This spot got the best doubles, aloe pie and their yuca cake which is also called pone is good. i had their curry chicken and rice which is also good, tried their buss up shot which js roti they are delicious and fresh. love that you can get the doubles with chicken or without. definitely a go to spot on the weekends, love the people love the food. highly recommended for anyone who s looking for some good trinidadian food.

Taza halal eats is not in our neighborhood but we decided to go out of our way and give it a try since we love mexican food. we did not dine indoors but picked up some bowls to go, and we were not disappointed! their food is so delicious that we re hooked! the establishment is clean and the owners are nice. taza includes guacamole as part of the bowl without charging extra, which other places do. love the tortilla chips on top too. all the sauces were good, especially the chipotle. we love their food so much that we d kindly ask them to increase their portions overall, definitely recommend this spot!

Food here is delicious and fresh. i got the lamb and my friend got the chicken over rice. flavors are on point. prices are reasonable and there s parking in the back as well. they pack a lot of food in for you. felt like a pound with 2 carry out boxes. food is not adele s but does come close

I went here on 09/05/23. my co-worker raves about this spot so i had to check it out. in queens there arent too many places doing halal jerk chicken so when i heard they had it i couldnt wait to stop in. they have a pretty big lot in the back for parking. street parking is tough to find on the conduit so the lot is definitely appreciated. inside is setup for takeout. the staff works fast & efficiently. the young lady who took my order was a sweetheart & very nice. i went with their jerk chicken quesadillas, jerk chicken platter, fries & onion rings. all the food was amazing! ive never had jerk chicken before & my 1st bite into the platter was heavenly. the onion rings were perfect too. they have a large selection on different types of sauces from mild to spicy & everything in-between. i cant wait to come back soon & give their burgers a try. i highly recommend halal bros grill to everyone & especially those like me who are looking for legit halal caribbean food in queens. give them a shot, you will not be disappointed. plus they are open late. parking: free parking lot to the right right before the shop. plenty of parking in their free parking lot.

The steaks were amazing as always , we come for every birthday . we had the crab cake appetizer, skirt steak , ribeye both cooked to perfection with truffle fries and mash potatoes . for my birthday they got me a small lava cake with a candle and sang to me . great experience ily our server helped us out

From out of town. stop here for lunch on the way to jfk. food was good and reasonably priced. servers were friendly. i would visit frequently if i lived in the area.

Came in for a late brunch and was so pleasantly surprised! caesar was so amazing and friendly. we were late for our reservation so he was able to extend the bottomless. so happy that we gave this place a try. the starter bread was fresh and super tasty and soft. the rigatoni alla vodka was cooked perfect and tasted great, wish they added more sauce because it was super good. the charlie burger was juicy and delicious. this place is a gem! the decor and ambiance is 10/10!!! such a classy place in the middle of kew gardens! if you are in the area it s definitely worth a try, you won t be disappointed. the owner, sent over some rose for us after our meal and it was a sweet surprise! thank you charlie!

A surprising gem in kew gardens with a vibrant pan latin menu, innovative cocktails excellent service and festive (but not garish) ambience! they were helpful with familiar items and the cocktails were especially goodm the rationes would please anyone with their varied flavors and we didnt have anything that wasnt delicious! cant wait to go back note: they dont always serve brunch

Incredible staff made me feel welcome immediately. their great food hit the right spot. the music was a bit loud but didnt ruin the experience. give these guys a raise, every customer always had a drink in hand and having a great time, they are going beyond to make sure were enjoying ourselves.

The potato cigars we re absolutely amazing. i got a grilled chicken wrap, which was also really good. overall, the pricing and service are great i would hardly recommend.

In one word awesome. i 1st went to mr wish to get bubble tea and left sad because they were rude. then i kept walking and saw this beautiful elegant restaurant. the representative was kind graceful and well mannered i ordered pizza and a drink…virgin…so i give this place a 6. best wishes shall return.

If you have yet to try the best pesto slice with marinara ever, you better run not walk! absolute deliciousness in every morsel. i guarantee that you ll love it and tell everyone about it and keep coming back for more and more and then more! they don t stay open late since covid. lines can be long so be aware. if you re picking up pies, call ahead and expect an hour wait. pesto with marinara is the way to go for us but they have plenty of options plus an extensive food and drink menu as well. bon appetit!

An amazing place for mexican classics! their birria items are incredible. juicy, cheesy, meaty, crunchy. each bite delivers a blast of flavor. torta was fantastic. packed with amazingly fresh and tasty ingredients. the food here really soothed my soul. would recommend!

