arrived at outback steakhouse about an hour before closing time, so was pushing it a little. but i was never made to feel rushed by the lovely waitress who served me (my fault for not getting there sooner). started off with the coconut shrimps, which are a favourite of mine from outback and a must as a starter. came with a mouthwatering dip too, which was a great accompaniment. the main of a really juicy, tender piece of salmon and rice with broccoli was also delicious and hot, with the salmon cooked to perfection! all in all, a great place to stop off, with great food and great service too!

A fun and delicious food adventure in a casual atmosphere. maybe too casual for the high end food and attentive service they give you, but if you have a spouse that doesnt like to dress up then it is the perfect place! the service was just as fun as the meal. they made my birthday memorable even though i have cooked for a living. so impressed with this hidden gem! if you like to try new things then this is where to go before they eventually attract crowds of global food lovers.

My family went out to dinner at outback steakhouse last saturday and had z as our waiter. he was incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout the entire visit. also, our steak and chicken was cooked perfectly! we will definitely be back, and hope to see z again- he truly provided amazing service.

Being a foodie, i was extremely excited to try four. the four course option was a wonderful way to try a variety of flavors, especially when you and your husband each pick something different! the entire experience was absolutely amazing. while our server was more cordial than friendly, she was attentive. the restaurant was sophisticated yet cozy, making it perfect for date night or an intimate dinner with friends. every dish was perfectly delicious and combined a wonderful assortment of fresh and complimentary flavors. the squid ink risotto was rich, with the chorizo and shaved serrano making it wonderfully savory. the quail had a crispy skin that gave way to tender meat inside. the pork chop was thick, juicy and the best ive ever had. the duck breast was served what i would call medium rare and the perfect texture. the key lime pie was not pie in the traditional sense, but much better. generally i am not a fan, but this rendition was incredible. the toasted marshmallow meringue made the dish in my opinion, giving it the right amount of sweet to compliment the tang of the lime. overall, four is 10 in my book. great flavor combinations, perfect portions and the perfect balance of textures to keep you wanting more!

During the superstars writing seminar, we made a new friend from australia who had never really experienced american cuisine. so we decided to take her in search of several flavors available to us in colorado springs. we ate there one night, and sampled several things. her biggest surprise was the catfish. damned good and went well with the jalapeno cornbread. then we found out about the low country boil they did on saturday, and oh my, was it freaking good. nearly as good as my own boil, but im a fire eater, and like mine a wee bit more spicy than most folks. otherwise, damned good vittles. chef was freaking awesome, and the band playing saturday evening just made the whole vibe perfect for our australian friend.

Really enjoyed our experience. the santa fe salad was great with blackened shrimp. our server jeff was very attentive and super nice! definitely recommend.

Listen, when i tell you each, and every thing they served was an absolute perfection. i am not using hyperbole. we were complementary to our server and the next thing we know the banana comes out and tells us how the food was made and how it was a pleasure to serve us and how much fun they have making their dinners and breakfast and lunches and drinks and how they all get along and they re a good team. that was really nice of him to come out and talk to us.i had pizza. we also had the sting bee cauliflower bites which were fantastic and another salad and a couple of drinks and it was just fantastic. bring your friends bring your family family you ll thank me later.

It was a good visit. service was great. food was very good. great bar style food which is what they advertise. the kids menu and the regular menu was a fair price. the kids pizza was good. we will go back i am sure. we had chicken marsala, bonsai burger, salad and cheese kids pizza. they split the salad and marsala as my wife and i were sharing.

It was absolutely delicious. portions were perfect-had leftovers. it was our first time here, even though were natives and we will be back. service was great. when we got the check i was shocked with how affordable it was.
