Celebrated my wife s birthday at arlo. they knew it was my wife s birthday and they really made her birthday so special by providing us with complimentary glasses of prosecco and a personalized birthday card. the food was delicious. excellent size portion of grilled octopus for the appetizer. we had the lobster parpadelle. lobster was incredibly tender and delicious. i had the easter special of elk and rabbit. very scrumptious.ee ended the evening with the baked alaska. we will remember our evening for years to come. kid-friendliness: had meals available for kids

Such a wonderful atmosphere, small place with great lighting, right on main street a block or two from the water. excellent food, i had the salmon in a sundried tomato sauce with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus, this was delectable. the service is kind and warm, very quiet place where you can tell love is the main ingredient, i will definitely be back.

Had my birthday lunch there today. i had the delicious skirt steak sandwich with french fries. their cab sauvignon by the glass is so good that i had two! tablecloths and mood lighting even for lunch- thats my kind of place. cozy little booths. they surprised me with a piece of cheesecake w/ a candle and sang happy birthday to me! i will be back here for dinner with my husband! everything was so delicious and spot on! thanks so much for a grrrrreat birthday!!!

One of the very few places on long island that live up to the good italian food hype. from start to finish the food was stellar and the service was surprisingly solid considering how busy it was. appetizers were great, especially the fried calamari (which was fresh and cooked perfectly). the main course was served quickly after that and there wasnt a bad dish on the table. i personally had the spicy chicken parm and was impressed at how well the chicken was prepared and the rigatoni cooked (both had just the right level of spice). drink wise, we ordered an espresso martini (which was of course phenomenal). we were worried when we walked in to a packed restaurant, that the service might suffer but thankfully we were seated immediately and a waiter came right over. throughout the meal they were quick on drink refills and to clear empty plates. our one (very minor) issue was with the parking, which was less of an actual issue and more just that we didnt know where we could and couldnt park (maybe some signs would help but the staff was quick to explain parking when we asked so it worked out fine). overall a great meal and well worth the money in my opinion. i would say its just like grandma makes but to be perfectly honest….it was better . cant wait to come back. vegetarian options: possible to eat vegetarian here. dietary restrictions: plenty of options depending on what diet youre working around. parking: parking was a bit difficult because we werent sure what areas were allowed for restaurant parking and what spots belonged to surrounding businesses. kid-friendliness: possible to take kids here but its a louder atmosphere and might not be okay for some kids. wheelchair accessibility: accessible

Visited with a party of 5 this past saturday for dinner and drinks. the atmosphere is very cozy and our server was great, as well as accommodating. calamari appetizer and bread were excellent. we ordered several entrees, and none of us had any complaints, we thought the steaks and fish dishes were great. nice location with prime views of the harbor. would visit again! vegetarian options: plenty dietary restrictions: options parking: free street parking after 6, otherwise paid meters. kid-friendliness: yes, but more of an adult establishment at night. wheelchair accessibility: ground level

I went with my aunt last night to break our fast (its ramadan). i was so happy we picked the right place. i can t tell you enough about their service and friendliness. they made sure the food came out on time. they go back and forth at your table to ask if you need anything and how things are going etc. i ordered a salad nuttiness with walnuts, cranberries, greens, goat cheese.. delicious. onion soup was good and very hot as i like it. got the main whole lobster and aunt ordered surf and turf. the plate was huge. can t go wrong with the price. everything was delicious and just as we wanted it. thank u for an amazing night. and thank you to the servers and great customer service. will definitely be back. i have nothing bad to say about this place.

This is the second time my partner and i have eaten at main street cafe. such a warm and cozy place. the decor is inviting and rustic, which i prefer. if youre into new hipster type of vibes, this isnt the spot for you. the staff are super nice. the restaurant is clean. the bar is a great place to get a drink. folks are pleasant. this last time we ate at the table near the front window. a tad bit cold there on a winter day with the door opening just fyi. sit near the far wall, not next to the door. the food – we had burgers. my partner had a bacon cheeseburger cooked medium and i had the turkey burger. very good. fries were hot and bun was nice and warm. if you prefer thin cut fries, these arent that. these are steak fries cooked nice and crispy. great place to eat, conveniently located on main st. highly recommend.

This is a true tasting menu! delicious food that can fit any palette (nothing too fancy for those that arent adventurous) and so much food and wine we were stuffed! loved it and would definitely come back. service especially was exceptional and we loved everything but the bacon (which just wasnt what we expected but of course eaten!).

2nd year having my k of c council christmas party at nt of east northport. gave us a great deal. a splendid time was guaranteed, abd nt delivered.

Ive had the pleasure of dining at la case cafe multiple times, and its a definite must-stop whenever im in the area. the meatball hero, a personal favorite, never fails to impress with its generous portions and mouthwatering flavors. what sets this place apart is not just the delicious food but also the delightful ambiance. sitting by the beach, i enjoyed my meal amidst a serene atmosphere, making the experience truly memorable. the staffs impeccable service ensures a seamless dining experience, and i appreciate how efficiently the food arrives. la case cafe is a delightful escape with delectable dishes and a beachside charm thats hard to match.

This place is amazing. the food was great, the eggplant meatballs are out of this world. delicious! the tempura asparagus was very good, great tartar sauce dip. the drinks were top notch! espresso old fashioned and the espresso martini were some of the best ive had. go see them and enjoy northport. tell em barsnobs sent ya!

Awesome food. one of the best diners in long island. great food, fresh ingredients, and friendly service in an inviting diner setting. the blintzes filled with farmers cheese, and home made berry jam, sour cream and fresh fruit topping simple delicious. good diner coffee. highly recommended.

My wife and i walked in for dinner without a reservation maybe two months ago at around 6:30 on a saturday. since the wait was a bit longer than usual we were kindly given a plate of edamame on the house. thats when we noticed that our server was working the entire dining room by herself after another called in sick last-minute. being short staffed is a challenge on any night but this was a packed house on saturday night with a large number of take-out orders flowing and the team stepped up with impressive dexterity. given the circumstances mistakes can happen but we didnt notice any. our meals were delicious, creative and beautiful. weve since returned several times for the great food but the real triumph that night was how well everyone in the front house performed. kid-friendliness: we saw several kids having a great time!

This is the 2nd time im visiting this location (my grandson & i enjoyed the first visit).. everybody when making eye contact greets you.. today (tuesday), our server kenia m, brought big smiles to our table.. my wife & i enjoyed chatting with her.. my wife got the mimosa flight & i got the spicy fully loaded bloody mary .. my wife to her delight had the hot honey mac & cheese .. i had the hangover skillet , not that i was expecting a hangover ..

The food and menu are excellent, the waitress is expert and german-speaking. the food is not just german (mainly german) but continental. the interior is great, the upstairs bathrooms and phone cabinet are classic and there is an ample parking lot. this was out of the way for me but my detail thought i would enjoy this. on a rainy saturday afternoon in an empty german restaurant my soul was refilled. the waitress was joy personified. dance. mahlzeit! parking: on the side of the restaurant, roughly 20 spaces.

Happy hours especially with oysters festival which was when we were here can make you overeating oysters costed $1.50, they were fresh and yummy . dishes from the festival menu were unusual and tasted awesome. fortunately they have happy hours every day even in weekends.

Probably one of the best vegan option restaurants ive been too. the vegan mac and cheese was really really good. so was the cauliflower app. love the bob marley theme. would recommend to everyone and anyone looking for veggie options and a fun time!!