Have ordered here many times, the food has always been excellent. my favorite are the fries and the chicken salad. my wifes favorite is wings and i do have to admit that thier wings are really good. the guys that work there are always pleasant and helpful and friendly. never had any problems with anything. the physical store is a bit small, so if you plan to dine in, make note that they only have a few seats on a small bar shelf. i believe that this is one of those you have to try it places.

Pros: delicious food and drinks. enormous portions. each dish can feed at least 2 people. greetings from the executive chef and decent service overall. cons: prices are slightly higher than they should be. paying close to 40 dollars for pasta (handmade, and a show) still seems steep. as mentioned above the service was decent. could be warmer with letting the diners eat without having to constantly ask to remove possible empty plates where they have food on them. lastly, almost none of the servers were wearing masks and that creates too much room for error. for that reason, i m out. -suggestion would be to give a heads up (about the masks) for those making reservations in advance. (even if there s no mandate) overall, i would recommend this for those able to splurge a bit on a definitely unique experience. side note: noticed a slight price increase already from what the menu says online. for a restaurant that just opened. -suggestion would be to give the community time to acclimate and build up a reputation before making that leap. good luck to pier26! hope you succeed the best that you can.

I am always a big sushi fan. when my family and i came across this restaurant after a long walk in forest park, my stomach started to roar, so we decided to have a try. the foods were very fresh and tasted so good that even our stomaches were very satisfied, we still ordered one more roll. fishes were juicy, tender but still chewy. hot sake was a perfect match to our dishes. the waitress was warm and friendly. i told her that it was our first time there, she introduced each roll/dish to us. definitely will come back again!

Singas is one of the few places in nyc with greek/new england style pan pizza. the atmosphere here is above average place for a pizza place in nyc with lighting that isnt too harsh, a tile floor, chairs, and wooden tables. pizzas are cooked to order and, at least when theyre not that busy, theyll bring them to your table. sodas are bottled and cans only, but a good selection. a soda fountain would be nice, but they did give me a cup of ice when i asked for one.

Homey, familiar, worth it. excellent dinner and lunch specials and you can t get better than this in queens at this value. genuinely thankful for this haven, i have been following and eating at la cabana for 20 years. (ps- this year, there was one server who clearly didn t like his life but everyone and everything else is excellent, i think he finally left at the time of this review lol)

I just love this place :) we come every few months because it s close to home and they re open later. the staff are trained very well. we are always so happy with the service. food is always so yummy my favorites are the lamb chops, lobster salad, poivre sauce, bacon corn brulee and ny strip. tonight we ventured out and tried the creamed spinach and organic mesclun salad. both were phenomenal. their berries and cream is also so light and perfect and the perfect amount of sweetness after eating all that food. bill the manager is always there when we come through and always makes an effort to stop by for a chat. he is such a sweetheart and very good at what he does. it s truly always a pleasure at uncle jacks. i m confused on the reviews complaining about the prices. tonight we got a glass of wine each, 1 bottle of sparkling, 1 app, 1 salad, 1 16oz steak, 1 sauce,2 sides and 2 desserts for $200 after 20% tip. i think that s amazing, especially for the atmosphere and service.

I have no idea why this isnt one of the more popular places on bell blvd. they have amazing cocktails, unique concoctions that provide quite the kick. get a nice little buzz going and then order the best fried calamari i have had. the other food i have tried has also been really good…. all the salads are great. just a heads up… the food is a little spicy so if thats not your thing, you might be turned off. the decor is awesome. really unique design that is intimate and also has a retro lounge feel sprinkled with some modern elements. real comfortable place to have a drink or bring a date. give this place a try.

This greek restaurant near bayside has captured my heart. conveniently located, it tends to get quite busy in the evenings, so i highly recommend making a reservation. during a delightful late lunch with my co-worker, we were promptly served without a lengthy wait. the grilled octopus, a generous and tender appetizer, set the tone for a fantastic meal. my grilled calamari and my friends grilled branzino were equally impressive, and the lemon potatoes were a perfect accompaniment. what made the experience even more special was the small, complimentary dessert at the end of our meal. it was a sweet touch that added to the overall charm of the place. if youre a fan of greek cuisine and find yourself in bayside, dont miss this gem. plan ahead or secure a reservation for the evenings you wont be disappointed. a five-star experience with delicious food and a delightful surprise at the end!

Osp was the perfect place — great service, roomy, friendly atmosphere, good drinks — for this years flushing boys/girls club get together with friends we knew from 50 years ago… and made some new ones. back then, we enjoyed softball, basketball, football, track, chess, pool, ping pong and much more. it kept us off the street and helped us build character and determination. we shared stories from back in the day and caught up on each others lives.

Very delicious food that comes with big proportion and good price. there are so many different varieties to choose from. the atmosphere looks pretty good for dine in for food or for a cup of drink! i love the friendly service that it provided! would totally come visit again! kid-friendliness: there are food that the kids would like.

Mr. mario s is the place to come for a wonderful overall experience. we were attended by both luis and elber and received 5 star service by both. they were very attentive and made helpful recommendations when deciding which plates to choose. the food was amazing and portions were very good for the price. the place was very clean and had a great vibe and aesthetic. definitely would recommend to anyone in the college point area!

What an amazing cheeseburger! perfectly cooked, perfectly cheesy, and perfectly flavorful! the bun was also perfectly toasted and the fixings all fit in perfectly with little to no mess. my 5 year old son finished 90% of the 2 party burger and we split a chocolate shake which was pretty good! we will definitely come again!

We came right when they opened at 6 am and ordered the burgers deluxe!! we did not expect the burgers to be that massive and for such an affordable price! it came with french fries, an onion ring, a pickle and coleslaw. the beef was cooked to exactly how we specified it. our server was super nice. we wished she could have stopped by our table to refill the water, but understandably it got really busy after we came in and she was the only server working. our experience is overall amazing and we definitely recommend giving this place a try. we will be coming back to try the other stuff on the menu soon!

I recently visited art of grill and was blown away by the exceptional service! our server nelly was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. she made great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. the teams attention to detail and warm hospitality made us feel valued and comfortable. while the food was delicious, the service truly made our dining experience stand out. well be back!

This establishment has really come a long way. it is spotless inside and the food is truly delicious. i stopped in and had the calamari which has pieces of fried banana and red pickled peppers with it. it was delicious and fresh. my server was melissa who went over and beyond to ensure that i was happy and satisfied, she constantly arranged while she worked and was a happy and very pleasant to be taken care of by! the manager, rosa, is also extremely accomodating and honest about options. she makes a killer delicious sangria too, she is known for it! she is very hard working, doesnt stop moving and walks around greeting every table to make sure everyone is happy. the staff here want to make sure you get what you want and are pleased. we also had the akirt steak (i like mine well done) and they prepared it exactly as i wanted. the steak was fresh, perfectly seasoned and large! definitely better than most places and even better than some places known for it. i will be back. the environment is extremely quaint and the people and food are beyond pleasant and extra special. very pleased with this place and you will be too! thank you for such an enjoyable lunch!

Great food, wonderful experience but yes, its very overpriced. we spent a little over $360 for 2. we mainly went for the king crab because of an ig post wed seen but theyd neglected to mention itd cost $85/lb. we were not about to pay over $450 for a king crab. absolutely ridiculous! however, everything else we ate was delightful, especially the baked clams…a must.

This is a 2 visit review. both times the food was great. i d recommend the loaded fries and the fish tacos. they were both delicious. the margaritas are pretty good also, slightly on the sweeter side but still worth a try (i like mine more tart). the bartender accidentally gave us chicken nachos & to accommodate, brought us a side of the steak to put on top. the staff was very welcoming & kind even before the mixup. it seemed to just be 2 people working the floor but they did a great job even with a full bar of customers kid-friendliness: there s a kid menu

I ordered a single bbq beef ribs texas style, that came with a baked potato and cornbread. the beef was perfectly cooked. it was very tender, soft, and easily chewable. literally melting in the mouth. the portion of the single rib was huge for me, with lots of fat and calories. potato was prepared well, cornbread was very tasty. the food came with sour cream and butter. i visited the place at lunchtime and even though i wasn t able to finish my meal, i was so full that i hadn t had dinner that day. service was good, the waitress was very friendly and nice. food preparation took around 20-25 min. now i know that it s definitely not for me but is a great spot for people who love to eat a lot and don t care about healthy eating and obesity.

Everything i experienced about this place was a delight. the food was mouth watering good, found myself eating way more than i usually would because the food was so delicious. the atmosphere and personnel was second to none. loved it and highly recommend. the kabobs were out of this world good.

Its great for a quick stop if youre in the area. we were starving and parked and this was the place we picked and we were happy with the selection only 3 people were eating inside but it looked like they had a lot of to go orders. they quickly greeted us and answered any questions we had. for $55 we got 6 garlic knots, 5 slices of pizza, chicken roll, 5 sodas and a water. i think the pricing was reasonable and you get a lot of food cause the slices are big slices. they were really appreciative i tipped even though you serve yourself.
